Acquiring a space that had everything I needed was very quick and simple, stored my stuff there for over a year after a move and never had any issues! I was always able to find a cart, never saw any bugs, never had any problems with the climate control. I would come back if I needed another unit.

Our lease was terminated after only 5 days of renting the unit. We hadn't even finished putting all our item from our recent move into the unit and we were already being told to remove all our items immediately. Our lease was terminated for leaving a carrying cart in the unit overnight. Honestly I was in a hurry and really wasn't even paying attention. You have to be out of the building by 10pm and I was trying to make sure that rule was followed. There are atleast 20 carts there. It wasn't like that 1 was needed . In fact I remember I had left it when I left at closing at 10pm and arrived the next morning at 8am when they opened to retrieve it so I know for a fact no one had to use it while it was missing however I understand why the rule is set I told her it wouldn't happen again and she told me if it happened again my lease would be terminated. I went up to remove the cart and it was already taken from my locked unit. Meaning they entered my unit without permission. Which I wasn't even that worried about but I was like huh if she got the cart before they even opened why on earth did she make a big deal of it. So later that day I went back because I had forgot something and there was a note saying I was actually terminated. How strage to tell someone don't do something again or you will be terminated if you were gonna terminate them anyways. No I haven't called for an explanation. It's probably better Idon't. I just feel like the whole thing was extremely weird.

Go anywhere else! Easily 65% of the time I come to the unit I pay several hundred dollars a month for, something is broken, whether it's the front sliding doors (in ludicrously poor shape, just bump them lightly with the cart as you're going in or out and they come off the track and don't close) or one of the entry gates (one was just broken and unusable for like 3 weeks). Management is the most aggressively rude I have ever encountered across four storage companies in Georgia and South Carolina. They never answer the phone about security issues, they take forever to fix anything, and their terms of service don't even guarantee that they WILL keep the gates and doors in working order. Oh, and they jacked up the price without notifying me, as they've done to other customers here. Don't waste your money here.

Needed to get my stuff out of my unit today they had a planned event to shut off power for the day and they failed to notify any tenant's. When I can get my stuff out I’m changing company’s. They have no parking for climate control it’s hard getting stuff in and out with the layers of security . It’s really just poorly laid out

Cubesmart was a five star, then a 3 star, but they have fallen to the ranks of 1 this evening. They had a planned event to install solar panels. They did not notify the tenants and there was no access when we arrived to move. This was met with ‘you can show up tomorrow and speak to someone by Customer Service.’ Gosh, what if we had been locked inside? That means our things aren't even in climate control and what disappointing customer service.

I love that the lock just inserts into the door but when you pull it out it stays w the key! There's no setting the lock down and misplacing it while moving items! And the rolly carts are wonderful to use! I threw a blanket over a little baby bird who was trapped inside and took him outside ??

I suddenly had empty-nest syndrome as my daughters move out after graduation. Jessica, the manager, was able to translate my nonsensical responses into the perfect storage unit for my beloved treasures. I didn’t know what my next phase of life looked like. BUT I HAD SOMEWHERE SAFE, CLEAN, PEST-FREE & SECURE to leave my things. I know people who have had things stolen from outside units. I couldn’t chance that. Plus my photographs and documents were the bulk of my most precious possessions. Climate-control was a REQUIREMENT. I have a neurological disorder so, I needed first floor access with handicapped design. Jessica took me directly to the unit I rented for two years!!! I’m taking a job as a travel nurse and no longer need storage. Jessica was there to assist me with closing my account. She made every process easy. She is confident in her skills and excellent in her abilities! I’d recommend her staff and facilities anytime!

