Nasty filthy ppl they lock the rest rooms and choose whom they let use them roach's termites and ants, it says climate control yet they turn the air off when they choose too. Mold all over my items from moisture.i would not recommend this place.

EDIT: Milexa did get in touch with me. She is very kind and has excellent customer service skills. She was able to get my rate back down in order to keep me as a customer. It’s a pleasure to worl with her. My rate has always been higher than it was advertised as when I first rented my unit. After the first month it was never fixed. Now 6 months in they have raised my rate 40$ … right at Christmas time, with no notice. I spoke with Milexa, she noted that she would possibly be able to get my rate back down a bit.. not all the way to what I was paying, but close, and that she would get back to me within 48 hours but I never heard back from her. Find a privately owned facility that will appreciate your business. I will be moving out asap.

Super friendly, affordable and very simple to rent. Modern technology allows you to do everything from your phone on their app including paying your rent and opening gate after hours. Malexa at the front counter was so sweet and walked me through the entire process based on my individual needs…then showed me exactly where my unit was and how to access. St. Augustine. My boat would not fit at my condo rental due to its size. I went online a got a contract at Smart cube storage. The storage facility office was closed (Sunday @ around 7 pm) and I was lost on what to do. Ms. Milexa showed up (likely off the clock) and took me to my storage site, showed me how to work the gate, and answered any questions I had. I needed a place to store my RV. The website shows a brand new gravel lot which is well maintained and secure. This however, is not where the RV lot is. That lot is further up the road and is very old, non working vehicles, dirty, debris around many parking slots- basically it looks like a junk yard. I cancelled my reservation the next day. I hope I will be able to get refunded the month I paid for since this is false advertising.

Charged almost $1000 for TWO MONTHS for a 10x 15 unit that I measured and is actually 9x 13 WITH a ceiling cap of 8 feet AND a complete AC duct in the unit that takes up space as well. I rented the same size unit down the street and it was $250 for two months with a 12 foot ceiling. This is the most ridiculous amount I have ever been charged for a unit that is less than sub par. While the manager is very nice, that does NOT make up for the false advertising of this unit. Had I not already had a truck of stuff to move in, I would have NEVER rented this unit. I would NOT recommend this space at all.

I didn't realize that I had to give 10 day notice to let unit go, and they charged me for it. Not sure how, as I cancelled my auto pay, but somehow they got the money. I called to see why, as I had left a voicemail saying that I no longer needed the unit and to cut the lock off, but somehow, again, that couldn't happen, till I signed a paper stating it was empty. However, they quickly refunded my payment, and I appreciate that so much. Read your terms, lesson learned...

Easy to deal with both on line and in person. This is not the newest facility in town but it is a clean space at a good value. I like the fact they take Covid seriously and practice safety protocols. To me this shows they take their facility and the patrons serious. The staff has been very helpful in my experience and I would give CubeSmart a positive recommendation.

I paid $189 a month for a climate controlled unit to protect my furniture only to have their AC unit leak water into my unit. Everything had mold and mildew and I am unwilling to use any of it. The district Manage was unwilling to help me. She offer 6 months of free storage because I left furniture there. I informed her that was all the mold invested furniture. I paid close to two thousand dollars only to have their AC destroy everything I own. You would think they would at least offer to reimburse me for the money I paid them to protect my furniture but nothing.

I have used CubeSmart for storing household goods several times over the years, but this is the first time I had the need for a place for boat storage. Their storage yard is very conveniently located, and each space is large enough to accommodate most any sized vehicle or vessel. Devon was very helpful, even taking the time to show me the space first, and clearing away the branches along the fence, so as not to get in the way or scratch my boat. The rates are very reasonable, and I like being able to rent on a month-to-month basis. I strongly recommend CubeSmart for all your storage needs.

I’ve been at this location for over a decade and Cubesmart has covered whatever I needed, when I needed it. As my needs changed they had the perfect unit available. I started way back when with a non-climate 5x5, upgraded to 5x10, and ended up with a 10x15 climatized for very reasonable rates. The process is seamless. Also the Ladys here are super friendly and are always around cleaning & maintaining the place. Well Ran Business... 5 Stars All the way ;)

We have been renting from CubeSmart on 206 for about 6 mo ths and we recently encountered a problem with space for our boat due to another space being parked incorrectly. They sent someone (I think Milexa) immediately and assigned us a new space within 15 minutes of us calling! Excellent customer service and a helpful staff. For the offsite storage for boat and RV’s, it’s a mixed bag. Location and 24X7 access is quite convenient. The boat wash out is basically unusable - located at the very front where you would block anyone else’s access if you backed your boat in. 25’ side is pretty good with power and light poles. 40’ side is not as nice with plenty of falling pine needles and a drop off in the back. They basically do as little as possible to maintain this place. Staff is helpful though if assistance is needed.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The management and staff at the St. Augustine location on Hwy 206 are excellent. After the flooding that came with Hurricane Matthew, we absolutely had to have a storage unit to save what we could from our home. Choosing CubeSmart was one of the best decisions we made during the whole ordeal. From the very first phone calls and meeting, the manager and staff were kind, professional, and always put my best interests first. They held a unit for me, stayed in touch with me (which was a major deal keeping track of everything during the hurricane aftermath), etc. etc. I can't say enough good things about this company. A+++

It's a nice secure location, seems well maintained. Costs a bit more since it became Cubesmart, and they aren't as vigilant about rodents as the previous company. There is usually plenty of space for.loading and unloading, and good availability for hand carts to help you.

I have rented 3 units from Cube Smart in St Augustine since Jan 2014. I visited many storage facilities before deciding on Cube Smart and I was impressed and I would highly recommend this facility. Not only is it clean but would highly commend the employees Adolfh and Milexa and a 3rd employee but can't remember her name. They work hard, very personable and very helpful. I'm retired but have been in business many years and great employees are hard to come by, and they are in that category. I moved out today and 1 box was wet but they were right on the problem and myself and the moving company I was using today decided it was ground water that probably caused the box being wet. It did not require a claim as far as I was concerned but Adolfh and Milexa were immediately on the problem. That's great customer service.
