The staff is nice. But the prices are crazy and when I tried to change to a smaller unit, they couldn’t help me with pricing so I would have basically been paying the same for less space. I went to a different storage facility and am now paying $100 less a month.

CubeSmart is a national corporation with a $4B+ valuation, and yet when a woman drove through the side of our storage facility with a moving van, it took them over eight months to repair the building - leaving a plywood wall instead with builder grade home doors that were never locked. Often I would visit my unit to find homeless people sleeping on moving carts in the elevator lobby while charging their phones. Meanwhile, they completely repainted the entire building and replaced the access code readers, bragging about these upgrades while there was still a massive hole in the side of the building. The “climate control” here was a joke, with thermostats slowly creeping up over the years until it was often more comfortable outside of the building than inside. I believe the last official word from the office was that temps in the 80s during the summer were considered climate controlled. I began my lease here at under $300, and at the time of moving out my rent had skyrocketed to over $600. All this for the same sized unit in the same broken, poorly secured building. All of this plus multiple instances of being locked out of my unit have led me to vow that I will never rent a storage unit from CubeSmart ever again, and I will recommend none of my family or friends do either. It is not surprising that the office of this building could never keep a regular staff of employees - it was managed like a Flint, Michigan Taco Bell.

Feel free to use this place if you want your rent raised every few months to 50% over the agreed upon price at move in and prefer to not always have elevators available to you while moving trucks are unloading other people's stuff. You'll love it!

The facility was clean and depending who was working would depend on how I was treated and what information was provided to me. We are Active Duty Army and as many know, moving with the military is stressful and unpredictable. I had to pay for a full 30 days of storage even though I was told I didn’t need to give notice of my intent to vacate my belongings and only used the storage until for 5 days. I also believe they are HIGHLY overpriced.

There is not prorate or refund for the PROSPECTIVE monthly payment. I paid for 29 days of a unit i did not use and left is clean working condition after paying on time for 14 months. Do not use this company unless you want rude staff and the send money down the drain.

LOVE LOVE my CubeSmart unit at the corner of Park Ave and Interstate 95 in the Five Points area of Jacksonville, Florida. FIRST IS SAFETY. I am constantly in and out of my unit at all hours. It stores my online stores inventory. Not once in a year have I had a negative experience. Of course, no one should ever jump out of their car if they see an unsafe situation cameras or not! I park directly in front of the main doors and am in seconds later. I grab my cart and go up to my unit and have spent up to 3 hours sorting and arranging. No one bothers you, the cameras are rolling and the manager Steve often strolls by to check on you if you are there a while. SECOND IS SPOTLESS CLEAN AND TEMP CONTROLLED!! NOT A SPECK OF TRASH ON THE FLOOR OR PARKING LOT. NO DUST, GRAVEL, DIRT like you find at most outside storage facilities. I also like that they do not allow access to their dumpster keeps things orderly. The office is open until 6 pm. and everyone is very helpful! There are too many positives to this Cube Smart to list and trust me I am super picky. Yes it is priced higher but the value is there. I would never dream of keeping my business inventory in an outside storage unit. It is my living and I cannot risk shoddy storage for clothing, shoes and fashion jewelry especially in Florida heat and humidity. It is a business tax expense write off too. I have seen what poor storage does to possessions. No thank you! I will pay more for peace of mind and safety. Everyone at CubeSmart is friendly, professional, easy to deal with and helpful. They take care of things right away. The bathroom facilities are spotless as well. I was shocked to receive a call from Steve saying I had not fully locked my unit! I found out they walk all 4 floors daily and check units. If you care about your items and want them safe, secure and clean and stored in temp controlled building go see Steve at CubeSmart!

This is my first time at CubeSmart and I absolutely loved the customer service and how easy it made moving all of my belongings. Tori Richardson helped me and she was super sweet and hilarious and made my whole day after the stress of moving. She was the best and is the reason why I would choose cubesmart again!!! The move-in to a storage spot was typical. The part that was peeve worthy was the terrible, in bad taste customer service from the attendant/representative. She was so pressed to get additional sales under her to do, that 1) she lied about the lock she added to the transaction which she charged me for without asking if I needed a lock and/or wanted to purchase one from CS; 2) she lied about needing the dec page from my renter's ins and charged me for CS insurance. The proper way to have gone about it would have been to ask if I needed a lock rather than cutting a pack open and shoving it in front of me then lying that it came with the move-in. Also with a phone, and email I could have had Assurant email her a copy of the dec page to my renter's insurance policy. CS if you hire people who will deal with customer's professionally you will have no problems attracting business through general word of mouth.

