The good: My check in experience was good. LaTasha was helpful and informative. She answered all my questions and concerns honestly. The price was good too. The bad: The front door doesn't work and people walk in off the street. Scary people. The Ugly: There was a lot of debris in the halls and common areas.

Make sure you get your own locks staff has master keys to locks obtained by them they go in your storage unit take your items and re lock your storage. Then you can’t get in touch with corporate to complain I lost over 100,000$ worth of items and they trashed my storage if I could give a negative star I would they say u can’t access the building after 10pm but I witnessed people staying in the building while waiting for the police please find another storage company if you want your items.

Had a lock put on unit, error on their behalf of staff . There is no one on premises to take it off. Trash all around building and water in breezeways that smells like sewage. Good luck getting a call back to resolve any issues. Even the call center has no ability to resolve issues.

Horribly maintained location. They’re a lot of dodgy people that hang around the location and their trash area is usually a disaster. I stored with them for six months, and came back from outside the country with roaches in some of my stored items. They initially had mulitiple Dollie’s for moving furnishing. Upon returning they had none which wasn’t expected and made move out difficult. Consider another location if you can.

This place is uh, how do I put this nicely… This place is GARBAGE compared to the other cubesmarts. The “access controlled” Doors are never locked, like ever, and I know cause I have been there after 12am before and no code was ever needed. The employees there have got to be either mentally handicapped, or just ignorant!! What kind of idiot(swear to god this actually happened) literally pulled a piece of my furniture off the elevator, but WOULD NOT LET ME OFF THE DAMN THING CAUSE “the door was closing and you gone get stuck if they close that way” Im sorry what?!? I argued with this jackass for 10 minutes about HOW THE ELEVATOR DOORS WILL REOPEN AUTOMATICALLY IF SOMETHING IS IN THEIR WAY FROM CLOSING?!? Like, he got mad at me cause I shoved my way out of that elevator, and was trying to ask me my unit number so he could make a note about how rude I was. I told him to kick rocks literally, and walked out the door and left. If this place wasn’t so damn cheap for the size unit I have, I would go elsewhere because this place should be a example of what happens when you don’t care about how your facility looks, or how its customers are treated

over charged for a tiny storage, my $165 monthly storage rent was consistently increasing at large amounts. I was storage facility that didn’t have working elevators, trash everywhere, only 1 entrance door is operational and there was someone living in the stair well. I do not recommend, there is another storage until less than a mile down the road and other units that do charge the amount mentioned for a small unit for a few items.

Do not rent from here and do not trust any of the 5 star reviews, they are not only untrue, but all start exactly the same stating how great Tiwauna is. It is either some kind of automated bot creating reviews or friends of Tiwauna. I have been renting from this place for a year solely due to the location but I have finally hit my breaking point and will be moving to a different facility. This place is in constant disarray. The elevator is constantly broken, the carts are never anywhere to be found, but most importantly, the front door has been broken for months with no signs of ever getting it fixed. If the way to get into this facility is to just pull the "locked" door open, then what's to stop anyone off the street to walk in and start taking things? (See picture). This door has seriously been broken for over 5 months. Your sole job as a company is to provide a secure place for people to store things, but your first line of defense is asking people to not touch your broken door that is very easy to get through. I've been told of a few break ins over the past year but that's only when I asked. They also hiked my rate $45 a month with no warning or justification other than they can. I cannot emphasize to you enough, do not utilize this facility to store anything. A truly terrible experience.

The priced changed on my unit with very little notice. The location became unsafe due to the homeless people hanging around and living there. The upkeep of the property is poor and the front door was always broken. One of the elevators kept breaking also. The manager claimed that the storage facility up the street - Extra Storage Space - was also having an issue with the homeless population which isn’t true.

Spend the few extra dollars to rent from a legitimate business. The ratings that this business currently has are a joke. This place is an absolute mess. It is very obvious that the management here doesn't care about the quality of their customer experience or business. I've been renting a unit here since right after this location opened, and with the exception of moving my stuff in the first time, there has been something out of order every single time I've visited. Today when I visited, BOTH elevators and BOTH doors were malfunctioning to some degree. I honestly don't know how it's possible to have the elevators break down so often, but I do not feel safe using them. Even if you get a ground level unit, you can expect the doors to break on an alarmingly regular basis. As you can see from some of the other photos, when you CAN find a cart to use, they are in terrible shape. Even when the building was new, Ive never seen new ones. They genuinely look like they've been pulled from a dumpster, and the handle has come off of at least two that I've used. Silver lining of my visit today, I guess, is that I was able to find a comically undersized and rusted cart to use, and they've removed most of the urine smell from the more frequently running elevator since my last visit.

