I have been utilizing cube smart as my storage facility since 7/12/23. From that day forward there have been constant issues. Firstly when I went in to sign my paperwork on a time crunch in between work, and I made the young lady aware that I had my own lock and she told me that I would need to return the green lock that was on the unit (not even mentioning to return the other lock that is usually sold or added to the unit cost). I told her that I wasn't moving into the unit until 7/28/23 and she never mentioned that I would be charged if I didn’t return the lock within 48hrs although I literally told her when I planned to move in. Two days later I get a voicemail from the same lady saying I was being charged a late fee for not returning the green lock. I hadn't even accessed the unit yet because I wasn't moving for another 2 weeks, Not to mention I brought my lock with me the day I signed my papers so why wouldn’t she say "ma'am you should put the lock on the unit now so you wont be charged because you only have 48hrs from TODAY!". The second issue occurred the week of my move when I found a puddle of water in my unit on the Monday 7/24. I called the manager and made them aware of the puddle and took pictures and put in a work request to have it fixed and prior to me moving in on that Friday 7/28. The day of move in my door code wouldn’t work, there was a sign on the door that the lady would be back at a specific time (we waited an hour and she never came back/30mins past time). I call corporate again to see if I can get another code. They provided a emergency door code that I had to use for 2 months because it was never fixed (I addressed this issue with the same young lady btw face to face when I came to check if the water issue was addressed, midweek). The third issue occurred 11/19 when I needed to access my unit to get some work items. Well, that didn't happen because there was a red lock on my unit enabling me from accessing it as if my account wasn't paid to date (they had just retrieved their payment on 11/12). I called corporate again explaining the issue. The woman was very understanding and stated that there was nothing mentioning the purpose of the lock on my unit so it must've been a mistake. I specifically asked to speak to the regional manager to resolve the matter. I was told that regional managers are required to call within 48hrs which would have been 11/21 and here it is 12/27, I never received a call from ANYONE within that time frame! I had to go purchase more work items the next day, when I should have been able to access my own. I called the store 4x on 11/20 and got no answer or returned call until that evening. I was called by the store manager again, who was very nice (but still no upper management) on 11/27 letting me know that the regional manager applied a $42 discount on my rent that I was notified a week earlier (via mail) was going up $42. So he basically discounted me the difference of what I was already paying every single month ON TIME! Must I mention the list of other issues that I've experienced such the door being stuck open for anyone to access the facility, the disgusting bathroom, two dolly’s for a 100+ unit facility (so imagine multiple people moving in on the same day), the elevator light the was broken (dark for two months), completely full humidity bags I keep and have to change monthly in my unit due to moisture (probably also due to the thermostat being kept on the highest temp listed in contract 80° in blazing summer temps and at the lowest in winter months). This has been by far the worse storage renting experience I have ever had and I don't plan on staying! I really hope they find some resolutions for the facility and customers like me who've had to suffer through these inconveniences and poor customer service. I would not recommend to anyone ever.

I was VERBALLY ASSAULTED! At this point just say the bathroom is for staff use only so no one will have to go through what I went through! I kindly asked the black female with the black skullcap and tiny braids to use the bathroom! She immediately got disrespectful stating that when she is not there NO ONE WILL BE USING THIS BATHROOM! I’m like okay! 3 minutes into using the restroom she starts banging on the door like a psychopath! She immediately lies and says someone else needed to go but I was the only person there! Then she goes on this rant about how people are keeping the bathroom nasty and washing dishes in the sink! I told her that it had absolutely nothing to do with me! But she continued her rant yelling and degrading me and belittling me! I’ve never seen her before in my life for her to be accusing me of these things! I had rented a storage unit since May and had been happy until this incident! She answered all of my questions and took me to see all the sizes I needed to view to make a decision. She was patient and took the time to explain my options, requirements, and next steps. I came back a few weeks later to move in and was met with the same level of quality service. During both visits, the property was clean, as well as the halls and units I viewed.

The customer service is terrible. They charged my card for a month that I no longer occupied the storage unit. No one ever answers at the store nor the store manager line. I went by and was promised the charge would be reversed and it was not. This has been going on for weeks now. I left several messages for the district manager, Debbie Kelly, and she also has not returned my calls. Even when I stopped by they were rude to other customers as well.

The facility was clean and easily accessible. I rated a 9 instead of 10 (4 instead of 5) because there was rarely anyone there at the front desk, especially during the time I was vetting out storage facilities and which meant I made a couple of trips there to view the available units. However, the communication channels (800 number, and email), billing, and entry were great. So overall, the process from beginning to end would make me use this facility again should I need storage.

