Well, first of all, I would never recommend This facility or recommend anyone to rent a unit from this facility ever in life first of all my experience when I first signed up for a unit I was met with a very rude employee who was working in the office. She was very rude to me and made me almost feel like I didn't even want to rent a unit from that company because of her attitude, but because I was desperate, and in need of somewhere to put my belongings, I had no choice. Secondly, every time I went to this unit to load things into it or to take things out of it, there were never any carts available. They were always locked up in the office even in the evenings after five in the weekends. Every time I came there, the cards were always locked up, making it very hard to move your things in and out of the unit, this was a huge turn off for me and made me want to not even rent from there to begin with, but by that point it was too late third of all every time I came to this facility. It was extremely cold in there. it was colder inside as if it was below 0° then it was outside and it made absolutely no sense. It was very uncomfortable for me to come there and go through my belongings in the storage unit bring things to my storage unit move things out of the storage unit because of the environment being so cold I just couldn't understand it Every time I came there wanted to run out fourth of all the process to enter the elevator to go upstairs to your unit was very inconvenient. Every time I came there I had to enter a code and access code and all of this and wait on the slow elevator making that very inconvenient and making me very regretful that I even got a unit with this facility. Also, I had to clean out my unit because they were rat droppings and roaches that I killed numerous times roaches were in my unit and so I suspect that this facility is rat and roach infested. I had a terrible experience at this company and at this facility and I would never ever in life. Recommend anyone to get a unit there in fact, I would tell you to never consider it go with someone else perhaps Atlantic storage would be better!

I've rented here for years with no issues until June. The 1st time I had an issue, for some reason I was not able to enter due to a technical issue. I had an event to set up and i needed to get my ice tables, tents and other items. Once Tony the new manager was made aware she worked with her DM Stephanie and we were able to get the issue resolved. I have not experienced any rodents or roaches. The facility is always clean. Totally satisfied and very appreciative of their diligence in providing resolution.

Rats everywhere! Stored everything we have in a 15x25 climate controlled unit for 9 months while our home was being built. When we moved everything out, rats had destroyed nearly half of our belongings. Chewed through boxes, peed and pooped on our fabric furniture, etc. Do not use this facility! We brought it up to the manager and they were unphased by it. These units are not cheap either. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where your belongings won’t be ruined.

They have a huge rodent problem I literally left almost everything in there. I’m not wiping down all that piss. The prices are sky-high. My unit wasn’t ready for move-in (despite me calling and asking to verify) and their on-call person never called or showed up. I lost 2 hours of moving helper time and had to pay for 2 more hours the next day. They promised to adjust my rent to fix their error and never did. Also there is a pest problem. Many boxes were chewed and droppings everywhere. For the JAX Baymeadows site - the cure manager is stellar. She is a customer service professional and made my move out simple and stress-free.

The units at this location are well-maintained and I haven't encountered any issues except for below, hence the 3 Star Rating. I caution others to carefully review their rental agreements. It's important to note that they do not offer prorated refunds for payments made over 24 hours ago. Despite being a customer for two years, I was disappointed to discover that there was no flexibility in adhering to the rental agreement. Their policies seem rigid and lack a personal touch. Unfortunately, if you fail to provide notice before your payment, you're left without recourse, and it's evident that they are indifferent to such situations.

Update. I’ve been renting for a while. I went to the unit in December to bring stuff to it and noticed critter poop. I notified the office. Jami informed me that there had been an infestation and offered me a different unit in a different building that is supposed to be new. She said she had a special rate in which it also would not increase over time. She said since I was just charged the old amount would cover January, February, and a little leftover. Well I got charged here in January and already got my bill for February at an increased rate. So nothing she said would happen actually happened. I called and left a message early last week and nobody returned my call….and another week later still no phone call….I will be getting my stuff and going elsewhere. Already found a better rate somewhere else in a brand new facility

I was impressed with the security and Jami the manager was personable, polite, and professional. I parked my enclosed trailer in their secured area and people continued to break in and steal entire vehicles and valuables out of trailers in there. Cubesmart doesn’t take any responsibility for it, you basically pay for a parking spot that will get your trailers/rvs vandalized. I had to quit parking there. If you have valuable trailers with valuable belongings don’t use this place unless you don’t mind getting vandalized. I think they offered insurance but it was too much for what they offered.

