I’m giving Lia who we had the pleasure of working with yesterday 5 stars not so much this location (Adams Drive NW, 30318). She’s the only person who has been helpful and pleasant to work with. We’ve come to storage multiple times needing help and no one is even there or they are closed when they should be open without warning. Lia was phenomenal and was filling in from another location.

I went to the location to make payment and begin rental of a unit I reserved and no one was there. A sign in the window said they will return at 12:55. I waited until 1:45 and got tired of waiting so I left. I called and left messages but nobody ever returned my call. I decided to go with another storage that was more dependable and respectful to the customer. They should really hold this person accountable so that they don’t lose more business. Word spreads fast and all your left with are the customers who are equal to the service you provide. I will say that I met a manager from another location that was filling in when I first looked at the place and she was top notch! Too bad they can’t find more of her to work. I witness many people come and go that day at this location only to be disappointed that a sign was up that was an hour past the return time.

We rented a unit that was online and said first floor you should let customers know that first floor actually is the second floor and B is base level or basement level is actually the first floor but it said first floor I didn’t say we would have to get on the elevator. we also asked to attend it when we called so it’s a little misleading.

Don’t rent from this storage these people lock the doors to the restrooms preventing you from using the bathroom even tho you pay to use the faculty. Then there’s times the elevator doesn’t work. It’s a worthless storage place.

I had already rented a unit from CubeSmart in a different (but close-by) location, when I was renovating my home. It was a very smooth and seamless process. The units are clean and spacious and more importantly they are temperature-controlled. Customer service is wonderful and everyone I had dealt with was nice and very eager to help.

Workers seem to run on their own time and are never in office. I personally waited outside for 30 minutes to check in to my storage unit but never got to do so because the worker never showed up at the time which they said they were going to be back at 1:15pm and by the time i left at 2:00 they were still not there. I am very unsatisfied with this cubesmart location and their staffing.

Update 5/10: The matter was resolved. The weekday daytime manager was much more knowledgeable & helpful, even though he couldn’t locate the package himself. A few days later, He called both the recipient & me personally when the post office attempted to deliver again a few days later. It turns out that the mail carrier marked as “delivered” instead of “attempted” over the weekend, when the weekend attendant refused the package both due to incorrect unit number & no spare key & permission form on file. Whenever one calls to speak to the manager & follows the automated prompts to do so, no one ever answers during business hours. I mailed a package to one of the tenants, with the unit number clearly marked, but somehow, no one knows where it or any employees are. I had to file reports with both Atlanta Police & USPIS for suspected theft.

The customer service is terrible. They told me they would allow me to stay for a couple extra days, and that they would make a note in my file. Then proceeded to charge me the full amount for a MONTH when it was a couple days. And they conveniently didn't have any note on file and told me there was nothing they could do. I would have just moved my stuff out before then if I knew that would happen. They are also rarely there in person to help out, and don't often answer phone calls. UPDATE--When they respond on here that you can email them, they will never respond to your message. The response on Google is just to appear as though they are helping, when they won't. 2nd UPDATE--Now they're trying to charge me for yet another month, when I'm not using the facility and this month hasn't even passed. This company is evil, and just wants to take your money for absolutely nothing.

My experience at this cube smart location was phenomenal! From the time we entered the building to inquire about a unit until move out, Ashley was absolutely amazing! I paid for the unit online and instead of getting a first floor unit, like I paid for, I got a unit on the second floor, labeled "1". Second, I was assured that my paid unit would be open and it was still locked when I arrived. I had a truck (also had been paid for) full of furniture. So, I had to pay another moving company to bring the rest of my things the next day. All because my choice of CubeSmart wasn't so smart.

I've been here for a few months and my rent has gone up $20 a month. I was told there's no guarantee it won't continue to go up. I was told that's how storage units work and when spaces aren't filled they increase prices. My question is do the prices go down when "enough" spaces are filled? I've had a storage unit before for several years and the price never increased anywhere near that amount, if at all. During my visits carts are usually hard to find as well if you can find them. This is when no cars are outside. So I'm assuming no one is there and I've searched several floors. Do some research on storage units and price match. Also see if they can guarantee your rent stays a certain amount for at least a year. Increasing prices during a pandemic with people struggling is what this place has decided to do. I would have be more ok with a minor increase. But $20 with the idea that it could go up each month. Stress is the word. Don't get trapped. Do some research. Don't get sucked in with those short term promos either.
