Looked online at several places, cubesmart appeared to be the better one near where I am going to be living. Went in and Amir was there and ready to help. Great service and nice guy. Walked me thru a couple of units and went thru the rental process step by step. Outlined the fees and explained everything completely. The experience from beginning to end exceeded my expectations for a storage rental facility. I only reserved one 10x20 unit not knowing my true needs but after seeing that I needed 4 truckloads to clear my home in a panic I asked the manager if he had an additional unit available. While I was unloading my truck rental he went back to the office right away to start the process to secure another unit in the same row. After seeing that I had a need for a third unit again the manager quickly secured another 10x20 next to my second unit. The manager was implemental in making the situation less stressful and a smooth process.

So, this is going to be long but must be said, I'll start with the basics, the entire location is very clean, feels secure and safe with a front security gate to get in and out. Customer service is what I really want to talk about though, my situation was a bit weird as I took over my sisters storage unit after she passed. I live states away in MN and the entire staff at this cubesmart location was always so nice and helpful! I finally was able to fly out to move her stuff out and the whole trip was full of snags, including there having been way more stuff in there than I had expected and way more than the movers could fit. I didn't know what was in there I only knew the dimensions of the unit so I planned as best as I could given the circumstances, anyway I didn't know what I was going to do, and even then the entire staff there went above and beyond to help me try to figure out my situation especially since my flight back was that evening, I truly am extremely grateful to them for all their help and kindness, I was able to make my flight that evening and leave with peace of mind. I definitely recommend them, it's hard to find companies with people who are helpful and pleasant nowadays and customer service is so important to me when I make decisions because you never know when you'll need help with something. If you're much the same way this is your place! They are rated highly for a reason!

On two separate occasions, my unit needed repair. Both times, CJ and/or Amir provided swift service, and even patiently waited several weeks for me to empty my unit the second time. For the inconvenience, they accommodated my things into a larger unit at no additional cost. That kind of service is rare! Amir had no problem greasing and cutting my lock when it rusted a few months ago. I know I can expect some minimum amount of customer service, but these two are very friendly and get straight to the point. I will be a longtime customer at this location.

Let me just say...BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I was looking fo a storage unit for my daughter and needing it for all of 3 weeks between sessions at UCF. Had the pleasure of speaking to CJ. He did everything in his power and told me that if a unit were to come available that I would get a call. Sure enough, the next morning the call came! It was an associate who said a unit became available and that his GM said I was to get it. I said....CJ is your general manager? He was so humble and never told me that. I"ve had a storage unit here since January. And today I called into the facility too make a payment over the phone and was denied service. I'm out of town dealing with a medical emergency involving my 89 year old Grandmother. And I explained this too the gentleman on the phone. I don't see what the problem is. When he took payment over the phone from me previously. And also took payment in person. But he's trying too tell me he's not allowed too take the payment. But he does so when he feels like it and makes and exception. But he won't make and exception for me today. I attempted the online portal and that's seems too be down. I just want too make a payment. The way there acting is ridiculous. I hope too have my belongings out of this facility by end of the year if not before

I truthfully only have amazing things to say about this CubeSmart, located on Alafaya Trl in Oviedo. I had previously worked with another self-storage company before trying out this CubeSmart facility and I could not be happier with my decision. Last year when I first rented a storage unit from this location, the entire staff was super kind and knowledgeable. Even when I lost my main lock key and the spare set…. then couldn’t get the rolling door to open. Never once did they make me feel as if I was an inconvenience to them, even though I definitely was! This year, my second time using this facility, was beyond outstanding. There were no available units so, I sent them and email to just make sure and began looking for other storage places. Then I get a phone call from the CubeSmart Oviedo General Manager C.J, informing me that a unit just became available and worked with me to reserve it. The unit was way bigger than I needed and definitely over my budget but C.J told me that if a smaller unit becomes available, he would immediately switch me to that one. About an hour ago he did just that, and a whole lot more! Not only was I able to switch to a smaller, cheaper, and drive up unit but C.J also explained that the new unit came with a discount as well! He then walked me through the whole rental agreement and completion process over the phone, while also sending me updated emails for the new unit. He was able to answer every question I had and gave very detailed instructions on how to access my storage unit! This was by far the best experience I’ve had with any company and I owe it all to C.J, the General Manager!

Ive had my storage unit for 2 months. At first, with customer service, i was having a rough time getting things figured out. i got pretty aggravated, but once they got me on the phone with Conan, the manager at Alafaya, everything in the past 2 months has been completely smooth. He has been super informative and has fantastic manners. Hes always kept a high energy and a huge smile. My girlfriend and I look forward to giving him a visit every time we stop by the unit, and he never lacks great customer service. Conan for president 2024 !!

