CubeSmart has been the worst experience for me. Climate control is not a real thing to them. Roaches were always present both alive and dead. The ceiling paint peeled and fell onto everything I had stored. Once you're in the rate increases are heavy and often. Do not recommend!

I rented my unit online and the website forced me to purchase a lock, but informed me that I could supply my own and bring theirs back in for a refund. Mine was unopened and I came in to return it for a refund and the staff here is acting like they have no idea what I’m talking about. They will not take back their unopened lock or refund my money. I don’t recommend renting a unit here. They are theives.

First of all the staff at Harper street are great !!!!I have been a customer for 20 years My complaint is the 20 percent they charge you if you are over 5 days late with your rent. I just was charged $ $70.00 for being 5 days and 5 hrs late. I also looked up my unit and if you come there now you can pay $207.00 for the same unit I pay $375.00 for. So the longer you stay the MORE you pay You will get a increase every year that’s for sure ! They just said on the site my unit average in stuart is $279.00 yet still I’m charged $375.00 for being a long time customer. Something seems a little off !!! Again the staff at Harper Street are wonderful people . Just a little food for thought. After leaving this review the owner of CubeSmart left a message for me to call him. So I called and left a message for him and received no call back !!!!!! From It’s just very frustrating!!!!!! Emailed the company as they asked me to do with my information. I received a call from a nice lady at corporate who advised me she would have the district manager call me. IT NEVER HAPPENED! I received no call. I just am trying to find out why a new customer pays so much less then me. Also cubesmart charges a late fee of 20 % which is the most allowed by law in Fl. Other storage facilities around this area are between 15 and 25 dollars for a late fee ( I check around ) I have been here for a long long time and I’m just trying to get a fare deal without moving from here. The staff is great but the prices here are getting to inflated.

Cube Smart made it so easy to acquire a storage unit through the app and to pay and occupy the unit the same day! I was in desperate need of a unit because I had to move at the last minute and it was during a holiday weekend. Cube Smart had a unit available that was large enough to hold my entire home furnishings and general items that go along with daily living. It was easy and affordable and they saved me from a terrible situation.

The facility increases the price every year. They never improve services and after a while you are paying 50% more! They don’t try to keep you as a customer. They seem ready to let you go for the next customer who will pay more. You only get service when you arrive, no follow up and no relationship.

Upon entering the business office, the two employee rose and almost at the same time asked, "may I help you". Lily assisted me in a knowledgeable and professional way, guiding me through the process and answering my questions. Upon inspection of a unit size I requested, I noted it was probably not big enough. Lily asked what items would be placed in the unit and said if I needed something larger, it would be around the corner. We walked to it, she opened and I immediately told her it was the right size. As we headed back to the office, Lily engaged me in delightful conversation plus showed her understanding to the business of CubeSmart. After all of the paperwork was completed, Lily expressed looking forward to seeing me when I return with my truck load of items on Monday. Lily is a great employee, as CubeSmart is lucky to have her.

Always helpful and cooperative. Every place I called would not work with me and it was difficult because I was driving down from CT and needed to secure a place since I had no wear to put my trailer once I arrived. They called me as soon as they had an opening and it was there for me when I showed up. Now here's the part I am embarrassed to admit. I wanted to move to a facility closer to home. A month later, I got a call on an availability from another facility. I went there after leaving Cubesmart and the spot they had allocated for my size trailer was nearly impossible to get into. There was no way I would be going in and out of there on a regular basis. I like to use my trailer regularly. Drove back to Cubesmart and Frank welcomed me back and reprocessed all my paperwork while I went and parked. I won't go anywhere else!

Pretty expensive compared to others. Beware other customers who have lockers there are very inconsiderate when parking and driving their vehicles to access their storage unit. They park in the center and on the wrong side facing the wrong way. No type of driving/parking enforcement. Almost got in a car accident because people run stop signs in there. Hoping that the sound of my horn would cause the front office to see what the commotion is about and address the situation but no. Another time somebody completely blocked one end of the road forcing me to turnaround in an already tight space go the opposite way just to access my unit and then have to reverse the entire length of storage row pretty inconvenient considering front office has all these cameras and just allows pure anarchy behind the gates lol

I am very pleased with my experience with the Stuart CubeSmart. A few months ago when we were considering renting a storage unit there, Frank gave us a tour of the place and explained the whole process in detail to us. He was very friendly and professional. He explained how we could get the best rate and made the whole process a breeze. We felt their rates are very fair, and the place is secure and clean. I highly recommend this location! (2018) Edit: We ended up needing a storage unit now (Nov 2021). Lilly the Store Manager was incredibly kind and helpful. Truly a lovely lady. After revisiting three years later, I can say confidently that the staff here takes very good care of the property. They still provide the best rates in the area. Lilly seems to really care about the customers as well.