We decided to get a storage unit, researched local rental places, reserved a unit, drove up and looked at it, rented it, and were able to start loading it up within a 2 hour period. Mr. Quincy Willis and Ms. Amanda Dosh were so great with all of our questions and sat with us while I read the entire contract. This is easily the nicest and least expensive place around. Also, their policies are not to be beaten - no commitment month to month!!! The managers took time to show us around the facility, show us how the storage unit doors and locks work, show us the entryway, and try out our new passcode to get in to ensure it worked. They really spent time with us to make us comfortable. Easily the easiest part of the moving process was working with CubeSmart, Quincy Willis, and Amanda Dosh!

I just rented a cube from the S. Atlanta Road Cubesmart for two months. Overall, the storage unit was what we needed but my experience with management was negative. I would probably rent another storage unit through CubeSmart in the future but not from this location. Be aware that you will be forced to buy a specific type of lock which they sell you but don't tell you about in advance. They also don't notify you when you make a reservation but you need to bring your insurance declaration with you if you have a home policy; otherwise, they will charge you automatically a monthly fee. I felt that they intentionally left out the details of the lock and insurance as they are add-on fees over and above the pricing that they quote you when you make a reservation. A little more transparency from management at this location would go a long way.

I decided to rent from Cube Smart after first going to 'Your Extra Attic' less than a mile away. The Cube Smart rep was nice, knowledgeable and the prices are affordable and make sense (i.e., not overpriced because of the Vinings location). The building is clean, climate controlled and secure. I would recommend this to anyone looking for storage. UPDATE: Jan 2021 - I decided to move to another storage space after the second rate increase in less than 18 months. I've had spaces at other locations for years without any change in price. Please keep this in mind prior to renting.

I stored my items here for 7 years while living abroad. The rent nearly doubled during that time. That is acceptable with inflation, however, the staff does not seem to take into account long time customers. I think they just want new customers in and to hell with old. Also, the original property manager had a major attitude problem. I was glad to see her go. Recently, I had a friend move into his own unit and he forgot to mention that I referred him. Once I notified the CubeSmart staff of this, they refused to honor the 1 month free promotion for referrals. To me, if a customer has been paying every month, on time, for seven years, you can make a small accommodation for their patronage. When businesses do not recognize that customers have many other options, that speaks volumes. Anyways, happy storing.

Quincy was exceptional. We had an unexpected move & needed a storage space immediately. He helped my family & I get everything situated in less than 30 mins. (Including viewing the storage space & signing contract). My CubeSmart experience was a good one thanks to Quincy I’ll most definitely recommend them (especially this location) to anyone I know that needs some storage space.

This facility is so clean and customer friendly. The front office is exceptional and offers many conveniences. The climate control feature is essential in the Atlanta climate. Rosa was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as she assisted me in choosing a storage unit. I highly recommend this easily accessible facility.

I started using this storage location after being absolutely outraged by the lack of customer service at another storage location not even 3 miles down the road!! I was greeted with open arms as soon as I walked in the front door at Cube Smart!! The entire renting experience was easy and very professional. From a business standpoint, I couldn't have asked for better service. You won't regret using this storage location to fulfill all of your commercial or personal storage needs!!

Checked several storage places around NW Atlanta. Decided to go with CubSmart on S Atlanta Rd. The facility is well kept: clean, clutter free and evenly climate controlled. Access is secure with generous space for ease of loading and unloading. The sales rep Keionna was personable, informed and professional in her demeanor. Price point is competitive with value added for the reason previously mentioned.

Based on reviews such as these, my husband and I decided to try CubeSmart to store some items for a relative. Kent couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating when we arrived at the Atlanta Road site. The facility is immaculate and temperature/humidity controlled. We couldn't have been more pleased. I am a new fan of CubeSmart Self Storage on S. Atlanta road. I have rented many, many storage spaces throughout the years and this is my first time renting from CubeSmart and thus far am I quite pleased with the space, the customer service provided by Brandon and the ease of move- in. Brandon even came to check on me during my move-in when I dismissed my movers and completed the move myself. When he didn't see me leave with them he came upstairs to ensure that all was well. You cannot pay for that type of service today. I would recommend them to anyone.

When it boils down to it, storage is storage some would think. Personally, I have had about 8 units in my lifetime. The customer service has never been better. Absolutely a pleasant experience. Everyone was very personable, yet very professional. They took the necessary time with each customer - including myself - to properly answer all of my questions and explain the rental agreement. Kent is an amazing guy. He's a natural for his job.