This place is the WORST! I'm helping my sister get her stuff out...if that's even possible because THE ELEVATORS ARE ALWAYS BROKEN! She's been renting there for almost two years and I think one of the two elevators have worked maybe twice when we were there. There's never anyone in the office and if you manage to actually find a cart, it's most likely broken as well.

Beware of credit card fraud. I selected my storage unit and was planning to move in within one week, signed my agreement and paid my first months rent but never received my access codes. When I called to confirm my move in, I was told I did not have a reservation and my payment had not been made. Now I have to dispute a charge on my credit card for this fraudulent activity.

The most ghettoest storage ever. The store manager does all she can so I’m blaming upper management. 1st day I entered my storage there were trash bags full of trash, boxes full of trash…etc. Not to mention I was not provided my lock until later. An ongoing problem that I have is the amount of carts available for tenants. From what I can see, there are only 3 carts available and one of them is without handles. You literally have to wait your turn or argue about who showed up first. Oh, and one of the elevators is out of service.

Worst place to store your items. The manager is the most disrespectful, ignorant, woman working there. She took the dolly that we were using and told my bf that I was the one being aggressive when she's the one that approached us. I don't recommend this place even to my worst enemy. Unless you have a child mindset and tolerate older people talking to you in a disrespectful manner then by all means go here but other than that I do NOT recommend.

The whole building has only two carts, one of which someone has pulled the handle off of, so there's no way to actually maneuver it! How are you supposed to get your stuff to/from your storage unit without a cart?!? I mentioned this repeatedly to the people working there and it was clear that they didn't feel like it was any business of theirs to deal with this issue. Ridiculous. Would never use this storage space again, even if there weren't twenty plus competitors within a mile or two, which there are. Stay away. Edited to say: I just read some of the other reviews - wish I had seen them before. About all the 5-star reviews, these are very obviously mostly fake accounts with repetitive language in the reviews used over and over - if whoever took the trouble to post all those fake 5 star reviews had used 10% of that time to fix all the problems that are driving customers away, maybe this place wouldn't be such a dump. On top of all that, it seems like every time someone posts a negative review, there is a "helpful" reply from "owners" (a bot, I'm guessing), offering to assist with any problems the customer may have faced. But, reading through the reviews, it's obvious that the place has been facing the same problems for months and no one is doing anything about it. Really, it's sort of shocking considering that this place was brand new just about 2 years ago. It's like a case study in how to wreck a business.

Everything I own is molded because I entrusted in this cube smart. Everything now has to be trashed including my couch and bed. Apparently their air conditioner had faulted unbeknownst to me. The icing on the cake is even though I have been paying for their insurance they are not liable. In addition to losing all my belongings I will be charged until I hire movers to remove the garbage that use to be my home. I'm devastated. It's giving scam!

This place is a dump. The carts are broken, the elevators work half the time and make a sound like they’ll break at any minute. The staff is rude if you try to ask for help, and they act like you’re inconveniencing them by being there. On top of all of it, I’m paying for a unit that turned out to be smaller than what I signed up for. I’m actively looking for another place to store my items. You should steer clear.

Nobody answers the phone. The Places disgusting it smells like urine and all elevators. The elevators are frequently broke. They will not return phone calls.. The main doors are not locked and secured with a code so anybody can go in there. People have Peed in the elevators. Operational clean carts are locked in the office during normal business hours. No employees can be found, if you happen to find the employee you have to leave your drivers license in order to use a cart. If the employee is missing there is one broke cart with an extension code tied to it you’re welcome to use. The automatic doors are non functional so they’re either wide open or you have to manually push them open, so having a code is unnecessary, needless to say your storage facility is not secure. I believe that’s why my things are covered in mold, with the doors being open I don’t believe the hvac system can operate properly, so there is no climate control. There is an ever growing pile of trash next to the dumpster and the elevators don’t work 90% of the time. Absolutely a horribly operated and maintained facility.

