Everyone was very helpful at CubeSmart. The facility is new and nice. Automatic doors open to a climate controlled area housing the storage units. The building opens using a key pad with a password that’s specific to you for security. The facility also has a few rolling carts to help you with your move. I would highly recommend renting at this Cube Smart. So far, a super experience!

I thought the facility was very clean and the staff was very nice, but after comparing pricing for the size of my unit to other storage companies in the area, I realized that CubeSmart was more expensive than everywhere else. I relocated to another almost new facility, that was able to lock in my rate through the end of the year. It’s going to save me about $900 this year. Unless they increase the rent by 200% in January I still come out ahead.I want to emphasize that the staff was great, but the multiple increases became too costly.

This is the 2nd month in a row I have been charged twice for the same bill I have already paid. I've gone into the store to show both receipts and credit card statements, and they said they would get accounting to fix the error. The staff was incredibly unhelpful the last time I went in and acted as if it was an annoyance I was there, even though CubeSmart is the one who is not charging me the correct amounts. I now have to go back into the store to repeat the same exact thing. There is no email to reach this office, and no one answers the phone when I call. I do not recommend this location at all. The staff is unprofessional, and their billing & accounting department refuse to correct mistakes. There are plenty of other storage units within a 10 mile radius that run a lot smoother. Please call me back ASAP to resolve this matter.

I did not have many issues with CubeSmart until I decided to transfer from one unit to another. When I set up the transfer, it was set up for a certain day. When I went to CubeSmart for the transfer on that day, the store was closed although it was supposed to be open. People in CubeSmart corporate did not know why the store was closed. When I tried to work out my transfer, I had quite a bit of trouble with the manager who was working there. She was new and did not know how to do this transfer. She was very hard to talk to and gave no service whatsoever. I have still not worked out the full details of this transfer, including how much money I will owe and that is still in flux. I do not recommend this organization, they seem to be missing personnel and not fully in control of the storage units although the storage units are pretty nice.

Update to previous post. They did it again. Another rate increase in January 2024. 36% increase in 12 months. Avoid this place!!! There are less expensive options in this area. Very nice facility and easy access but my issue is with their pricing. At exactly the 90 day mark after I signed my lease, I received a rental rate increase notice of 12%. No explanation whatsoever, just a notice of my new rate. This is a bait and switch tactic and very unprofessional. I reached out the the site manger and I received no reply. I hate to move my stuff after only 3 months but I am looking at other options and in Alpharetta, there are plenty of options. Beware of these deceptive rental price practices if you decide to sign a lease here. Update 3.23.2023: still no response from the site manager to my email questioning the 12% rental rate increase after only 90 days. Avoid this place.

The place is clean and neat, and the storage units are at an excellent temperature. My recommendation is go to the location and speak with the manager on site with questions about the storage, they are very helpful. Unfortunately I placed my order over the phone, and you literally get a salesperson who will promise you anything as long as you sign up immediately with them. In my experience, they have all been complete liars, and barely know anything about the storage facility, except address, and pricing. Otherwise it is a very nice place to store your valuables, fairly pricey though, but comparable to other climate controlled facilities.

They really shouldn't have people working there. The entire organization has no people skills. I lost my discounted rate because no one bothered to answer the phone for 3 days. They don't have voice mail and email is pointless. Took thier survey leaving detailed issues. They wrote back stating my current rate. It was obvious that corporate makes them respond to surveys, but they don't want to be bothered. I'm staying because they are so terrible they have to be the cheapest and it's just holiday decorations. But you'd be insane to store anything you care about. You absolutely get what you pay for.

