I HAVE ACCEPTED AND AM DEALING WITH MY VIOLATIONS.*** I AM CRYING FOR HELP ANYWHERE I CAN GET IT, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH WHAT TO DO NEXT, CUBESMART HAS THEIR KNEE ON MY NECK, AND I AM SHORT OF BREATH, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP***** I am having the worst experience with this Storage company and their staff. Kenneth (property manager) and his assistant Alfredo decided evicted me for "urinating" in the wheel well of my car and being on the property for organizing my items in the storage, and that's on the first week moving there. I was given a notice to evict, which had no explanation of why I was being evicted. I had to find out from the duo as to why. Fast forward to now, as I am moving my things out and Kenneth knows and sees that I am moving my things out, he has decided to lock me out of my unit and reported me as trespassing to the police. As I am not trying to make matters worse, especially with my medical condition that doesn't allow me to be as functional as I used to be, but Kenneth isn't considering the fact I am trying and making the effort to move my belongings out of the property, but he has decided to hold my items hostage with intentions to sell them. These guys at the office are behaving like crooks, from the first day of signing for the unit, I could tell Kenneth and Alfredo weren't welcoming of me there as threats of evicting me were mentioned. I filled a claim for their district manager Steve to contact and fix the situation, but mentioned that Steve is the ringleader of that decision to hold my items hostage. Now I have no clothes to wear, my hygiene products, my snacks or anything I had to eat, my achievements, everything family related, my equipment to better my health has been taken by Kenneth and Alfredo. They left me for dead when I have lost so much prior to me moving there, and they're eager to take more from me "the have not", I barely make enough money to eat and I haven't had decent meal going on 2 months. And they know I am struggling. I can't afford any more losses, I need advisable help PLEASE, they locked me out for the account to go over the 6 days grace period to get more money out of me that I had spend on U-Haul truck and storage. Can someone help me please, this company is killing my life, I barely have anything left. Please someone help me from these Crooks.

Very pleased with our decision to go with CubeSmart. We reserved our unit online. We got emailed reminders of our reservation and someone from the office reached out to answer any questions we had about the unit. Once we arrived Kenny was super helpful. He showed us the unit and explained everything we needed to know about storing with CubeSmart. Once we saw the unit we decided we needed something bigger. Kennith was able to show us a few units and give us his expert advice based on what we told him we would be storing. I will preface this by saying, I’ve moved more times than I can count within the last 8 years, and I’ve used a few different storage places, like Extra space storage, and Personal Mini storage. I had a horrible financial customer service issue with extra space, that no one resolved, and personal mini, well, they just weren’t clean enough and they over charged. And that’s the nice version. I live right down the road from this Cubesmart and I decided to give them a try. The first person I spoke with was Jeii. I told her upfront, what I wanted and I didn’t want to have a unit bigger than what I needed, and she was very patient with me, which I appreciated. I was able to get a perfect sized unit in the AC, and she even helped me get a cart for my things. Needless to say, I love this storage unit. Customer service and cleanliness is unmatched.

Kenneth was exceptional, affable with a witty sense of humor. I didn't expect someone to be so attentive and jovial working on a 4th of July weekend. He explained everything carefully and proactively. He advised me to take a picture of my code, "just in case". This proved to be the wisest advice I have been given in a while. I left my pamphlet in my car, and realized my "mistake" after driving over 20 miles to the storage in a U-Haul truck. Fortunately, the picture I had taken following Kenneth' s suggestion saved me time and money. CubeSmart has a great asset in such a dedicated employee!

This facility increased the rental price 16% after only renting a unit for 6 months. There was also very little advance notice. In my opinion this is a deceptive business practice and shows little regard for customers. Beware of this experience before renting there.

They don’t tell you about “mandatory” insurance that you must pay monthly for each unit. You’re unable to decline coverage, and you can only buy the insurance thru them, you can’t shop it around. Also payment is difficult without being forced to pay “convenience charges”. The unit itself and staff were all nice. I just don’t like the corporate nickel and dime business model.

The three guys that came were nice, however at the beginning it seemed they took their time to get things started, I had requested bubble wrap that they had to wait for since they didn't bring it. Since they work times based I began to get frustrated at how they were working. They did wrap all the furniture, but as far as packing they lack experience. Things should go in order, for example if you have electronics, such as speaker, tv or computer, all cables should be packed together respectively. Then when we got to the storage at the time of arranging everything, they also lacked experience, since they did not take advantage of the height, and just stacked everything in the front, leaving alit is un-used space in the back. I would say that they are good for carrying your furniture if you don't have the strength or manpower, but they need a lot of guidance.

I rent out a space in a storage facility every couple years when I relocate to another city for my career, and with a place like uhaul, they spend 90% of the time issuing and elaborating on warnings for nonpayment and placing liens and 10% with customer centric activities to help the customer feel comfortable This place, assisted by Helen, was the exact opposite. I walked out after the transaction with trust in the facility and staff. Thanks for everything, Helen! Having said that, My 5 stars apply ONLY TO THE STAFF AT THIS LOCATION. Regarding the parent company, Suggest you take caution when reserving online as insurance charges are not disclosed until you reach a physical location. Also? Bring a lock in advance as you will get taken to the cleaners if you buy one of theirs. That, and the cost of the unit/space I needed was quite high and not a good value.

If I could give zero stars, I would have. The management is a husband wife team. The husband is a complete jerk. He stalks you in the parking lot, driving his car up and down and threatening to charge you for any little thing. The sign on the dumpster says ok to toss SMALL items, no furniture. So I threw away a small EMPTY box. This guy comes in his car up to me to tell me absolutely not and he will charge me for throwing a box away!!! He pulls up in his car before that interrogating when and what time I will have the unit empty (bought it at auction and still was in my 24 hr window when I get 48 hrs!!!). And again threatens to charge if I don't have it empty on time. Desperate for money and no manners or couth. I will never go to his facility ever again. Avoid the headache.

I rented a unit for 1 year at this location and I definitely recommend this business. The facility was always clean. The employees were courteous and very professional. The location was ideal - close to Hwy 50, SR436, and the 408. If you are looking for a safe, clean conveniently located facility, this is it!