Disappointed in the fact that America cannot call a spade a spade; what is wrong with listing the actual price of things! Lured in by 86$ and I pay 106$ for an indoor climate controlled rat toilet. I had an outdoor unit for 2 years before moving here that didn’t gather a collection of rat feces. Other than that I haven’t had any other issues. Just want folks to know what’s up.

Chose the facilty because it was convenient, clean, climate controlled. We rented for almost 1.5 years in between residences. Visited several times to edit and add contents but when we went to retrive or bonging it was clear they had a serious rodent problem which they had not advised us about. We discovered a ton of mouse droppings and evidence of their activity as from the debris. Staff were aware and stated pest control was treating 3 days per week but its clearly not enough! No offers of refund ehen brought to their attention and did not seem to concerned. But you should be!! Mice are everywhere apparently! Very disgusted!

Climate controlled units are not really Climate controlled. The temperature swings back and forth 30 degrees or more depending on the weather. The humidity is totally uncontrolled. This is not a suitable place to keep musical instruments. The price kept going up the longer I had the unit. New customers were paying less than me for the same size unit. There were rats in the building and the hours are inconvenient. There is no staff at the building most of the time so you can get electronically locked out between trips to the unit and the vehicle you are using to move. I would NOT recommend cubesmart to a friend.

We have been using this storage for about 5 months. We barely go to the storage unless we really need something. I happen to go in our storage today after about a month from being there and when I looked up, I saw a rat crawling up the side of the wall from the unit across from me. I told the front desk and they admitted that they were dealing with rats and the exterminator has been coming every week. I have no issues with my unit but this may be a dealer breaker for me. I cannot keep a unit I pay too much money for that has rats. BTW, I just checked my storage pricing, my unit price has went up as well. I was fully unaware that they would start raising your rate. We haven’t even been here a year, smh! I think we will be ending our relationship with CubeSmart.

This facility currently has rats, I have a 10x15 unit that is full of rat feces and urine, many items are ruined. Every time I go in to try to clean my items and move things out I get sick. I would not store my stuff at this facility as management is doing nothing to rectify the situation and cover any of the items that have been damaged such as my couch and mattress. They refuse to even refund me or even offer me a truck without signing something releasing them of all responsibility.

Ease of service. I was able to see unit size online, there was special online promotion, and I was able to fill out paperwork and pay for everything online. Then they set me up on there site and sent me an email with all the info I would need and that my unit was ready to go. This is the second Cubesmart in Jacksonville that I've used over the summer to store college-student stuff. Both times I reserved online and locked in the price. This second time I did everything completely online- it required me to 'buy' a lock and use their insurance, but the convenience was worth it. The first time I provided my own lock, and used my homeowners insurance. Accessing the unit was simple. I felt mostly safe, especially during work hours. This location on Baymeadows felt slightly less secure but I just did not access the unit outside of work hours.

Clean, new storage facilities. I stored my car and belongings for 7 months and had no issues with rodents or ants, which can be a common problem in some areas. I would have given 5 stars but they are a bit pricey, and my monthly rate went up during my stay.

They make storage stress free. Super flexible rental, online reservation and check in system makes it easy to move in on your time outside business hours. But if you ever need help the customer service number and the local store are super helpful! I went to the bay meadow location and we helped by Bryan the service was wonderfully highly recommend

My rv was broken in to. Turns out they've been having problems with theft. I Know of at least 6 vehicles/RVs that have been broken in to in the past few months and that's just from chatting with other customers. The 4 things around my camper were all broken in to or tampered with and the cube smart people never notified me. Clearly they care more about my monthly payment than they do about me or my camper. It's not a safe place if you care about your vehicle.

Great service, easy process. Needed to find a storage place at the last minute, the manager Brian was very helpful with finding the right storage unit. The prices are fair, especially for the tidiness of the facility. The facility is very clean and organized and feels very secure. You'll get offered a truck if you need one to help you move as well as dollies and other moving supplies. I would recommend going here if you're in need of a nice storage unit at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, after 1.5 months storing my belongings at this baymeadows rd location I am already having severe moisture and mold issues. I luckily tried to find a sweater in one of my luggages and ended up finding several pieces of clothes damaged by mold. The clothes inside the luggage were totally humid, literally wet and already affected by fungus. Tried to wash them 2 times using hot water but the stains and smell didn’t go away so I had to throw them away. I emailed the manager addressing the issue and he asked me to buy dampRid and also assured the facility is moisture controlled. This dampRid costs $10 per bucket.. So, how much I will end up spending to keep the integrity of my belongings in a 7.5x10 storage, plus the monthly costs plus the mandatory insurance? If in less than 2 months I’m having this issue I can imagine how the rest of my 1b/1b furniture and belongings is going to look when I unwrap and inspect them. Very disappointing and frustrating!