Do not believe any of the 5 star reviews. These are obviously friends of the so-called management. Someone needs to call the City, better business bureau, OSHA etc. on this place. I have had my belongings stored at this location since June. It was brand new when we moved in. I could not remove my stored items faster. There is mold, rats, bugs, spiders, broken doors, garbage piled up, homeless people etc. So-called upper management finally contacted me after weeks of complaints. They were not accommodating. They did admit that there was a leak causing mold, broken entry door's and weeks of trash piled up. These conditions still exist. If you are storing at this location, your belongings are not safe and if you have respiratory issues your will get sick. There is also no management or security at this location. Good luck getting upper managers, CEO's etc. to respond. Memorial Drive Manager: George Vazquez, Senior Div VP: Justin Brewer never responded to several complaints. Security self storage on Memorial drive is where I am moving everything. They are fully staffed, climate controlled, no-trash and have box trucks available to use. Insurance will need to be filed to cover all the unsalvageable molded items.

It is clear to say this is a newer Cubesmart but it has went to Hell in a very short time. There is no security, there are Raunchy ratchet customers that move in and leave trash all over the place and destroys a property. What needs to happen is the upper management meaning the general managers the higher ups need to facilitate a different action get those people out or get a security guard or fix the problem internally where people cannot leave the doors open which allows for any and every body access my unit has been not just broken into but thoroughly vandalize my unit ransacked It’s terrible and this is what it looks like outside when it didn’t look like this before so it’s kinda hard to kind of want to stay in the area and put your belongings in a place like this

My experience here started out great but went down hill FAST! One day I wanted to pick up/drop off a few items that were critical to my move, upon arrival I saw that the sliding doors had been totally broken and would not open. It looked like someone had broken it and went in and I was a little afraid of potential robbers inside of the building. When I called the following day to report this incident, the gentleman said he would credit me $25 for my troubles and he said that he was fed up with working there. Not very professional. I still do not see the $25 in my account. He told me that I would have a grace period for a few days after my move out day and that once I moved out I would have to let them know via phone or in person. Every time I'm there, I see no one at the office and the voice mail is always full so I cant even leave a message. I would not recommend this place.

If I could give negative, I would. I was moving from another company due to the constant rent increase, since the pricing is not bad at CubeSmart. You just have to fear for your safety. I was waiting for the doors to open but they were jammed and took 20 minutes, they only had one cart that was missing the handles, the smell was gross and then when we got to the second floor, we were accosted by a homeless woman living in there. I called corporate and they said if she pays to have a unit there, there isnt much they could do and so after waiting 2 hours for the police, who didn’t show up, we went back upstairs and grabbed what we had moved in. The lady was screaming and getting mad. Come to find out from the manager, this has happened before! Do NOT trust your items at this place. Its not safe and even though it is brand new, its clearly already falling apart.

Tiwana Bounds is the manager at the new facility on Memorial Dr. I was too car to pay cash during office hours. Cube smart closed in 15 minutes, I was 30 away as well as I was $2 shy on my debit card. I informed Miss Tiwana of my predicament, she informed me of the welcoming process. Pled with her to complete the process although I had not completed the payment and once I arrived after closing, I had a pleasant call with Richard/Reshawn in customer service who expeditiously activated an emergency code (I didn’t pay in time for the manager to activate my code) but once I got to the unit, I found my welcome gift as well as the lock!! This CubeSmart location is incredibly clean and brand new. The service was top notch and very streamlined. Tiwauna, the manager, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. She made the whole process enjoyable, which is a tall task for anyone involved in a move! I am very grateful she was here to check me in and help! Highly recommend this location.

I spoke with Ms. Tiwauna over the phone about my reservation prior to coming to claim my storage space and lock. She was so very helpful and kind. She gave me a tour of the storage facility and made sure I was aware of all my options and that I chose what I think best fits my needs. Ms. Tiwauna Bounds is Professional, friendly, and thorough. The facility is located in a prime location. The inside is new, clean, and well maintained. I like the fact that the property is well lit as you walk through the interior lights are automatic. I would utilize this facility again.
