Ron was a blessing. I visited several storage facilities today looking for a very specific type of unit. It was a very tall order. What started out as a frustrating day with less than stellar customer service at other facilities, ended on a really bright note. Ron was patient, understood all of my specific needs and asked the right questions, leading to the perfect space for my unique items. He showed me several units, was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to multi task when several other customers arrived mid transaction. I recently left a big box retail store management career of 25 years and I would have recruited Ron in a heartbeat. What a gem cube smart has at the Sebastian location. Thank you Ron! Very nice, knowledgable people who work in the office. The buildings and storage units are always kept clean and in good repair. The only reason I gave CubeSmart a rating of 4 out of 5??'s is because of the price of their rental units. CubeSmart is generally the highest priced storage facility of all the ones I checked in our part of South Florida, other than that I don't have anything negative to say about them.

Terrible, better options in the area with more affordable rates, I've been a customer since they were called smart storage. Once they bought the company they raised my rent $20, then another $20. No reason. Just cause they felt like it. I went to check out the local competition and found I can get my same until for a hundred dollars cheaper. I reached out via their customer service to see if they would be willing to at least talk about lowering my rate, even if it was just $40, $180 for. 5x10 non drive up. Is insane. What's even more insane is me paying this rent instead of moving just down the road where ei can get a 10x10 drive up for the same freaking price! Just wild! But yeah sure the store front people are nice.

Rent has increased double in 6 months. Also, the door to the hall near my unit is ALWAYS left open so it rains in there and is always DIRTY! Last time I was there to grab Christmas items a couple weeks ago, I swept near my unit because it was no filthy. Take care of the facility!!!

Terrible customer service. Girl at the counter just hates her life and is very rude and unhelpful. Also, on the day of pickup the truck gas tank was on empty! This was the worst experience I have had. The guy was not the sharpest tool in the shed. Probably why he works for a storage company. Turn the truck in and the Uhaul in Michigan was blown away at how awful they were here and are going to reimburse us.

Ron and the other gal working the desk, were very patient, kind and knowledgeable. My unit location was personally shown to me which was very helpful. I do protest the $29 administration fee. I have used other storage facilities in my 65 years and a couple as of recently in another state and never charged an admin. Fee. Considering how costly these units have become I would think that is already built into the fee. I did receive a discount bonus by first signing up online and that is very appreciated. Overall I would recommend a friend or family member to use this service located in Sebastian FL. And hope their other fa ilities are as comparable.

We stored our belongings at storage sense for a little over a year. During that time contact with the office staff was always easy to deal with and a pleasure. Our items stored were safe and dry. What I mean by dry is, we rented a storage facility down south and most of our things got wet from a leaking roof. You can tell by looking around that storage sense takes maintenance seriously!

My experience was perfect, apart from one issue. After I emptied the storage unit, I called up to cancel my storage unit. I was then told that they needed a 10-day written notice of cancellation. This really annoyed me because I payed for a whole month whilst I didn’t use the storage unit. I felt robbed. But this was genuinely the only issue. The store manager himself is amazing and will help in a any way he can.

Ordered my climate control unit online. This process was fairly simple and painless. The legal contract for renting this unit was easy to understand, it was what one would expect when entering into an agreement with a privately owned business or any legally owned business for that matter. You either understand and agree to their terms and conditions etc. (clearly stated) or just find somewhere else to rent. You don't have to like it, you just need to abide by it and you're good to go, it's quite simple. I did have to go to the office the next business day to get my key to enter into the climate control building which again was very simple. The young gentleman that was working there during the day was very professional, very nice, good eye contact, no issues whatsoever. I was in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. My unit was ready for me, cleaned with welcome card inside the unit and information on how to make my payments and other useful information, I especially like the magnetic clip that was holding the welcome card, I really needed another potato chip bag clip! ?? Thanks! ??

Every thing was fine until I went inside my climate controlled inside unit after 2 months. I had a leather western show saddle that at one time had been at the same location with the previous company for 2 years & the saddle was fine. This time I went there the saddle was covered in MOLD! It was properly cleaned & conditioned a couple of weeks prior to going there. I went there that day to sell my saddle & I was horrified how it looked! I sent the manager an email about it on May 24th and as of June 9th I never got a reply. I verified with the assistant manager that the manager got my email. I sent an email to the corporate office & got a voicemail late Friday afternoon but it was too late to call them back. I'll call them back tomorrow (Monday). How unnecessary & unprofessional that this wasn't addressed by the onsite manager.

Staff were very kind and accommodating. We were not able to receive a key to our first building we signed our agreement. So each time we wanted to come to our unit we would call ahead and they would unlock the building for us. Each time, they were kind and had no problem with doing so. The only concern/compliant would be when we called the main number (not local) and we were on the phone/hold for almost an hour before we could talk to anyone.

I wish I could post a more positive review, but here's what I got: *I paid for an utility dolly, and I've got a useless appliance dolly. No big deal. *Took like 30 mins to get a prepaid reservation because using a phone to pick it up is actually harder. No big deal. *Drove for like 5 miles to find out that I have HALF A TANK, when it is very well highlighted that I got a FULL TANK. Now that's a big deal. That is being incompetent and downright dishonest.

Couldn't be happier with this storage yard/unit and the staff is excellent especially Kenny whom I spoke with on the phone before getting there and he definitely sold it to me. Once I arrived Kenny took me to see the unit not only is he a great guy hes also very knowledgeable.. he really went above n beyond for me and restored my faith in good folks still existing ??

