No bueno. Entire city went through Hurricane Helen and people lost homes, lives, property and power for days if not weeks. Some people, like myself and others in the school system, are still waiting to return to work. What this inconsiderate establishment did was charge you your whole rental fee, plus tack on LATE FEES. The office was closed for 5 days and not one prorated account. In-office management basically stared at me and said there was nothing she could do. Perfect. Also, what they quote you online and what you end up paying in store is totally different. Wish I would have read the reviews before choosing this place. Google POM Storage in Greer, SC. The best team in the entire south east! Nothing compared to CubeSmart and the team there. We are all human, however y’all’s lack of concern is clearly unwavering

Because I can't give it no stars, I have to give it one. I would NOT recommend CubeSmart to anyone. That raise the rental fees a couple of times a year. We had our truck stored here for a few years, it is a family heirloom that needs work done to it. All of sudden we get one email and a letter telling us that we have 2weeks from the date of the letter to completely fix the vehicle and have it in running condition or else it would be towed. Keep in mind it had been stored there for years with no issues about it's condition. The attitude of the employee when I called to inquire about our situation was as if I was beneath her and wasn't worthy of her time. She tried to tell me that they had been trying to contact me viabemail(I only received the one) and via phone(my call history shows no calls from the establishment) and they would not extend the deadline of removal to allow us to make other arrangements. If you like paying lots for a small area of storage, then yep this is the place for you. I personally would recommend ANY OTHER storage company!!

Started at $68 a month and in four years of loyalty the steadily increased the rates to more than double the amount(almost a $100 increase=$164 end monthly rate), making it hard to pay on time. They NEVER had a late payment until the price increase. They would call and threaten to sell our property with in days of the past due date. BULLIES!

The company was horrible from the time I moved in. Employee was never in the office. He transferred the phones to his cell phone, argued with customers because he wasn’t at work. The fat was always broken. You either couldn’t get in or once you were in you were locked in. The current manager is rude and unprofessional. Even after leaving several messages with corporate for over 3 months corporate failed to reach out until after I left a bad comment on social media.

If it wasn't for Vicki, I would have hightailed it out of their office two minutes after I arrived. She truly saved the day. Upon my arrival, I was "intercepted" at the door by an unnamed associate (because she wore no name tag) who obviously had a chip on her shoulder. She was definitely NOT holding the door open for me, Rather, it was as if she were blocking my entrance. She menacingly and crisply inquired, "How can I help?" I said, "Hi," and she repeated again, "How can I help?" Needless to say, I was immediately taken aback. She asked me whether I had a reservation. I replied that I did not and calmly explained to her that I was there to inquire about renting storage space. While I was still standing outside the door (and without further attempting to determine my storage needs) she then asked me what size unit I needed, while grudgingly opening the door further, stepping aside, and finally allowing me enter. I must have passed the test... Instead of welcoming me, she blurted out, "What are you trying to store?" Now we were getting somewhere, so I told her. But, instead of recommending a specific-size unit, she pointed to the wall at a poster and told me to look and see what size I might need. I was incredulous and started wondering if maybe I had made a mistake in choosing this particular storage facility. That's when Vicki, the other associate in the office, stepped up to the plate and interjected herself into the conversation. Thankfully, she took over from there and explained everything to me and recommended a specific unit and even took me on a tour and showed me one of the available spaces to determine whether it was suitable to my needs. I am so grateful for Vicki rescuing me from the other woman, since it was blatantly obvious that she did not really want to help me and could not even answer my questions (or simply did not want to). Her attitude and demeanor were such that I was surprised she actually was in a position to interact with potential customers. Her personality exuded negativity. Vicki, on the other hand, was such a friendly, pleasant, genuine, helpful and knowledgeable associate. She sealed the deal. Were it not for her, I would likely still be looking for an alternative. She is, without question, a valuable employee of this facility, and a true gem. They are lucky to have her as an employee and I consider myself lucky she was working there that day. I like the fact that extra space storage is VERY clean and they offer climate controlled units. The storage units are accesible for 15 + hours everyday which is convenient. Kisha is always personable when I call! She has excellent customer service skills. The only thing I don’t like is that Extra Space does not offer a “locked” rate, so my rental fee keeps going up every couple of months.

This storage facility has been perfect for me as I’m currently in the process of moving. The rental process was seamless and the staff was very friendly. When it comes to Extra Space Storage, Mrs. Julie, took great care of me my family nearly lost everything house, vehicle, job.... Julie informed me everything will work out I'm praying for you. Now normanlly people say just that much and keep it moving, but julie showed action what my own family did not do. Our storage was not in good standards as far as loosing everything I received a phone call I could hardly hardly breathe. Julie, said didn't I tell you someone was gone come through and help you. She blessed me to keep my belongings and yet still had funds to move etc. Y'all Mrs. Julie has the best Storage unit in Augusta/Hephzibah, area clean, no bugs very well maintained security is an +. The manager is a wonderful lovely woman. She was extremely courteous and gave an amazing price. Especially if your like me needing a unit when your down on your luck You can tell the units are cleaned Regularly. I can't show my appreciation enough for her helping me get a unit and still left me enough to get a lock instead of trying to make me buy her company $20+ locks. If your down on your luck or just need somewhere to store your stuff. This is the place. Cheaper than everyone else in the immediate area not only to start but also in the long run. atleast in my situation this applies. I recommend anyone wanting to store anything atleast consult extra storage as an option.

Tiffany was so personable and downto earth. She walked me through everything, answering all my questions. She was quick and efficient, understanding we had just arrived off an 8 hour trip. There was no surprises in the cost. The unit was clean and a great size for the price. Thank you Tiffany for amazing customer service.

Have 4 banners saying first month free in front of store, but when I asked they said the promotion had ended. When I asked for a truck they told me they don't have any for this location. Got quoted for $85 bucks a month over phone, but failed to mention that I had to pay for lock and insurance, bringing total to $112. For some dumb reason, storage unit is only open til 10pm, not 24 hours, despite being the gate being automated. Their lucky I'm PCS-ing so soon and options are limited, or I would have used another service.

The very friendly staff was great. I called them when we were expected to hear from moving van, but ended hanging up, Tiffany called me which surprised me. Movers were in storage are and where our spots were. I've never had one person call like that. They were awesome!!!