I had units at two different companies and will definitely only ever use Extra Space in the future! The customer service goes above and beyond!! I had family issues going on that made my move in/out and managing of my rental challenging. Mike at extra space, as well as the after hours customer service, we’re kind and understanding and most of all EXTREMELY helpful! When so many things personally were going wrong, what is often a stressful process was one area where I had some stress taken off by how great the staff was at this storage unit company. Extra space storage was easy and great to work with. After my aunt passed away there were items that I just didn’t want to give away but at that time didn’t have the space either. I went alone on a Sunday after booking a spot late Sat night. Office is closed on Sundays. Place is clean and nice with carts available. I would have felt better if there were more security cameras or if place wasnt so hidden behind massive dirt berm but no big deal. Maps or numbers would have been good 1st time there so i would know where to park or where my unit was. I found it difficult to hold door open for cart and banged my arm. Automatic sliding doors would be better. Thanks

(On our actual move-in date to the storage unit, Robert helped us to the location inside the facility and also kept the sliding glass door open so our movers could easily access the elevator and move in our stuff without any hindrances. Haven’t been inside the unit yet but the customer service provided by management has been superior. I needed to rent this unit prior to my move to Georgia so although our interactions have been strictly by phone and email the rental was handled quickly and efficiently. Many thanks! Update: have started moving in now and the facility is clean and well kept however having had to unload in the rain we found there wasn’t adequate cover with the awnings over the walkway and the walkway didn’t allow for getting a trolley easily to the door due to the step. The small standard built in ramp at the door was inadequate to where we were able to park and we had to unload in the rain and push the trolley to the small area where the sidewalk ramped. Our boxes and items were drenched.

Johnny & Mr. T assisted me this morning to obtain a rental unit at the Atlanta Hwy location. They were both very courteous, friendly and helpful. Mr. T and his team go out of their way to make sure everything is ready and waiting for you. The facility is new and kept very clean. Hand carts are available to make you move supper easy. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent customer service from the time we made our storage reservation, to the follow up calls and emails we received to help ensure we understood the process and had all the details of our unit. Excellent management from Taraino Butler and a super clean facility, brand new, and very efficient storage facility. I highly recommend this location based on the leadership (Taraino) staff (Gabby), and cleanliness and pricing.

I had a wonderful experience. Mr. T was friendly and helpful. He didnt have to open the doors for me but he did each time. He was friendly, professional and had a warm smile every time he greeted me. As for the building. ..I've never seen a more secure storage facility. There were a monitor in the office with at least 20 shots of the property. I felt very safe! It smelled clean like ...REALLY clean. I worry sometimes with storages that I'll end up bringing home critters but they clearly do their part and keep the property well maintained. The special was first month free but the rent was still cheap. I like it great bargain..so far so good! 5 stars for sure!

This particular Extra Space is very clean, secure and well-attended. The manager Mr. T is fantastic—very knowledgeable, meticulous, and welcoming, and the property is well-monitored as when I’m there I usually always see one of the management walking the property and keeping it sanitized and spotless. CUSTOMER-FOCUSED is the best way to describe my experience with Taraino Butler, the Manager of this Extra Space facilty. However, I have to back up to my initial phone call to the Extra Space 800 number, where the Representative not only described the differences in two different facilities I was considering, but also called each facility to determine how close together the two storage units I was looking for were to each other in each respective facility. Before I was off the phone with 800 number Rep, Taraino was calling me to facilitate the paperwork. Top of the line, no doubt.

Rates fluctuate and increase often. Storage unit was significantly smaller than a 5'x10' that I thought I was getting, and the price increased on my move in date from the original price that I was told when I reserved the unit. They said the sizes stated/shown for the units are just approximations.

Excellent experience today working with Mr. T on a remote lease for some rental untils I had reserved in Florida for occupancy later this month. With the uncertainty around the virus, I needed to urgently get lease documents completed locally in case of a business shutdown in the near term. Rented a unit here yesterday. Great customer service. Mr. T was great in the phone the day before and told me BJ would be in the office the next day to handle the paperwork. BJ went above and beyond with helping select a unit that fit our needs and setting up the account, access code and even following up later to confirm my personalized code worked. I have been wanting to write this review for a while now. I visited this location the day they opened and Mr. T assisted me. I have never rented a storage unit before. T answered numerous questions for me and was kind and patient (felt like I was catching up with an old friend). The facility is incredibly clean, spacious and feels safe and secure. The service by far exceeded my expectations and I feel confident that my stored items are being managed with a watchful eye. I would give this facility ten stars if I could.