After renting my unit for 8 months, they went up, without notice, $30/month. I found another company that was half the price and a bigger unit. Shame on them for treating their good customers this way. Moving is never fun, especially from one storage unit to another. Will never rent from them again. Response to business comment: No one has contacted me. I spoke with the store manager 2 times about this increase and she offered $7 off, which is laughable considering I got $77 off moving to a different storage company…and got a bigger unit.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used this storage facility for years. In March 2023 they allowed an Individual to come in with an old ID of mines, present the ID 2xs and allowed this person to have my locks cut and place new locks on storages. Then allowed the individual and her mother to steal my items ( they were on camera ) taking my things. Then when confronted about the incident I was told they weren’t liable as they were “duped” too because she presented an ID. I was then told to contact insurance. Who told me they weren’t responsible to pay me for the items because it wasn’t forced entry. I missed a week of work having to drive 1900 miles to prove I was me. The person is in the process of being prosecuted as she was charged and is a known thief in Athens, Ga. Jessica was helpful in this situation. The District manager was helpful at first and then would not follow up with me and told me they weren’t liable for my loss. I had ALOT of items stolen. Some the detective even found in this individual’s mothers house. Now I am actively taking actions in my own hand as I watched the footage of the incident with Detective Ellis. And identified both individuals who were present in my storage pushing out my personal belongings, electronics, shoes etc. I wasn’t offered any compensation by the company for my loss, They continued to call me concerning payment of items that were left in the storage, didn’t offer ANY resolution to the loss or my remaining few items that were left. Very unprofessional & careless. So anyone can walk into a storage with another persons ID look nothing like the owner, they won’t verify the photo and they will allow them to place new locks and remove items WITH ZERO COMMUNICATION except payment reminders.

UPDATE - now they are saying we can't even send Amazon/Fed-Ex/UPS deliveries which is the compelte opposite of what was told to us when we rented the unit. I was told the person who told me those type of deliveries were allowed "is new". What?? So now I have a unit full of furniture that does not offer a basic delivery service option? Oh - and their website says they accpet deliveries. RUN from this business - they will lie to get your business. We will get out of there as soon as possible and never use this storage unit facility again. My advice - use MidGard!!! Good prices but beware they will not take deliveries on your behalf. You have to meet the delivery trucks at the storage facility and let them in yourself. This isn't true at all storage facilites.

DO NOT USE this facility. First of all I experienced the old "bait and switch" with the pricing. My unit went from $178 a month to $258 a month within two months. If that wasn't bad enough, I moved out of the facility three days after my due date and received a final bill of $535. I was never late with a payment. It's after three trips to the facility (with no one at the office) and several messages to a voicemail that I finally talked to the attendent and was told that "I will be billed until the storage is inspected for damage. The storage was left clean with the unit open as instructed in my agreement.

So far so good! I just began renting a storage unit here. Nice, clean facility and all the staff I’ve interacted with have been very professional and helpful. Update after having rented here for two years: Still GREAT! I was able to easily transfer to a smaller unit at no additional cost, and the staff were very kind and helpful, especially Yelenia and Jessica. They made the experience less stressful than I anticipated. It has been easy to access the unit when I needed an item, and all my belongings continue to be safe and free of damage over my time renting here. I would definitely recommend this CubeSmart to a friend!

Never in my 46 years of age have I been interviewed/questioned about WHAT I was going to be storing, as if it’s anyone’s business. The norm around here, where I’ve rented many spaces to store product overstock, is you are handed a form with the items you are not allowed to store, which include flammables, perishable items, damp/wet items, illegal substances or any kind, live stock, and such. If you ALREADY have a rodent problem, I would like to educate and let you know that mice are attracted to EVERYTHING; including cotton, clothing, boxes, plastic, strings, and everything they can chew on. So when choosing a storage as a business, you “rodent” game must be top notch because you CANNOT control what people are going to store. Don't take my word for it, check your own reviews. I'm pretty sure if I've would have "been someone else" or "dressed to your liking" that question wouldn't have come up. Don't let the decoy duck fool ya'll. Back to the drawing board.

