Staff was very helpful and friendly. However, there was a lot of issues. We used our climate controlled unit for about 4 months. It was always very warm inside and didn't seem as cool as it should have been. There were rat traps set in various places. Two of the garbage bags of clothing had holes chewed through them, and a few bugs found their way into two or three of our boxes. One day we went to put stuff in our unit and the place smelled so horrible I couldn't go in! It was like rotting fish. We didn't go back for two weeks because we wanted to make the smell had dissipated. Like, I said, the staff were great, but everything else was seriously sub-par. I would not use them again or recommend them.

While the staff is polite and helpful the company itself will raise your rent and not give you any notice. This not only happened to me but 5 others thar is poke to that rent there. If this is brought up you are told that that the company sent out a letter at the previous month and an email (neither of which will most likely be recieced). This is the ONLY reason for the rating.

Lisa at the store (0500) on cypress edge is very polite helpful and sweet. Answered all my questions. Highly recommend if you need anything for your storage needs. Although Lisa was great, there were things that made the experience less desirable. Gate codes didn't work and that was after not having a gate for over a month. Unnecessary buying of locks when I had my own and being forced to use the minimal insurance for the first month when I had my own renters coverage that was more than enough to cover my 2 units. Alot of unnecessary cost that could and should have been avoided. If it wasn't for the staff at this location I would have gave this a much lower rating!

I was charged a full month for about six days after my contract date due to the worst hurricane in history in Florida, Ian, and the fact we couldn't close on our house on the date we expected. But I was told since I did give advance notice I would not be charged. And then just like that it was taken out of my checking account. Do not use them unless you want nothing but headaches. We rented for 6 months while builing a home and had a squirrel in our unit that came in from a rip in the ceiling. The women working there told me they were having squirrel problem in the unit next to us as well. Cube smart told us they were "working on it" and having pest control come in but they did nothing except put some rodent poison packs on the floor of our unit. When we moved out it was discovered that we also had significant water damage to about $1000 worth of items, and the back wall was covered in mold. There was also roaches all over our stuff. Cube smart tells us to file a claim with the insurance company, who told us we had 15 days to submit our photos and documents to them. I had some questions for the company who did not respond until day 14 and at that point it was to late to submit our claim. (I followed up with them several times within the 15days). I had to thoroughly clean everything in the unit as it smelt and felt disgusting knowing there was water, a squirrel, and roaches all over our belongings. When issues were brought up to the employees all they do is a incident report and nothing happens from there. Would not recommend unless you want to to spend a lot of money to have squirrel, roaches, mold and water all over your stuff.

My initial experience with this storage unit was overall very good. However, be aware that if you pay for your month in full and then move your belongings out anytime before the end of the current billing cycle, they will NOT refund any portion of the money you paid. I moved my belongings out approximately one or two days after I was billed and they refused to refund any of the money I paid for the month that the unit will remain empty, or rented to another person. Essentially, they are collecting double rent on such units. This type of policy is criminal and should be widely known to anybody looking for a decent storage facility. Check the complaints with the Better Business Bureau to get a better picture of how this company does business. I probably won't see a dime of my money back but I will make every effort to spread the word about this criminal policy.

Todd Colton at the CubeSmart at 531 Cypress Edge Dr was great, very friendly and helpful. The facility was easy to get into and my movers loved the amount of room they to maneuver the moving truck and trailer. I would highly recommend this location and Todd.

Storage unit is clean and carts provided to unlock. Person at front desk was very helpful the two times I've talked with him. Price is the best in the area which I'm grateful for (unemployed; COVID19). The downside is the protection plan includes the circle lock (to be "contactless") so that's an additional $20. I had wanted to use my own lock.

Great location here in Palm Coast FL and really nice facility to boot. I've been renting a 30" Parking Slot for my RV for almost 2 years. I recently decided to move to a different slot and advised the General Manager, Mayra Ortiz who has helped me in the past. Although Ms Ortiz was getting ready to take a short vacation, she left clear instructions for the Manager, Devin Larkin to follow through on my request. Mr Larkin did a great job getting the paperwork completed in short order and the new billing accounting set up. He answered my questions and concerns thoroughly and completely. This Cube Smart location is well run and I'm confident in the safety and security of keeping my RV there. The parking area is clean, well lighted and the CCTV is monitored. Also, there is a "Live-in" Security on the premises.

Had to move last minute and needed somewhere clean, convenient and secure. I called a few places but the only place that seemed to care when I started asking storage rate questions was a young lady at the Cypress CubeSmart location. Ms. Mayra is who I initially spoke with - she was extremely pleasant, thorough and very patient considering I was moving under a very stressful time in my life. Over the last 6 months I’ve had to move items in and out, and every time both Ms. Mayra and the other staff member Devin are always offering to help with a smile. Makes you feel good knowing your items are secure with people who genuinely care.

Nice and clean but climate control is an issue. The several times I went, it was rather warm and the air was stale and not circulating. Walked through the hallways thinking just an issue in my unit area. Was warm and stale elsewhere.

Nothing special but close by. Rates are entirely out of line! We moved and are now SAVING around $700 per month! Do your self a favor and look around, everyone else in the immediate area is cheaper. To top it off CubeSmart does not maintain the units as needed! Manager tries but corporate will only let her do so much. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ In response to the CubeSmart response below, it is all hot air...I offered you to match or get close and you declined! Your loss, others will learn as I have...I sent you business and they found out CubeSmart is not competitive...$160 vs $60 down the road! For lying, now it is a 1 star and would be less if I could...Stop the lying...CUBESMART IS NOT COMPETITIVE !

Phoned into CubeSmart Customer service to reserve my space. Speaking with customer service, they were able to find the correct location and storage size for my needs. Found premises to be a Central location - area safe, well lit and centrally located. Love the air conditionied space, lighting timers and on site flat bed carts. On sight manager did awesome job explaining and showing different units.

My daughter made the call for me, we had a lot of questions. When we got those answers we received a return call within 5 minutes and the process had begun. We drove to the location and did the necessary information and had our unit quickly. I was very pleased with the ease of the whole process. This is a well maintained facility.

I had a great experience with Cubesmart. I reserved a spot online Monday. I went to the facility the same day and the general manager verified my reservation. I found out I didn't choose climate controlled storage. She verified that there was only one climate control storage available. I was able to change my reservation and moved my belongings in that Friday. My storage unit is easily accessible and fit my belongings perfectly. The manager that assisted me Friday was friendly and answered all of my questions with professionalism. The price for storage was less than I expected for the size I needed and there was a discount applied for making the reservation online. Everything was smooth sailing from beginning to end. I am thankful for the last minute availability.
