I just moved into the Kernan Blvd CubeSmart location yesterday. While there seem to be endless choices for storage in Jacksonville, I am hopeful I have found one where I can settle. The staff is tremendous and conscientious - with a special appreciation for Vin - who welcomes you when you first arrive. He is so very vested, I asked if he actually owned the facility? He laughed and said no, but he cares that much about your experience. The place is spotless and even if you are utilizing the upper floors - both elevators are kept in solid working order. I mention this because the last place I used had two elevators but one was broken the day I came in and was still broken when I left four months later when they wanted to double my storage fee. Storage is a tricky game and I have not utilized one previously. My experience with this CubeSmart has exceeded my expectations and every person I met while I loaded my property into the unit were similarly pleased. Rent with confidence. This is a good location and a tremendous crew.

Don't rent from Cube Smart on Keirnan. They hound you constantly if 1 day late, like they're desperate and losing business. They lost mine, paid for the full month, moved out 10days early.....NO REFUND for the unused time and they rented it out right away. Scam that they kept my money.

The staff has always been absolutely amazing and helpful. My unit was on the second floor indoor and I went to check on my stuff on 6/20. Unfortunately, there were rats that jumped on me and rat feces everywhere in my unit. I filed an insurance claim because they cause over $4,000 dollars worth of damage on my personal items. A helpful tip rodent damage is not covered in the policy you pay monthly. If you have pricey items at this location I would highly suggest go check on your stuff before it's to late and may be out a lot of money. The units have a rodent infestation and you could be out thousands of dollars. The rats jumped over into the unit next to mine as well. I took all my stuff out that day and cancelled my contract at this location due to the rodents.

Lighted interior and ease of access elevated the score. Unexpected rate increases, with notifications by snail mail only rather than email left only three weeks notice before the effective increase. That cost a star. They send bills and exit survey by email but not rate increases. Easy fix if management chose to do so.

I was not provide an increase info until I got a notification of my invoice. I tried speaking to the manager of the storage to keep the price after 6 months as they do an crease which is not mention when you sign for the first time. They had a lot of empty units offering for a lower rate that I had and all I was asking was to not have my rate change or decrease stated no. Also the location has a roach issue I would not recommend to anyone poor cause.

The unit was fine. The place is brand new. However, pricing was deceptive. I rented storage units before from other companies and the price was close to that advertised. But here, there was a $60 difference between the ad and the actual bill. For example, i had to buy a barrel lock that can only be bought there, although I didn't use it. I also had to get insurance. I was disappointed and very frustrated.

This facility, more specifically, KRIS... is charging a full additional month for paying the bill for storage ON THE DUE DATE?! .. not late, but ON the DUE DATE... the facility manager will not grant access to remove the items, ON THE DUE DATE?!... so they are basically MAKING us pay an additional month of storage that's not needed in order to get our items ON THE ACTUAL DUE DATE. ... again, not after, but ON the due date

Dottie B was great from the start answering all my questions and even showing me their different sized units. I did compare to other storage facilities in the area and none of them had any 20X10 units or if they did it was two 10X10 units side by side or the price was not comparable to CubeSmart. Decided to get to my unit earlier than the reservation date and Kris S was kind to share current specials that would save me even more money. It was also nice of him to take me to see the exact that I would be renting and once done the contractual process only took 15 mins. I would recommend this business to anyone needing a safe place to store valuable personal or business assets.

We needed a place for a few months while our house is being built and I chose this CubeSmart based upon price, not knowing much about it at all. It was s great decision because everyone here is wonderful and so helpful. The place is new and so clean!! Service is spectacular. We had to get something at the back of our unit and Scott helped my husband pull half of things out, find what he needed and then reorganize even better. Chris and Dottie also helped get us organized and helped give us some reassurance during a stressful time. Thank you!

Saturday 3/6 around 5:15 I came to this facility not realizing that they closed at 5pm on Saturday’s Kristopher was still on site and even though the store was closed he took the time to talk to me and show me a few different units I will be relocating to Jacksonville permanently next month and I will definitely be renting here.
