Like everything about it but the cost. $65 a month is way too expensive for a 5ft storage locker. We will only keep it for a couple of months due to the high cost.

The Ladies in the office were very nice, helpful and accommodating. We were able to swap for another unit that was more accessible for a truck and trailer to turn around and back in. The Bathroom was cleaned daily as well. And a Clean property too.

Original unit was flooded within two days after I moved in. I had to move the contents to another unit that was not flooded. It was a major inconvenience . When you rent space from them as if it has been flooded.

The property i rented from had a failed drainage system. There was a total of 70 units that got flooded and the insurance they offered doesn't cover floods. I took a 3k loss of leather furniture. Note never rent a unit at ground level even though it was air controlled. I am giving them a 1 star since there is no option for a negative star. The property was poorly maintained from all causes of nature. The storage facility is managed by cube smart, but is not owned by them. I did move my stuff out to a U-haul facility that had 3 levels. The Uhaul facility was air controlled and it was kept between 65-80 degrees kind of nice for the outside temps of 100+. There are cameras down every aisle and security alarm on your storage doors kind of an overkill. Huge furniture elevator a double air control garage doors to drive in for rainy days for unloading or loading up. Cost for the facility was $20 more a month from cube smart.

UPDATE July 2024: We had several days of rain which saturated the ground and ended up flooding the whole building (see photos). I even had an inside unit and it still got flooded. All the boxes I had on the ground got wet, and the insurance I purchased through them didn’t cover anything because the flooding was due to weather. Weather is one of the main reasons people buy insurance in Florida! So if there had been a fire because of lightening, or damage from a hurricane or tornado, none of it would have been covered. If you end up renting a unit at this place, make sure you keep your items off the ground or in plastic bins and get your own insurance because theirs is worthless. Original review: Becca was very friendly and helpful getting me set up with a storage unit. The process was easy, the prices are reasonable and the location is great!

This particular Cubesmart location on 44 is the best location, bar none! The front office is always super clean, the units are well taken care of, but the office staff, is the greatest thing overall! Too many random rate increases. Over the three years that I had used a 10x20 non climate controlled unit there were several $20 to $30 a month hikes going from around $160 to $245 if it keeps up it will be over $300 per month soon and the price never goes down. This isn't a Condo association people where they pass on increases due to occupancy decreases. Also pest control is non existent.

The employee I met at the counter was courteous and helpful. I like that the locks to the inside units are in a gift bag inside the unit. That was kind of cute. As cute as cute can be for a storage facility. Although I did have to walk around to find my unit because the directions she gave me were not exact. But I was able to find it on my own. I will recommend them to my family and friends.

Today I was helped on the phone by a very knowledgeable and courteous worker named Debbie. Since the credit card I used for my autopay to Cube Smart was changed I needed to make this change with Cube Smart to continue autopay for my account. She suggested I download the Cube Smart App and she would walk me through the process of paying my current bill and entering the new credit card number. This worked very well. She was very patient as I did all the typing of the info. I was very grateful to her for all of this help! Cynthia May.

Rates are randomly increased with barely 30 days notice. This last rate increase was about 20$ a month. They wait for you to get all of your possessions tightly packed away then just raise the price because they know it’s inconvenient for you to move to a different facility. I’ve never seen this done at any storage facility other than this one. Avoid this place

My experience over the last twelve months with CubeSmart has been very favorable. I had a large 15x20 unit with a competing storage facility and a similar sized unit with CubeSmart. I got tired of seeing automatic rate increases at the other place. CubeSmart sets prices according to their occupancy rates. When they have a lot of units the rental rates actually decrease. And monthly Discounts increase! The competition just keeps gouging me with rent increases. They figure I’ll just pay because I’m too lazy to move.The photos below were taken at a competing storage facility. CubeSmart offered me a 25% discount for the entire duration of my contract so I moved.