Great experience working with General Manager C.J. He was able to save my registration even though I missed his phone calls. The only challenge was the computer system was really slow and locked up requiring CJ to have think outside the box to problem solve with me having to redo all my signatures to the agreement. Hopefully, CubeSmart Corporate can get this addressed ASAP. 10 min turned into 25 min but CJ kept it moving as best he could.

One of the managers here Steph is one of the kindest and most helpful people i’ve ever met and was helpful with getting me whatever I needed so thankful for this CubeSmart location and Steph for all of their help with everything great experience :-)

I had a great experience renting a storage unit on February 15th. Steph was very helpful and efficient. She made sure I understood all aspects of the contract for renting the storage unit. She took me in a golf cart to look at the unit before I rented the unit. Steph is an asset to CubeSmart Self Storage on Alafaya Trail.

Would not recommend this storage location. I specifically selected this one because of the location. I picked out the unit a month in advance and they said they would reserve it and they would call me when the time gets closer. I never got a call so I went to go pay a week before move in and a male employee told me that everything is still good and to pay the day of move in. I went in on move in day and they said they gave it to someone else all because I didn't answer one phone call in the morning and never got a voicemail message. They offered to give me a unit for twice the amount of money we agreed on before. Go anywhere else this place is disorganized!!!

First, let me say to Steph that I am sorry for taking so long to post this review! Better late than never, kind a like the truck! LOL! I want to say a personal thank you to Steph for being so thoughtful, kind, and generous for allowing us to use the truck. You are a wonderful manager and I cannot thank you enough for everything you did to help us out! We just rented a unit at another location and Steph went WAAAY above and beyond what she had to in order to help us out...when she didn’t have to AT ALL! The staff at both this location and the Lockwood location are amazing! I haven’t had customer service like this EVER! As if the service wasn’t enough we are also saving OVER $200 A MONTH by switching to CubeSmart!! What more could we ask for!? Thank you again Steph for your outstanding service, I will not soon forget all you did to help us out! You are amazing and deserve every bit of this praise!!

The staff is as friendly and helpful as possible, they are very laid back and very nice people. They will remember your name and greet you with a smile when you walk into the office, and are always happy to answer questions and help as best they can. Pricing is pretty standard for the area. Units are relatively clean and are clearly treated for bugs in between uses (hey, it's Florida, they do a real good job of keeping out bugs). I left my storage unit unlocked by mistake once and they called me less than an hour later to tell me they had noticed and locked it again for me. Storage facilities and pricing are standard, the staff however are wonderful.

I am extremely pleased with my relationship with them. I decided to leave public storage because my rent is almost double than when I started and they keep going up.Cubesmart storage has the best customer service i have ever seen. The staff seem sooooooo happy to help me. There rates are sooooooo affordable. Please don't waste your money at public storage, u can get a great deal at cubesmart. I was not paid for my review either and I feel financially relieved and free that I am here with them @ CUBESMART...thank u for serving Oviedo

Woman working at customer service was extremely nice and helpful with the whole experience. She was happy to answer any questions we had and the prices are reasonable. The only thing that kind of sucks is it isn't open 24 hrs and is open 6am to 10pm. Also they're changing their lock types so a typical pad lock doesn't work and they charge $13 if you buy one from them which is kind of pricey just for a lock.

Called over the phone to get a parking space for a trailer, spoke to a very kind man who helped us and instructed us to drive to this storage because he said that this place had space to leave a trailer with a load just for one day. After getting a confirmation and heading over to this yard they cancelled our order n told us to find somewhere else to park. Future customers they will not take your truck with a load of the vehicles you are hauling have no proper documents. Don't waste your time even if it's just one night! Good luck.

The move in experience was great. I worked with Mayra for the majority of the move in and she was very accommodating. The biggest draw to this location is the moving truck they provide. The truck only cost about $12 total for gas and fees and was a huge help to get my belongings into the unit. I'd definitely recommend this location for storage.

Drove two hours to get there to get our furniture out of storage only to find the gate did not work and no one was around to open the gate. People at the emergency number call center were rude. Had to drive back home two hours with no furniture. Called the manager, Chris, the next day and he was very apologetic and said they had someone out there that morning working on the gate. He also gave me his cell phone number to call if I had anymore problems getting in and said he would compensate us for the inconvenience. Not a great experience but most of it was bad timing. Management does seem to care so that was nice.

Convenient location next to UCF. Easy registration and sign up process. Amazing price. Clean unit. No problems. Friendly staff ready to help however they can. I would recommend this CubeSmart especially for college students moving in and out or in need of storage. I would use CubeSmart again for my next storage use.
