This was our 2nd time using CubeSmart for storing our household items while in transition, and we have decided it's the only place we will ever consider if needed again! Our latest rental, in Merritt Island, FL, did not disappoint. Using the website to research and secure the unit we needed, then the ability to finalize the rental agreement made the process seamless and worry free. Everyone friendly and helpful with one unresolved major issue in my opinion. When I arrived to my rented spot for my RV, the unit next to mine was taking up half of my space making it impossible to fit my RV into its space. It was an accumulation of each of the previous RV for about 8 spaces, each taking a little more than allotted which accumulated to the one next me being 1/2 into my space. Evidently the spaces really aren’t big enough to allow any space between units. Had to temporarily park in another spot that we don’t know is already rented. Will have to go back after holidays to get it resolved and then make another trip over there to hook up and move unit again. Quite a hassle!!

i went there because i saw online it was “first month free+up to 25% off.” however when i got there that wasn’t the case even after showing them what i saw online. i did still get the storage only because the guy that sold me the unit was very knowledgeable and had no problem taking me to view the size i was questioning. but i’m still upset because i felt online was advertising false sales

Rented the storage online, it was very smooth and very fast. Received all the paper work and all the instructions in my email. The storage space was ready almost right away. The online reservation was easy. I could access the storage room as soon as everything was set up. They had a new lock waiting for me. They even took the time to trim off one side of the lock package so I didn’t need scissors to open it. There was covered parking so I didn’t get wet while unloading my truck. Nice sized dolly made moving my stuff go quickly. The man in the office was friendly.

I needed a short term, small storage unit that wasn't too expensive. Cube smart was a good as it just the right size, and wasn't too expensive. The entry way is a little funky to get in the 1st time, but once you go there once it's easy to find. The location is very central to a lot of areas on the Space Coast. The front desk clerk was very helpful and very friendly. Overall a very good experience.

I had a really positive experience using CubeSmart. The unit itself was very clean and the premises on the whole are kept very tidy and it felt secure. There are rat traps to keep the riff raff out, too, a problem I had at a competing storage company nearby (Bennett) so CubeSmart is well ahead of pest issues. Each time I interacted with the staff they were prompt, polite and professional and would recommend to anybody looking for a storage unit in the area.

Amazing customer service. I forgot to lock my unit...within a couple hours management contacted me and advised me that my unit wasn't secure. Not often does a business show that much attention to detail . Thankfully I was able to get there the next morning and lock the unit properly, it was nice knowing someone wasn't simply storing my property and collecting payment...they genuinely care. Exceptionally clean. My one suggestion is to have 2 carts for moving property to and from the storage unit and car at the banana road annex location.

My husband and I own a hotshot company and we were there for work but decided to explore the place a couple of days. We drove by and called to ask if we could rent a space so we could leave the 30ft trailer so that it would be easier to drive around town for us, all the staff that we encountered was super friendly and helpful. We got sent to the location where they keep the large items stored and it’s very safe and staff there was awesome as well. I will definitely go back if i go back to that area.

HONESTLY ITS CHEAPER TO TO GET APARTMENT OR HOUSE INSURANCE THEN IT IS TO GET THEIR INSURANCE. PLUS THEY CAN GO UP ON THE STORAGE ANYTIME THEY WANT, THEY WENT UP ON MINE IN 6 MONTHS WITH A BIG HIKE. Very nice Staff. Lots of training going on but overall, easy space rental. They should mention about the $24 Admin initial fee and the $1 monthly admin fee in advance. I always feel as though those type fees makes me believe that the business is trying to hide something. How about just raising the price of the unit just a bit to cover those fees if you really need them, which I don't believe that you do. Then I would feel as though you are being more sincere.

If I could give NO STARS I would. So i was a month late and was given a 205$ LEAN FEE. When I was told that would only happen after two months. I paid my balance of 319$ on a Sunday 4/7/19, and the manager had me sign my vacancy documents for the 4/10/19 on that same day. I have a copy. And because I left the lock on by accident, WITH THE COMBO CODE ON THE LOCK, I get a call on 4/12/19 from the manager saying I owe a balance for leaving the lock on the unit, because I didnt let them know I vacated??? SHE HAD ME SIGN MY PAPERS TO VACATE THE PREVIOUS SUNDAY so my next month wouldn't start on the 11th. So instead of calling me on the 10th or the 11th to get the lock off or tell her she had my permission to remove it ON A RECORDED LINE, she calls me on the 12th trying to tell me I owe a small balance because I left it on and I have to pay that balance. YET SHE ALSO SAID THE EARLIER SUNDAY I WOULD BE IN VIOLATION IF A LOCK WAS NOT ON MY UNIT. Yet she tells me we always call on the 3rd day late... Yet it's the day after... When I asked why she didnt call me sooner, she stuttered and tried to say that she wasnt obligated to call me? I told her I already signed my papers for release and I had a copy and she said that I didn't and that "Even of you did, it doesn't matter". Her exact words, hinting that YES I DID, BUT MONEY IS WHAT WE WANT...Unbelievable. DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE ITS A CORPORATE COMPANY NICKLE AND DIMING PEOPLE. And to think I got warned by a friend who leased, before I took the unit and didnt listen. Was with them for a long time almost 4 years and then they just doubled my units price no warning or anything highly disappointed To answer to your reply I understand that the rates may fluctuate but doubling the rate when I'm really only supposed to be paying for a $79 unit and I'm paying almost 130 after all your fees and it's fine I found a better unit in a different place for even cheaper I pay 60 a month now for a bigger unit

