I rate CubeSmart one star because of The lack of pets control in the storage units. I had my complete home furniture stored for two months and it was filled with rat poop and live rats escaping while I was taking all of my personal items out. Most all of the furniture was either poop on by the rats or bites are noticeable. I have pictures of all this videos as well.It is disgusting and not safe to store your personal belongings into CubeSmart. I suggest for you to Store your personal items elsewhere Just not with this company I had high expectations based on their reviews 4.7 but it’s all a scam.

They are terrible. The large garage doors are always broken. And they always seem to lose the check that is mailed for my bank on billpay and then they want to charge a $54 late fee and it’s always their fault horrible service and horrible billing department. We have been a customer there for about 20 years and in the last Five years it has gone to hell in a handbasket. As soon as we can, we’re taking our stuff out of there

Ignore Ashley Ricker's review, I was there in person and she is lying. Her father (who works construction, he is not a frail old man) came in at 9:00, the employee said sorry we open at 9:30 and then her father went back in his truck (literally 30 seconds away). The employee opened the store and the father came in with a NASTY and ENTITLED attitude right away, the employee said it was an accident and the father DEMANDED an apology, the employee simply said "it was an accident, I will go and take it off now". You can see her profile is filed with these types of reviews. James is an AMAZING employee and manager, one of the hardest working people I have ever seen. He turned that store completely around and those customers still act ungrateful towards him for things that are out of his control.

AVOID THIS DRIVE IN STORAGE FACILITY AT ALL COST. -The positive reviews seem to be added at date of lease vs once patrons have had time to use the facilities and experience the issues on property. - Access is a constant issue - On countless occasions (within access hours stated in the lease contract) I could not access my unit due to broken garage doors (front and back), pedestrian doors, pin pads, etc... - I more often than not would have to wait for a staff member to arrive and open the door manually at 9:30am. Then it would close at 6pm when staff left. -- Safety Concerns - due to the access issues there were vagrants and people in the building using it as shelter. I called the police on 2 occasions for people sleeping in cars or just in tents INSIDE the drive in facility. -Rent continued to increase multiple times a year despite their lack of communication, customer service, and failing equipment. - Over a 1.5 year period and countless efforts to reach the CUBE SMART District Manager and other management beyond the onsite staff with ZERO response after countless attempts and voicemails left. - It cost me $1300.00 to move hire movers to move me to a new unit across town. There were countless meetings I had to cancel because I couldn't get access to my storage unit where I kept my sales tools/samples. Cube Smart, DO NOT comment back and insult me like you have the other negative reviewers, acting as if you will do right by your renters asking us to contact you to "Make it right". You were given every opportunity during my lease to communicate or at the very least acknowledge your breach of contract and the issues onsite and you failed to respond. THE BUSINESS CUBESMART IS RUNNING IS SHAMEFUL

The people that have taken over this cubesmart are extremely rude and careless. The put a padlock on our outside unit. The bill was due this morning. When my father walked in to ask why they locked it the man told him his payment was late. After my father told him it wasn’t he said well we aren’t open yet you have 5 more minutes till we open. This man made my 72 year old father walk back to his truck and wait 4 min till they opened. Once my father went back in the man realized they locked the wrong unit. He said what do you want me to do it was a mistake. These people are so rude, take your business somewhere else. And also, there are NEVER any carts!!

Reserved a storage 10x20 $491 bucks which felt was expensive. Young girl that attended me was like really egotistical and rude. As if you was bothering her by asking questions and wanting to show units. Proceeded to look for other storages locally and went to extra space to find a better insulated storage and 12x25 for almost $100 bucks cheaper !? Called back to atleast see if they price match or basically give yes or no, not haggling or anything, cause simple yes or no would have been sufficient. Rep passed me to manager which was another rude and kaky attitude as if what I was asking was a discount? I told him a simple yes or no was fine to determine if I went with them or extra storage? I did ceded to tell him to cancel cause poor customer service and customer respect and curtousey was lacking a bunch. Went with extra storage and rep was super professional and sold me asap.

This cube smart was a huge mess. I moved furniture in my cube smart space that was as clean as could be. after one month it was covered with dirt and dust the storage unit had water moisture all over the floor. I had to pay a girl to go over to this storage unit to clean the items several diffrent times before we could even move in to truck. I only had this space less then 4 months. Just about everything pretty much runed. The manager was as rude as you could ever emagine. I highly recommand to stay away from this storage Cube Smart on Dixie nex to the Winn Dixie. I would giv3 this place a 0 ++++++++++

I have had a unit at this location for over 15 years. In the time since Cubesmart has owned it, they are only consistent about raising the rent 10 to 20 dollars per month every December.Trash cans were removed so they didn't have to be emptied, hence there's lot's of debris on the floors. We never see the same management for more then a few months. The current managers response to a mailed lost check, was that it was not her problem, and we owed them a late fee. And that's after years of on time payments. We plan on moving out as soon we have time after the holidays. We would encourage people to avoid this location. We are paying $50 more per month, than a new customer. So much for loyalty. At this location, it certainly doesn't pay to be a long-term customer! They don't seem to value their customers, and have the attitude if your not happy, move out and someone else, (wealthier, closer to Palm Beach or Antique Row) will rent it. They couldn't care less.

I went there to store a vehicle that I have and from the moment I stepped in the building it was nothing but good vibes and the staff was very helpful. Drive in storage with AC. I think only 2 like this in South Florida. It's an old building, be careful of what unit you rent since the AC may leak into your unit. I switched units and haven't had the problem since...

Cube Smart was incredibly helpful when I found out at the last minute that the moving truck was arriving earlier than I expected. I set up the arrangements for the local facility on a Sunday evening with the "1-800" representative, who was wonderful. When I went into the local store the next morning, Sheena Zill and the staff were pleasant, and treated me like they had known me forever. Everything worked out perfectly. Rats inside the climate controlled area!!! They tore up lots of my stuff and when I called about it the District Manager never returned my call. Moved out my belongings immediately will never return or recommend!!! Don't use this storage complete health hazard you will have rat feces everywhere and chewed up boxes and belongings

Was helping a friend move and they told me that I'd have a certain number of days past the last day and then on the last day changed their mind. This was a long time tenant... I guess their word doesn't really matter.