Efficient and pleasant. Facility is clean as a whistle and well-lighted. Best I’ve ever seen. I’m adding to this review a year later. These folks have been great to deal with. Ténia and Tori were gracious on my checking out. I recommend this place highly.

I love this place! Ron and Jasmine are just wonderful to work with and they help you in every way they can the units are wonderful their air condition climate control all of your Treasures are kept safe for you I have had units here since it used to be called U Store Yes it's pricey but it's very private very safe and after all you get what you pay for.

Terrible service. The office opened at 9:30 am, and when I arrived at 10:00 am, there was a sign on the door that said they weren't open. About 10 minutes later, a young girl opened the door and was apparently running the place, because there was no other adult around. I called the corporate number and they advised that the managers name was Ernesto Tejada. He was nowhere to be found.

Very good experience from beginning to end! Jasmine was very knowledgeable of the premises , and showed us several options from which to choose. The facility is spotless, and appears to offer a secure place for us to store many of our personal items as well as some of our "collected treasures" from the past several years. We left feeling very comfortable with our decision to lease from this company.

Joyce Doboon was very quick through the setup and there were no "hidden fee's". They do require you buy their insurance for a minimum of $12 a month. Place is clean and there were several people there unloading when I was there unloading my stuff but it still went pretty quick with the number of carts and the elevators.

We have had our storage unit for over a year and have been very pleased. This location is very safe and always clean. The staff has been very helpful. Recently we upgraded to a larger unit and I wanted to compliment J. Gibson who was very professional and helpful in making this change. It took a bit of time to make the changes due to a computer issue, but throughout the process she was friendly, helpful and informative. Just what I like to see in a customer service professional. Just got a unit the other day. Great facility, easy to use and navigate, good prices for climate controlled, really all around positive experience. Worked with Joyce Dobson and she was amazing. Attentive, kind, funny. Made sure I was comfortable and understood how to use the system and gave me all the information I asked for pertaining to my storage choices. A++ true professional and a joy to interact with. Highly recommended. :)

Ron Acree was extremely helpful during both the reservation and leasing process. The facilities look brand new, are clean and easily accessible from both Downtown Jax and Interstate 95.

It feels clean and it's usually not too crowded. 1 star off because the metal carts are very loud when you roll them. So everyone fights over the 2 plastic carts.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Cube smart. Ron and his staff were so kind and helpful. They had the size unit I needed and the price was very good compared to other storage options. Being able to get a unit that is climate controlled was very important to me. If you are needing a storage unit of any size I highly recommend Cube Smart.

I have rented many storage spaces over the years but the best experience and greatest value for the money is definitely with Ron at Cube Smart. I needed a climate control unit and that is all Cube Smart uses and for good reason. Winters are sometimes more humid that summers so placing your valuables in a climate controlled unit is the only sensible way to protect them. Came in the other morning looking for a small storage space to rent. The guy, I believe his name is Ron, was very kind and helpful. He made getting the space easy and was more than happy to show us the sizes. He was very thorough and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for storage. Clean facility, easy to use, convenient carts and all employees have been more then helpful and friendly so far.

From my experience, absolutely the best! Excellent location in Riverside/Jacksonville Fla., convenient access hours, clean, safe, secure and climate-controlled. Excellent staff who can answer any questions and work with customers to provide exactly what they need. Worth every penny!

We have used this facility on several occasions and received efficient and professional service. However, this time, our request was a bit complicated. We love this facility and the people who manage it! They have been so accommodating with our needs, even as they have changed frequently. The storage areas are very clean, secure and well-lit and the staff is extremely helpful. We would never go anywhere else for offsite storage!

First ' walking in was a delight! Professionally greeted with positive attitudes, made me feel welcomed!! Ron (aka) Manager & his Co worker, I apologize I don't remmber her name, "embarrassed". She was my 1st point of contact. I knew Cube Smart Storage was my place to store my belongings after speaking with her in like 5 minutes. The rates are fair, It's well lite , plenty of tight security. Extremely clean inside and out. After my 1st visit to store my belongings, Ron (Manager) called me , he wanted to know if everything was okay with my new unit and if there was anything I needed to let either one in the office know. I mentioned I may need a bigger unit, within minutes I was already moving my belongings. They will not waste anytime assuring your satisfactory. Last thing, don't hesitate to choose this company. They go above and beyond.