Clean facility; easy to navigate the grounds, friendly and professional staff. Be prepared to pay extra when you arrive, as insurance coverage is required, which is extra money for them. Other local storage companies don't charge insurance. Other issue, some units qualify for 50% off first month, others qualify for one month free, still others, don't qualify. It all depends on unit availability when you arrive. Know before you go.

Clean secure facility in a convenient, central location with very good customer service. We have had the same unit in a climate control section for about 5+ years now. The only thing I’d say I don’t like is the temperature in that building. It feels rather warm to be considered a climate controlled building. While I haven’t actually taken a temperature reading, it consistently feels like it’s around 80 degrees, which to me is too warm, especially if you’re moving boxes or furniture around.

Excellent customer service - April is wonderful - patient, kind and caring. I recently lost my husband and need to store items while selling my house. April guided me through the process with caring, concern and compassion. The facility is clean, AC climate appropriate and extremely well maintained.

I don't know why storage places get away with being so shady. You reserve a unit online and it gives you a price but by the time you have your unit the price has had other stuff tacked on to it. <br>This place is overpriced. They forced me to purchase overpriced insurance after I tried resisting multiple times. The lady at the counter tried to tell me the monthly price i had was a promotional off and would only last so many months. She couldn't tell me how many month my no they price would last but she could certainly force extra not needed insurance only me

I have been at cube smart for almost 2 months now and I’m not very happy . I had a 10x20 unit and we had rats get in our stuff do to another unit storing food , I had to toss my bed mattress 800$ pillows 100$ shoes 200$ towels and clothes $$$$ and everything was boxed taped and wrapped in plastic . I was paying 200$ for the 10x20 now I moved to a 10x10 unit to get away from the rat problem and have lost 1/2 my stuff now to pay 180$ . I am not happy with cube smart at all .

No longer live and the area and have no way to make an online payment. They will not accept payment unless in full and wasted 2 hours driving earlier this month to make a partial October 24th payment. I show up today, November 25th to pay my current payment and my 30 day late payment in full, but to my demise they already assessed a over a $100 lien fee and just cut the lock off just briefly before i arrived. And now even though i have my rent fees in full, I am denied yet again to my storage unless I pay over $100 for a lien fee for my payment being 30 days late. BEWARE late fees are one thing, these guys will sell your stuff on day 32.

Anise, one of the ladies up front has horrible customer service-made me feel totally unwelcome. Twice have come late after working all day and found the door locks broken so I couldn't get into the building.

A very clean place! The general manager April is outstanding, she helped me find a safe place for my nana's things! April was very knowledgable and patient with me. I did shop around after, but all the other places were pretty dirty and the staff was rude. Especially public storage! This place is expensive...but its the best place in Merritt Island to store with! You get what you pay for. I never write reviews but April is by far the nicest storage professional in Brevard. Thank you April!

Cubesmart has a really great, accommodating, and knowledgable staff. It was very easy to get our storage unit. Only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because there were a few hidden fees that didn't come up until we showed up needing a unit. One fee was the insurance policy that you have to have on your unit. Most home owners and renters insurances cover this but in order to not have to pay for it Cubesmart needs the Declarations page. Was unaware of this until I got there so had to pay for at least a month of insurance which still wasn't to bad only like $15. The other fee that I didn't realize is that you need to bring your own lock. Again not a big expense just would have been nice to know.

I'm writing to express my appreciation for Mike C. Horn. I've had a storage unit there for many years and since he has been there I have felt much safer keeping my stuff there. Whenever I'm there I always seem to run into him and he always is a genuinely a nice guy. Any issues I've had he's immediately addressed. Also the storage facility seems to be a nicer cleaner place since he (Mike), has been there. I appreciate what your facility had to offer and the high quality staff you have with Mark and Braynt. I have been a CubeSmart customer for a few months now. The property manager Mark Horn has been a tremendous help in all aspects. He knows the facility inside and out. I wasn't sure what size unit to get when I first came to the facility. He helped me decide which one would be the best for me not based on price but based on my needs. Mark went out of his way to help me move my stuff into my unit. The facility is one of the best in the area. I have looked at others and none of them are as clean and well kept as CubeSmart. I have referred friends and i will continue to do so. Mark was very professional and friendly and helped me get exactly what i needed to move into my unit. So Thank you Mark Horn and CubeSmart for providing a professional, safe, clean and friendly atmosphere for me.
