I set up my unit online so I never needed someone from the office to help out. When I originally started my lease the gate was broken so I was able to through without using my code. A month later the gate was fix and lo and behold my access code doesn’t work. I tried it 3 times and it then locked me out of the system. Had to call customer service TWICE in a week to give me a temp code so I could get in. The customer service agents are the only ones that can help you. There is always a piece of paper printer saying they’re closed so I’m trying to figure out if there’s ever anyone inside. It’s actually sickening that you can’t get access to your stuff in the middle of the day in the middle of the work week. If you’re needed storage for less than a month then yeah Id recommend. If you need anything longer than 60 days save your money and book elsewhere.

RATS !!! Came to move my things out of storage and upon collecting my belongings I saw not only rat poop but damage to some of my things due to them. There was not any traps in the unit nor surrounding the unit, and yes this is an inside unit! Insurance that you get through them does not cover damage due to pests. This unit has failed me. Furthermore all the money that is being paid for a secure storage, and the gate is on the ground and this isn’t the 1st time. The guy working in the store blatantly stated that “we’ve had pest control come out a couple of times”. So now I’m being told that they won’t do anything to compensate for the loss that I took. This is unacceptable!!

The manager was extremely helpful and kind from start to finish!!! I highly recommend this location! It was clean, affordable, and she worked with me in a respectful, professional, and kind manner! If you want accurate information about your file, always ask to speak to the manager, I believe her name is Brittany. The guy that works in the office doesn’t give out accurate information and it can lead to additional fees and confusion, but Brittany is awesome!!!! They are very hard to get a hold of via phone though, so you may want to book online or stop by during office hours in order to talk to someone.

The old Anderson Farm location is very hard to get in touch with someone at the front office. It seems they never answer the phone, they very seldom call you back and there is always a note on the door every week of why they are not going to be open.when I questioned Brittany about it, she stated she does not make the schedule, but it doesn’t seem like there is schedule. It seems I need to hire more workers. They are super friendly when you can catch them in the office.

Rented a unit online 20 mins prior to closing. With this in mind, I sped up there not expecting anything more than to be told where the unit is & sign paperwork. Walked in and the manager on duty (she looks to be hispanic in her late twenties- typically has her curly hair in a ponytail) had an awful attitude. I didn't make a big deal considering I knew I booked it last minute but if the customer is being understanding and is willing to work with you, why be so nasty? Telling me I have to complete the rental process online rudely, just having a nasty tone and energy overall. When mentioning her poor energy, she said "I didn't say anything rude to you or anything." Body language, tone, etc is real in case she was unaware- especially as a manager! Despite me booking it last minute, I was aware and expected no more than to pay and sign paperwork. I wasn't rude or entitled, I was just asking questions in regards to taking care of everything online as she mentioned due to them closing. She even said "we don't take people after 5." How do you not take people after 5 if you close at 6? Maybe she was just having a bad day? I'm not sure but I do know her attitude and energy was uncalled for and if she's a manager, I can only imagine who's hired above her and below her. Bless her heart and this location.

Find another storage facility/company or location. This location although convenient to Walmart and goodwill, it is poorly ran, staff is unprofessional and never available most times. They never answer phone most times. Facility has roaches (mostly dead) that migrate into units. Facility is always cold or under temperature. Ceilings are falling down in some units where you can see foam. If you think im lying, check out 3rd floor near unit 3121. No trash or bathroom conveniently located. Dollie beds to move items are extremely limited. All the money they charge they are so cheap and mean with this. Only 2 is every available and in most cases are being occupied. Gate is always damaged and currently damaged. Safety and security is a concern. and pricing let me tell you, RUN if you can. They may appear to have competitive pricing at first but i was being charged almost $400 a month and it was increased 3 months ago by $70 and absolutely no reason for this with such a poorly ran and broken down facility. Will never recommend a single soul or person to rent here. Regional Manager or location manager should be fired for having a location ran so bad. #ripoff. I was here waay too long hoping for change and understanding.

She made even a slightly irritating check in very pleasant...my cashapp card was lost right before and she worked it out anyway with a different method and some patience. She's a good one. Give that one a raise ot promotion or some regional recognition. She has a great customer service attitude and is a cool person just in general. I used to lead a sales team at a furniture retailer and I would be prepping her to move up if I were her supervisor. Thanks for a great experience! Will send my friends!

Omg this place here needs work the gate has been torn up for awhile now. Everytime I go it's never a cart to load your stuff. I mean it should b 3 or 4 on every floor. We shouldn't hv to go searching. Hw much money they collect the gate should b fixed and carts should b available.