Easy check-in, low rates. I only had one questionable interaction, with an employee (I don't recall the name) whom when I asked about lock cutting/drilling, I couldn't get a direct response from, instead I got things like "Well it depends if I'm busy....there's only one of me....it's probably best to schedule ahead of time" So I asked about which dates would work to schedule ahead, then that changed to "Well it's probably best to call when you're coming..." She also told me she couldn't take payment over the phone or help me update my card on file when I had a banking issue, however another employee happily did so the following day. The day I drove out, I couldn't get ahold of anyone on the phone. I took the hour plus drive regardless, because it was my only off day. Juan was working and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He drilled our lock super quick, checked in with us during clean out, had a great personality, and just overall made our last day there super enjoyable! Juan wouldn't take a tip although I tried. He made this review a 10.

COCKROACHES! Our unit was infested with roaches! We had only had our stuff in there for 4 months and our mattresses and recliners are infested and ruined! Do no use these units! They say they "spray for bugs" but when and how thouroughly?? They clearly don't spray into the units. We have to put a claim in now for insurance because we lost so much. And then we have to figure out how to dispose of these items. I was excited about this place because the reviews all say it's a new facility and that the staff are all wonderful so that's what caught my attention but I couldn't believe all the roaches that came crawling or some flying out. Absolutely disgusting and very depressing to have lost so much. I do not recommend this storage facility. If I could give 0 stars I would have.

Great selection on units when I rented. Downfall is that they need a turning lane into the facility before a nasty accident happens if it hasn’t already. Also, they raised the rent on my unit by $50!! Thank goodness I only need them one more month!

I don't leave alot of reviews but I am going to leave one now. I never needed storage before. My grandfather suddenly passed. I had to go down to FL and clear out and store his home until we could figure out what to do. I walked in and met the manager Sean; explained my situation. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood the process and were very comfortable. He was very understanding and compassionate. He has since followed up a few times. Utmost professional. I am beyond grateful and I never thought I would feel this way about a storage unit. I highly recommend this location, ask for Sean.

Got 30 days behind on my storage unit rental due to major illness management cut off my locks and placed my possessions in a auction status I find this policy extremely unfair and the General Manager of this location heartless so customer beware if you fall behind for any reason with your monthly rental they will promptly take your property which is not subject to state regulations it's up to storage unit vendors BE VERY WEARY OF THIS BUSINESS PRACTICE DESPITE CURRENT BUSINESS CLIMATE

Manager on duty was seemingly useless. Is the protection package? Optional or mandentory, ups mandeotory. Protects against the frequent sonic booms we have! Protects against explosion, riot or civil commotion and so on.This is on par with auto dealer antics. I’m not believing that this large company has to reduce itself to this.” Just one more thing” you have to buy lock from them for each unit. Like a drink machine lock, guess what, they will not buyback.This must be a easy business to operate, l like easy to operate , but expensive to build

I rented a storage unit here for just over a month. The renting process was very clear and easy! I did it all online and the CubeSmart app is great! The CubeSmart team at this location allowed me to prorate my second months rent because I was only going to use the unit for a couple of days. Thanks a lot! Wonderful facility & great team. What a great group to deal with! On-line sign-up was very easy and I received a call from Sean within minutes to see if I had any questions. On our scheduled move day, Michelle called and verified we were still coming (we were running late) and confirmed our rental. Easy and quick on-site contract and payment process. Sean is the BEST!!!! He was so friendly and very helpful. Sean had me feeling very comfortable about leaving all my belongings in his climate controlled units. They have all sorts of options for storage, it even looks like they may have indoor and outside storage for RV’s. This place is incredibly clean and well taken care of, thanks Sean. I never had any issues and would recommend this place if not for everything I have already mentioned also for it’s perfect location to where I needed it to be. Thanks again Sean!!!

Sean the Manager has been great! Service is wonderful and the layout seems right on, especially with the overhead cover for outside storage of vehicles and such. If you rollup and the door is locked, please patient, as someone will be with you within a couple of minutes. They are still hiring and need new employees as this is a new site.