Wonderful people great units corridors always clean they only thing I don't like is the little ally way you have to walk down to get to your unit has no light and I go at night now than day because it's convient with kids to go with out them and I'm already a nervous wreck if there were motion sensord lighting I would give 5 starts

Storage Sense has always been a pleasure to deal with. We have an airconditioned unit that is always cool and dry, the gate is locked and only accessible by code. We have been there for over two years and would recommend this storage facility to everyone who wants to store important things that will be preserved when ready to use. This is a wonderful storage facility.

The staff was friendly and helpful while guiding my husband through the process of acquiring storage space. My hubby was able to purchase a lock for our unit while he was there which saved him a trip to Walmart. The lock was priced reasonably and competitively. We would feel confident recommending Storage Sense to anyone needing extra storage space.

Helped my sister add items into the unit she is renting. Very nice and clean unit, smells clean inside building. We went at night and I really did not like that there were no outside lights down the little alley way between buildings that we had to walk up and down to get from the vehicle to the unit. Thank goodness we happened to have a flashlight with us. As two women, we were very apprehensive to walk down the dark, narrow alleyway to get inside the building where the unit entrance could be accessed. Please put lights down the alleyways, at least motion sensored lights!!!!!!!!

Overall terrible experience. I'm not going to go into all the details, but the lady inside(not sure if she's with Storage Sense or U-Haul) is extremely rude. She talks on the phone about the customer, complaining about customers, etc. Tells us "we need to figure out what we wanna do fast, because I close soon and I'm not going to wait on y'all". I'll definitely never return here, or ever buy a truck or storage unit from this location.

Knowing what we are all going through as a whole, I understand having to stand outside in the heat while they prepared my contract and ran my card but after standing outside an hour to be finished just to go to my storage and see dirt and trees all in it! I had to leave and call the 800# to report it! Before storage sense took over this was a very nice clean family ran business that I wish was still there! A whole wasted day cuz I wasn’t cleaning it out!

Overall I was happy renting at this location. CON: They will NOT prorate your month (though I appreciate Melinda double checking with corporate) so be aware when you are moving out. I ended up paying almost $80 for just a few additional days. PROS: Super clean, friendly staff, unit always had AC, zero items damaged over almost 2 years of rental, very easy access. I started before it became Storage Sense and was previously Acorn Mini Storage. Happy overall.

I had the worst experience with this company. I spent thousand and thousands of dollars with this company and when it came down to leave the female in charge of the check out was so unprofessional it blew my mind. I emphatically urge you not to use this company for both storage and Uhaul. Useing them for Uhaul was equally as bad. The woman tried to charge me $175 for bringing the truck back EARLY. Had to cal UHaul and place a complaint and Credit Card Co. There are plenty of choices out there. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Rented a U-Haul and was supposed to drop off at this location I arrived after they closed and was informed they would charge me an extra 100$ to leave there even though they were still open for some reason so I pulled out and went on the side of the road to find a new location while looking the bi*chy lady in the office leaves me a voicemail stating that I abandoned the truck and she’s contacting U-Haul and the police contact the manager about it and he says oh well not even an apology horrible customer service and management glad I found this out before I had to actually rent a unit from these maniacs stay away from these people

I started with this storage company when it was Acorn mini storage, I was a customer for about 4 years and towards the end is when Storage sense took over. My account was due on the 1st of the month, I got my stuff out on the 5th and was charged a full month $187 for 5ish days and I even gave them notice! I left a message requesting a refund for the pro rated difference with Storage sense corporate office which is through Storage Asset for Dave the CEO and NEVER received a call back. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS BUSINESS! I have had nothing but problems. I've already informed friends that were looking for a unit to go elsewhere and I advise the same for you!

So this used to be acorn mini storage which was sooo much better and felt like it belonged to real people now it's just another corporate buy out. You used to call and get a person right away by phone instead of having to wait through a bunch of unnecessary prompts and they more than doubled what used to be the late fee (approx. $15). So watch out now because their late fee is $33!!!! A notice about any pricing changes would have been nice seeing as how I didnt choose to store my stuff with them... but just another example of how corporations dont care! I'll be packing up and moving out soon for sure!

I went to Acorn Mini Storage due to a recommendation from a friend. I came from out of state and was genuinely surprised by how helpful the staff was. I had never rented a U-haul truck before, let alone put my belongings in a storage facility. My unit was clean as was the entire facility. I had a great experience in spite of the stress of moving.

Very courteous and friendly staff members. We had a little problem with opening our lock on one occasion. They stopped what they were doing & replaced the lock right away. I definitely feel like my"stuff" is in a secure place.

Rick, the manager on duty was very helpful and polite. My storage unit was clean and everything seemed like it was well kept up and taken care of. Definitely the cleanest storage out of the ones I had shopped. The whole process went smoothly and quickly.

I am renting a unit here based on a friend’s recommendation. When I came to the facility to ask questions and be shown the units I was very impressed by the manager as well as the cleanliness of the facility and the price was the lowest in town. I needed to rent a truck to bring my furniture to my storage unite and I was able to rent a U-Haul truck and blankets to cover my furniture from them as well. The truck I rented was clean and well maintained and the move was a breeze, they even had hand-trucks that they let me borrow while I was at the storage unit. I had no idea what size unit or truck I would need but the manager had the answers. I would recommend this place to anyone.
