I don’t live locally, almost 3 hours away and I made a reservation to secure a spot for my 36 feet travel trailer a day prior. Booked a 40 feet space which was perfect for me and at a good price. Victoria called the next day questioning why I needed that space as if I needed permission and then proceeded to tell me someone parked in the spot that I RESERVED. I was informed that their location doesn’t offer online lease signing even though other cubesmarts offer this feature and that I had to drive 3-hours to sign a lease with no guarantee of where my trailer would be placed. Victoria didn’t seem to care that I was being inconvenienced. I was then offered an unpaved space in a ditch that cost more than the reservation per month. What’s the point of a reservation if you aren’t going to guarantee it. Bottom line, if you aren’t local don’t make a reservation with them if you want them to honor what you need.

Our unit sustained roof damage causing water damage to our furniture. We were initially told that repairs were underway. We settled our claim for our damages & then found further leaking. Meanwhile we received a post card notifying us of a rate increase of nearly $100/month. I inquired about the repairs & they stated they did not know when this would take place & recommended that we use a tarp & keep our belongings out of the back of the storage area. The electrical entrance key pad isn’t grounded properly & shocks you every time you press a button. This was prior to Ian & they are aware.

Major security issues. New owners same crime problem. Management needs to be changed since theft is still a major issues at this location. There are 2 gaping holes in the fence where thieves can simply walk right in once the location is closed for the night. Management knows this and does nothing to fix the problem. The police officer that took my report told me that they are there every week for theft and that I should move out and never look back.

The day before Hurricane Ian I needed to find an indoor space to park my brand new car. We were expecting 15-20 ft storm surge and I didn't want to take a chance. We had a great RV parking experience. No issues. Staff was friendly. We will consider them again when the need arises. We stayed again and had an equally good experience. Our RV survived Hurricane Ian without water or projectile damage which was a pleasant surprise. Again no vandalism and catalytic converter remained attached.

Both of our waverunners are parked outside and were securely covered at this location. I was notified by the Manager today they were both basically stripped of parts by someone. So much for 24 hour surveillance! Looks like they had been “shopping” for awhile (not just an overnight thing) so guessing they don’t monitor what goes on within the property. There is a chain link fence surrounding the property only which anyone can just jump right over it. Will be filing a complaint with the corporate office, don’t recommend storing anything outside here!

Was wonderful when Mike owned it...had two unnoticed increases in last 4 months.. most recent last week 30 dollars. I'm on social sec and a small pension. I have no place to move it. This place was 5 star. Would not recommend. Also I have had rodent problems...lost a couple hundred dollars in items...they put out a mouse trap...go figure.. This was a great place...Vicky is wonderful in the front office...Mike do you have any other places. You were an honorable man. I reserved a smaller unit this morning online at the Littleton Rd, N Fort Myers location. Brad immediately called me to verify. I went in several hours later and Brad was fast, extremely knowledgeable, and sincerely friendly. He showed me the unit (which was exactly what I was looking for) and explained the gate code system. I was unloading my car at the unit in less than 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone needing extra storage!

Signing up was very easy. Brad explained my rental agreement in a concise and professional manner. He then took me to where my storage unit. He showed me the inside. The following day I went to move my items into a 5' by 5' by. 8' storage unit ! At my house I put my storage items into what would become a 5 by 5 by 8 foot area. I rented a truck took my items and found the storage unit was not 5 by 5 by 8 but approximately 5' by 4' by 8'. I ended up having to take items back home. Not to happy. Spoke the following day to CSR nothing they could do. Just wish that they would have said don't go by the size that's on the contract.

I needed short term climate controlled storage…researched online and found excellent reviews for the CubeSmart Self Storage on Littleton Road in Fort Myers FL. John & Brad were in the office the day that I rented. I had called the main number for CubeSmart Self Storage to make my initial reservation. The Littleton office called me back almost immediately to confirm the reservation. I was unfamiliar with Fort Myers, and called a couple of times during the drive there. I was patiently and cheerfully given directions. Both Brad and John were exceptionally efficient, personable and helpful. Patient… :) as it took me a couple of times to get the gate and entrance door keypad combinations correct. Neither of them showed any irritation at coming outside into the Florida heat to walk me through it a couple of times. I’m unused to the Florida heat and humidity, and during unloading my entire Jeep after coming cross country…went into the office to ask if there were water anywhere that I could fill my water bottle with. I was told that the faucet water wasn’t the best…and was handed 2 bottles of cold water out of their refrigerator. Exceptionally kind. The climate controlled storage unit was cool, dry and clean. The cost exceptionally reasonable. The hours of access are excellent. They had a few packing supplies in the office, and that was helpful as well. Overall this was an excellent experience. John and Brad are exceptional human beings, on top of providing exceptional professional assistance. I won’t be back to Florida again, but if I require a storage facility elsewhere, the bar has been set high. Thank you for providing such a fine facility, CubeSmart Self Storage …and for the best on-site customer service experience ever. Appreciated!!

I dropped a 26' Penske rental truck and car carrier (a lot of money) off at this location after hours. I contacted the office to get a receipt or confirmation on my drop-off a few days later and the older guy that answered the phone was a real JERK! I have used this facility for inside and outside storage since 2008 and I love it!