This location should update their website. Their site boasts that they have a free truck available for new renters to use to transport their belongings to CubeSmart. They do not. They will not even let you use one from their closest location. I just began my rental so my experience is limited to first impression. The Baymeadow location seems clean. The lighting can be disconcerting because it does not come on until you're halfway down a hallway trying to find your unit.

Jasmine and Kyle were great! The person who made my reservation put me in incorrectly (not CubeSmarts fault) but they figured it out and we all had a good laugh. Kyle showed me my unit and even offered other options. When we came back to load the next day, Jasmine came out and gave us water which was super sweet and very much needed. The staff here has been so helpful and this facility is secure and clean.

This and another location I've been to, are always clean, everything looks good. Security cameras are a plus. My two storage units were ready and clean.I would rent storage from this location again. AJ made this a quick and easy transaction and double checked that my code worked and walked me to the storage unit to put the lock on it. This was a great customer experience.

What a pleasant experience! I had to store some things at a moment's notice and the whole process couldn't have gone smoother. Mike was absolutely wonderful over the phone and in person - very polite, friendly, full of information and help. The facility is nice and clean (including the bathroom!) with easy access to tools to help move items in and out. I DEFINITELY reccommend this location, I cannot think of one flaw.

I was impressed with Cube Smart, it is very clean, secure and easily accessible from Phillips highway. Kennisha was amazing, very friendly and professional, she also provided me with all of the information I would need. The reason I initially chose Cube Smart is because they were the only storage I found that actually had lockers for rent, I didn't have a lot to store and did not want to pay the price for a large unit. I am very pleased with my choice.

I wouldn't recommend this storage unit unless your on the first floor. Mine was on the second floor and there is only one elevator so it took forever to move my stuff out.

This location off baymeadows was not close to my home at all....HOWEVER.....I absolutely couldn't refuse choosing this local due to staff and how I was treated....Kenesha the one who was my first impression of cube smart couldn't have improved her game one bit!! She treated me with respect and was glad to show me around to the units of choice...she also made me feel secure in the fact that I was making good business choices and walked me through those choices...hands down the best!!

First off, Mike (or is Mark?) was just overall accommodating and super helpful. Our business already had a account setup with them on the account we receive a lot of supplies/materials...each time we have a tractor trailer truck come in with a supply order he and his crew is so cool and nice about us taking up half the entryway....sorry guys. But seriously, we had a surplus of materials and I needed another storage unit. Mike checked the system and got us a storage unit that was one down from our existing one. He explained the policies and was just overall really chilled about the fact that he had to special accommodate our arrangements. Thank you so much for being so awesome!

The staff and management at bay meadows are terrific however the upper management need to get there act together. I had to drive 5 1/2 hours to sign papers which in this day and age is absolutely absurd. I bought a condominium and used docu sign never having to leave my house.

Have been with the #6582 Baymeadows cubesmart since 2014. Staff has always been courteous and helpful. The facility is well- kept, security monitors always active, very clean and climate control is great for my older electronic devices I have stored. The collection of flatbed trolleys made moving my household into the unit a breeze!

I have rented multiple storage units from Cube Smart on Baymeadows. They have always been helpful in choosing the right units, have always been good on working with me on the price and has made the task much easier than I ever expected. I always find the location convenient and clean. I would recommend the bottom floor as the top floor even though environmentally controlled, gets warm in the summer. Not to the extent that your items are in jeopardy, just noticeably warmer than the first floor -- but you will pay more on the first floor, so in some cases I am sure that is a factor. I have used both floors and have no issues - I just watch what I put on the first floor and second floor. I try to work with Samantha when I can as she is tops in my book, but when I have had the occasion to work with others, they have all been great to work with.

This storage location is very neat place. I kept our furniture and other items for around four months. And now started using more than three weeks. Didn't have any bedbugs or other bugs. Staff also friendly. In addition you get first month free, with no strings attached (like required minimum three months contracts). So, if you are planning to store just for a month, you get it for free except admin fee and insurance.
