Today which is a Sunday (and a blazing hot day in Florida) when the facility’s office is closed - I had an issue to sync the latch in order to put the lock back on for my storage unit. I called customer service and the gentleman tried to assist but it did not budge. Next he told me to go and scan the URL code to get assistance from the webcam department but he was able to get them in the phone instead. I spoke with Karma in the Texas region and she explained that I may need to pull the latch up versus down the way that I was doing it didn’t work but doing it that way it worked immediately. I was very impressed with her patience and professionalism. I did not get the customer service representative’s name but they were both helpful. I hope that they are acknowledged for their service.

Major roach issue! Everytime I went to my storage unit I would always see at least one or two roaches roaming the hallway. The day I moved my stuff out there were 5 dead roaches in the hallway and one that was still alive. All of my belongings had roach droppings on it. I complained to the office and all the manager could tell me was that they couldn’t do anything about it if there was no damage to my property and her only excuse was “oh maybe the other units are storing food.” And they also raised my rent by $15 with no notice. Do not rent a unit here. Disgusting place.

I have had a unit with this location for about a year or more give or take. Upon initial move in I was offered a promotion of “First Month Free” or 25% Off the Monthly Rent. Considering I knew that I wasn’t a short term renter I chose the 25% OFF monthly rent. Ever since I have moved into the unit which was drive up access and the biggest size they offered I had issues with the sliding bay door, it would get stuck and I would be unable to close the door in order to secure my possessions and this was just the beginning. I brought it to the attention of what I believed to either be maintenance or management several times only for them to brush it off. Never once did I ever make a big deal I just dealt with it then fast forward to the most recent issue which is the ultimate reason for this review but I went to my unit soon after the new year and found that “Rats or Mice” had completely ransacked I would say around 65% of the merchandise that I had stored at this location. My initial reaction was to chalk it up to the game and continue on with business as usual. It wasn’t until i was completely blindsided with an email stating that an amount of $467.00 was due for my monthly bill in which I had been paying $367.00 a majority of my lease. Be Mindful the $467.00 was the 2nd raise on rent since move in and AFTER THE 25% PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNT WHICH I WAS TOLD EXTENDED OUT UNTIL I LEFT!! So if you do the math I went from paying $367/Month after the 25% Discount equivalent to $458.75 to a whopping $467 after discount of what is supposed to be 25% so $583.75 a month is what they raised the rent too blindsiding me a $125 increase immediately after their lack of abiding by a contract that states that they will periodically take appropriate measures to combat pest. Which in my opinion at almost $600 a month they should be able to afford hiring a maintenance staff that could have eliminated my issues all together. Instead cube smart could care less about the thousands of dollars that I had to eat due to their negligence along with several other words I could use to describe their poor quality of business in every aspect. After having a perfect payment history for the length that I have with them you think they would have reached out when the monthly bill wasn’t paid to maybe ask me if everything was okay? Instead I’ve gotten constant daily phone calls along with emails to “Remind” me that I now owe $900 and some change. No longer will I be writing off not only my experiences I have had with this specific location nor the monetary losses that I’ve endured. Thanks to your customer relations and retention.

We went to Cubesmart Self Storage not expecting too much, but from the moment the woman who must manage the place, or at least should, we felt welcome and secure. The storage there is PERFECT!! They have both air conditioned and outside units. We were looking for a place to store some furniture that had to be kept cool but also one that would fit our 12.5' Kayaks. It was a perfect fit with room to spare. The ceilings in the unit we rented on the spot (after bringing over a kayak to make sure it fit, they are 15'!! The A/C is cooler than I keep at home and it is tucked away where no one will bother you at all. Safe neighborhood.

The service online was great and the signing up in person was under 5 minutes, easy. Time was not taken to check that the light switch was broken or the the bolt to the lock was broken as well to the point that no matter what lock you put on the the door, you could've used a pocket knife to break into the unit! The door is so flimsy, a crowbar would suffice to open the bottom portion of the door or even through the vent. No wonder you charge for insurance instead of replacing the doors or the bolt system. Sad.

The staff at this location is very efficient and competent in their work. The general manager there Naurel goes over and above to help everyone that walks through the office. She listens to people carefully and puts together a comprehensive plan and package to ensure the customer is satisfied and happy. I paid my bill yesterday and came today and there is a lock on my storage unit as if I hadn’t paid. They have nobody to contact until 9:30am. I am here at 7am- So I am left unable to get my tools for work for 2 and a half hours. Somebody there has made a big mistake to wrongfully lock my unit and give tenants no way to reach anybody. Now almost $400 dollars of my business revenue has vanished plus paying 2 guys almost 3 hours of payroll to sit and wait for a CubeSmart mistake. Costly mistake I am hoping Cubesmart corporate can fix. Now the uphill battle begins to try to get ahold of someone of authority [in corporate]- then to hope this individual understands how HUGE of a issue and concern this is to wrongfully take a tenants possessions under lock and key. Compensation for revenue loss and cost of crew waiting for the office to open is the only remedy to this occurrence. Wish me luck!

Been renting here for over a year and I never saw this before, Naurel the GM outdoors plucking weeds, sweeping the yard, picking up nails and inspecting the facility doors. I have been here for over 4 years, great place to store what you can't have living in a condo.. great prices. I do alot of thigs at my unit that I would do in my garage if I had one.. no one ever complains about it witch makes me happy, the workers are very nice and helpfull they always ride around to make sure everything is ok around the unit. Sometimes the gate is stuck open and thats the only issue I have. Other than that its a great place and I recommend it!
