CubeSmart offers competitive storage rates and a variety of options. However, not all locations are equal. If you choose CubeSmart for your storage needs, I would urge you to explore other locations that may be managed differently. I would not describe the team here as customer-centric. It felt like you were dealing with a robotic process and your business, even with multiple units, is nothing more than an account number to them.

Exit gate broken “we are supposed to be getting it fixed this year”. Leftover trash from the sheet rock install was left in my unit upon move in. Narrow passage ways it gets clogged up if busy. Good rates and discounted first month. Contactless easy move in.

I needed a temporary solution while living in a smaller apartment to store some camping gear, tools, and craft show displays. Cubesmart made it quick and easy to get a unit, the lock was waiting for me, all I had to do was move in. To move out, I just needed to make a quick phone call, and I received my move-out statement via email the day after we vacated. Units were clean and easy to access.

My experience with CubeSmart and their employees here in Tampa it has been amazing. Any questions I have or concerns they take care of it as soon as it’s possible. I was in a bigger storage unit and yesterday I decided to change to a smaller storage unit and it was a very easy fix on the system and smooth change. They were helpful and patience with me. Horrible customer service!. I was rented a unit that was "climate controlled" Ashley came after i paid to the unit located across the street. (Office staff) Upon us arriving and walking into the hottest indoor unit I've ever been in, she informed me that the AC was broke and it would be repaired. I talked to corporate and they informed me the office would move my unit at no additional cost because of the intense heat. A few days later, (my first day off work) I go to get my unit moved and the entire staff including the store manager was beyond rude. I was very patient being under the assumption they were gonna move my unit. They didn't. They tried to charge me extra fees to move the unit that's beyond 80 degrees to a new unit. They were very disrespectful and have no common courtesy. The manager needs to be taught how to talk and address customers. I recommend you never rent from these people. There's no lights in the units and don't even attempt to move a couch in due to the low ceilings.

Opened an account to move in on Dec 17th. Had a different circumstance come up and when I wanted to cancel my payment, was unable to hear back from store manager over 2 weeks. Finally heard back from the general manager & told me store manager refused to refund me since I didn’t call to cancel within the 3 days grace period. Even tho store manager didn’t get back to me in over 2 weeks. Ridiculous. Never doing business with Cubesmart ever again.

So greedy about there payments, constantly calling about payments a week before, a day before, a day after. You miss payment they Harassing about putting a lien on the unit plus paying a 110 fee like if the payment is months without payment. Just ridiculous. Don’t storage your stuff here to stress.

elevator was down since 15 days . The new general Manager was curt and boasting that he has done so much ever since he took over. Even after knowing I am a senior citizen and no one to help , No empathy or intension to at least check to see if grace time can be extended . He said he is within the contract. Such behavior is very unsatisfactory . The other staff were nice in the past but could not help in this issue. With great hardship I vacated even without elevator . Had enough.

This is my 2nd time renting from them. First time i rented climate controlled no problem this time rented a pull up unit non climate. When I was moving out ive seen rat droppings on my couch table etc. They chewed my mattresses pillows. I would recommend climate controlled. Very dirty and run down. Ac Storage is hardly at a good temperature. Lights are busted, Siding is coming off the walls with screws poking out, Holes are all over the place. Major safety hazard if you have little ones with you. This place is 30 years old from what i hear and Cube Smart does not put any money really back into the place. They built a new one right up the road like 10 miles and it's perfect, just wish they put more time and money into the older ones like this place. Since just because it is 30 years old, does not mean it has to look like it is 30 years old.

I have been a customer for 3 years. I have slowly been able to reduce the storage items and contacted Chris about moving to a smaller space. One came open and we moved. When I went to complete the paperwork I was quoted a price considerably higher than the one I confirmed with the company only one week earlier. I was told only Chris could take care of the issue and he was out until tomorrow. Hopefully all will be resolved satisfactorily

They were open Saturday 9/9/17, which is one day before the hurricane slammed into my house. I really appreciated them helping me find a fast storage shed so I could protect my belongings during the hurricane. They went above and beyond they're normal excellent service

This a great storage facility with great staff as well. We needed a temporary storage unit as we settled into Tampa and this place was affordable, secure, convenient, and clean. Chris is an awesome manager-professional, responsive, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this facility if you need storage in north Tampa.

If you're looking for a great storage facility, then CubeSmart Self Storage is the place to go. When I entered the office, I was greeted by Bob. He was friendly, informative, explained all my options, and drove me in the golf cart to my storage unit. He showed me how to open and lock it up to make sure my unit would be securely safe. The units are clean and climate controlled. I would highly recommend CubeSmart to store your belongings.

Bob is an awesome manager and he's very interested, he recognized me after seeing me 7 months later! He took good care of our stuff, somehow got pesticides in and after 7 months in hot Florida, we had no bugs, everything as clean as we put it. The rest of his staff is pretty helpful and kind too. Secure and clean, just like you need it.

The manager Chris was a pleasure to do business with. It was incredibly easy to get the storage unit I wanted. Made a phone call, got it reserved, showed up an hour later and I had keys to the unit within 20 minutes. I only need it for a month but the next time I need another unit, CubeSmart will be my choice.

I reserved the unit online and the process was seamless. I called with clarifying questions and Chris was knowledgeable and friendly. My husband was able to borrow their truck to move out belongings and had nothing but great things to say about Bob. The facility is cleaned and well-maintained.

Will never ever use again! They don't give you the option to opt into insurance, so its an additional $12.99/mo., the mgr is very lazy, I just got done telling them I was ill and he walked away having me load in 8 cardboard boxes I just purchased from them for $5.49 a piece. The manager lied about the free truck and told my mover that it would be $40 plus mileage to borrow so I had to pay for a uhaul. They wouldn't meet half way by comping a month, said oh no we can't do that! Refused to satisfy thier mistakes! Don't waste your time on these crooks!

The Best Storage Experience EVER!!! We been with this storage for over two months now and the service is awesome. One of the property managers, Bob, is always looking after our needs, friendly, diligent and with a big smile that makes you feel comfortable and with the peace of mind that you need when using this type of service. Bob and Chris are two two best guys CubeSmart has ever hired. They bend over backwards to make sure that all customers are content. If they ever left to go with someone else (competitor) I would move my storage to wherever they go. They are truly big assets to the CubeSmart team.

I recently moved from NY to FL and downsized my living space in half. On move in day I realized I needed a storage unit immediately. I came here and met with Bob who is an amazing man. He really cares about his customers and helped me out in so many ways. He not only allowed me 48 hours of full access to the unit to unload my boxes but he went above and beyond and offered me the use of a large unit to get rid of stuff so that I could move my things into the smaller unit that I could afford. I cannot begin to describe how remarkable the service is here. The property is also extremely clean and I feel that my belongings are very safe here because they check each units lock twice a day and have a great security system. Overall I was absolutely blown away by their service and very fortunate and pleased with them. I would recommend using this storage facility to anyone. Thank you again!!!

Today, my husband and I went in and got a storage unit. Bob helped us, he was great! Fair prices and AWESOME customer service! We were offered a free truck but it wouldn't be available when we needed it but that wasn't a problem at all. Very happy with them.

I know Chris from public storage and recently lost my job. Since I had to move on short notice I called him immediately for storage. He helped me every step of the way. I got an amazing price for a unit and a free truck. When I got there the property was very clean and the can tell that they keep up with the maintaince of the buildings. Bob was also very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for storage. There pricing is very fair and the property is kept up. Also Chris and Bob are the best. Thanks again guys!!