Huge disappointment. We drove 5hrs. with our brand new travel trailer in awful weather only to find that we could not get in, apparently because the pin box got struck by Lightening. The lights worked around the building. I wonder if the security cameras were working?? I pulled in to the gate with a 21 ft. travel trailer and 3 people behind me tried to get their pin to work. None worked. Don't think it is advantage to have manager on sight. He had to see us all pull up to the gate. My beef is there should be some one on call in that office until it closes at 10:00 if their equipment fails to function. The other pain is there is not a place to really turn a trailer of any size around if something like this happens again. Stay out of the RV business unless you can make a turn around for us. Maybe you wanted me to back down Harper onto RT. 1 to get out. THINK ABOUT IT. YOUR EQUIPMENT BREAKS IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE THERE TO OPEN IT UNTIL 10PM. We arrived at 8:45PM to park our RV and now it is illegally parked in my HOA. What do you think we are paying you for. You should be inconvenienced, not the customer. We will stay until we find someone that takes care of their customers.

So, there's an old homeless guy that sleeps on the property in his hover round, there's a group of people that have pot smoking keg parties nightly, then there's the thirty or so Latinos who show up three or four nights a week to party with the live band that plays out of a storage unit. If you want a climate controlled unit, understand they mean 80°+, and if you're associated with someone there that the management doesn't like, they'll kick you out because they don't like the customer you're associated with even if you've been paying your bill on time every month for over a year and you don't share a unit with the person they don't like. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST RUN STORAGE I'VE EVER BEEN TO. ANT OTHER STORAGE FACILITY IN THE AREA MAY BE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT SECURITY IS BETTER (at cube smart, the gate may be open 24/7 for weeks, I've seen it personally), AND EMPLOYEES AT OTHER STORAGE FACILITIES DON'T HARASS YOU OUT HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR SOMETHING OTHER ADULTS HAVE DONE. DON'T STORE AT CUBE SMART, IT'S A HORRIBLE SHODDY BULLSHIT FACILITY

Being that I have had my fair share of storage units, I pretty much know the steps in how to obtain one. Frank F. couldn't of been more of a help to me. He was a man that actually cared about the people he was helping and actually cared that he was Helping. That was the difference with Frank. He used his time that he didn't have to since the store was closing and made sure I got what I needed done. AND he did it with a real smile. I know he just works there and its his job, but it really did seem like he actually cared so much to help me. That's how everyone should be at their jobs. Just like Frank F.

We had a great experience. Must have new managers because they were very helpful and nice. And what great prices!!!!!!!!!!! They've got everything from very small units to large yard spaces for our rv which is 34 feet long. Highly recommend CubeSmart. So glad they were there for us. We were new to the area and so helpful.

The absolute worst customer experience I've ever dealt with. dealt with storage units my whole life and have still never dealt with such an ignorant staff. MArio is the "manager" but apparently has no managerial power whatsoever. they will now work with you at all even if you are just a week late. they clearly want to slap on any fee possible and hopefully get tot take the unit to auction. horriblr company, horrible people... don't make s horrible decision. take you $ elsewhere there are numerous options available to not deal with this horrible staff and location

CubeSmart made our move from SC very easy. We were not able to arrive as early as our movers. The personnel at CubeSmart allowed them access and by the time we arrived the movers were finished and all we needed to do was complete our paper work for the storage unit and settle up with the Two Men and A Truck, our moving company.

My mother used this facility to store her late father's furniture temporarily until his companion vacated his condominium. Unfortunately, she was caught in a horrific storm in January when moving the furniture into the storage unit. Thankfully, due to the extremely kind and helpful staff during and after the move everything has gone smoothly. Upon my mom returning home to New York a few days after the move, the staff of the facility continued to be extremely helpful by going above and beyond. For example, they put damp rid in the unit after she left, they raised the air conditioning for a bit, and they checked on the unit for a few weeks after my mom left to make sure the furniture she stored was not damp or moldy from being caught in the storm. Today we vacated the unit and were beyond pleased to see no damage or mold on anything. Thank you Cubesmart!!!

I stored my goods at Harper Street for about 3 months and I was very satisfied with the staff there and their service. Not only are the hours of access and office hours very flexible, but the facility itself is very well maintained. The staff has helped me to their utmost ability and have been very accommodating. I moved myself before my stuff, so I sent my key to the office and had them hand it over to the movers - it went without a hitch. The prices are very reasonable as well. So, all in all, I highly recommend this facility.