We had an awful experience there today! Short story: Managment has changed. New staff is rude and unprofessional to say the least and seemingly untrustworty. Who knows what's going on there now? If the office staff is this lax, security and pest problems can't be far off. Long story: We had a great experince last year storing our daughter's dorm room things over the summer. The staff was great, the property seemed safe and the unit was clean. So, even though their prices have gone up substantially we decided to rent from them again. Since we didn't want to pay for another lock or for insurancex we had to go to the office in person to sign our lease. I called this afternoon to let them know we would get there around 5:30 and asked if they could go ahead and get all the paperwork ready for us so that we wouldn't keep them past closing time at 6:00. The person I spoke with wasn't very pleasant and stated "We can't start anything without your ID". That stuck me as odd but I felt it was there choice and at least I wouldn't feel bad if we kept them a few minutes late. My husband took off work early and we drove over an hour to get there. When we arrived at 5:40, the office was closed! I called the local number and left a message and then called the national office and spoke to someone in customer service. They were able to reach the local manager who said they had a person onsite who would let us in. That person finally opened the door at 5:55 and said they wouldn't be able to help us because they couldn't get it done in 5 minutes and they had to leave right at 6!! We of course protested and asked them to at least let us sign the paperwork - that we had been waiting for at least 15 minutes for them - but they wouldn't hear it. ?!!??! What the heck??? Although we were very upset at the time, we're thinking now that we probably dodged a bullet. Things have gone downhill there since last year. We will be taking our business elsewhere and letting other UGA parents know to as well. The only bright spot was that we got to see our daughter and take her out to dinner :)

Easy payment system, don't have to give a 30 day notice to vacate. Just to prove that the controlled climate storage really works, the professional movers we hired to pack us and put it in storage, stupidly packed 4 apples and a pumpkin. I'm not even joking. The apples looked perfect but were kind of soft. The pumpkin looked like it was picked yesterday. I'm sure this is the weirdest story you'll get

For starters, the staff was very friendly and helpful in selecting the size of unit that best suited me. With that being said they are not transparent with pricing at all, we selected one for $59 and when we went to sign the lease we were bombarded with misc. fees and other charges that were never disclosed when talking about price per month or initial payment. Your $59 unit turns into almost $80 a month and an initial payment of $121. All in all it seems like a good place to store things when you need to but be prepared to pay a bit more when you go to sign your lease. If I didn’t have the need for it I would have certainly changed my plans just because of the jump in price.

Place wasn't kept up... For a new building it didn't look very new... Was barely "climate controlled"... 2nd floor was ALWAYS hot... Bathroom was unclean... Elevators were dirty with footprints all over the walls... Dead bugs everywhere because the place was never swept... Units were SEVERELY overpriced... Two thumbs down

Unit itself is super clean, easy access. The mobile app is problematic. Initially it would not load on my phone... finally after a day it did load. Sometimes a pain to get cell service to get in and out of the facility. Website is buggy... sometimes works, sometimes it does not. They could do better helping you to find the location of the unit. They send you a map, but they should have layout of the facility on maps at the doors... like you see at the mall.

The online system for starting your rental was simple and never had any problems with anything. I did have to call to end my rental, it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website about how to end the rental (that I could find), but the manager was pleasant and had it taken care of in just a few minutes.

The young lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Having carts available for our trip to the 3rd floor unit made the journey easy and bearable! It felt so good inside the climate controlled building while we moved! Access to the unit was great!

First, I called to see if there was availability at this space, and the man on the phone was very nice and clear about his recommendations and even told me about a promotional discount they were having. I didn’t have any questions after speaking on the phone with him. I then went into the actual location to see the space I was renting, and the regional manager (I believe her name was Jessica Sears) made me feel like my whole visit was an inconvenience to her. She had a snarky attitude, and I expected the manager to elaborate more on the pricing of the unit and how rent works, but she did not know the prices or elaborate on the promotional discount going on right now. Overall, she wasn’t clear about anything on the lease or how much or what I was paying for, and it was a very unpleasant experience. She was also very rude about how my boyfriend was in the office with me. I understand the need for social distancing right now but she could have worded it nicer for my boyfriend to leave the office, especially when she works in customer service.