I had a unit in Austell, GA on Old Anderson Farm Rd, and I moved my small things out to put bigger items in. When I drove out of the gate on Saturday 7/9/22 they closed my account, I called on Monday and no answer. I was advised that they was closed, and was told that they’re unsure why that happen. I called to speak to corporate regarding my concern on Tuesday and was told they will be sending an email to district manager Debbie Kelly, but on Wednesday I received a call from someone in the local office saying that they will not pro rate my account. I told them that they closed my account, I was not finished with the unit plus my bill wasn’t due again until the 17th. I called customer service asking for corporate to assist me, and I later received a call from Debbie Kelly. I advised her that I’d been waiting on a call from corporate, and she said she is corporate. I then asked her who is over her and she hung up, so I called her back because I was unsure if we got disconnected. She then hung up again, so I called again and ask her is this what we doing? All I asked was who is over you and you hang up have a good day, so I then called customer service left message for corporate for contact me back due to issues with the staff/management.no one called. I will never used this storage again. they do not handle customer concerns.

The insurance company that represents CubeSmart is horrible. Because of that I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. My personal property was damaged in a "climate controlled" environment. The in-store service levels were 4 on a scale of 10! My belongings were molded/mildew....and even though I paid the payments and insurance payments I've yet to get this resolved.

We have a unit here and I like the space and the area. I haven't really had to deal with any of the people because my lady open the account. I only gave it four stars because our unity is on the bottom floor so when we went to put more stuff in the unit we realized water had gotten into some of out things. Nothing was damaged as far as we could see but now you can smell the odor of mildew. And I have a sensitive nose but all in all I'll still get another unit here.

The staff was courteous and pleasant. But I had met a reservation ahead of time with my total and of course by the time I got there I had three extra peas on my bill when I had scheduled it online it said that was my final total hearing so I had spent $60 more just getting the unit. And then when I called the lady to get a lock on my way there she did not say that I should not get that lock there that I had to get it from there from the company. I really felt like I was robbed at gunpoint!

The faculty itself was nice. But don’t make the mistake of paying your rent early like I did. Did not know I would find a place to live and be able to move in so quickly and had all my stuff out of the facility before the next bill was even due and I had already paid the rent early and was told they would not due a refund. So they made an extra 207 dollars because I’m sure they will rent the unit again before May 24 which I am paid through till then since they will not refund my money.

Went looking for storage for some items from my backyard and I went to life storage extra space public storage and finally came to CubeSmart and I chose this location because they had a very great special further 10 x 10. I looked at both the climate control 10 by 10 that has carpeting and also look at the outside drive up 10 x 10 in the non climate control building. When I went they had a special not sure how long it's going to last but their pricing is a lot more reasonable than the other three. They were running a special for 35% off of unit or first month free you can choose but those specials change daily so check often. Hope this helps anyone.

Only thing that would make it 5 stars is maybe water fountains by the various entrances and 24 hour gate access. EDIT: I'm editing this review on 1/28/20 because magically, my rent went up after about 3 months. I didn't sign up under some introductory rate offer. Just normal rent. It's now just as expensive as the old unit I moved from.

First time using CubeSmart. The staff was nice, the environment is clean and overall an average experience. The one thing I really struggle with was the fine print they do not tell you ahead of time and of course would tell you it was in your email somewhere. So you need insurance on your stuff or they will charge you their insurance. The thing is that I do have my own but they refuse it because "Off site" was not written in my coverage even after calling my insurance while at the counter, who verified that i was covered. (thats just not right) Second, you need a disc lock or they will charge you for one. Come on really! I do own one and did not have it present, they said you must have it before signing the contract. (another trick to over charge you on a lock)

I would rate this establishment a "10 if I could. I showed up 9 minutes from closing on a Sunday. Miss Ashley could not have been better. Allow me to explain. It was pouring rain and miss Ashley was all smiles as she helped me unhitch my trailer (in the pouring RAIN) holding an umbrella over my head to help me as best she could. A true blue PROFESSIONAL. I was a customer there for almost 10 years, they are so money hungry they went up on my unit $59.00 in one rate hike. In an effort to get more money without notice they changed my access and told me it would be an additional $15.00 per month. My contract from the beginning was 24 hrs because I use to park my truck there. They voided the contract by changing my access without notice so I left. I wouldn't use Cubesmart ever again!

I took the word of a manager who promised to (1) have the door fixed on Unit 1030 so that it would stay up instead of having to be held open by hand, and (2) to put a string on the light in Unit 1030 so the light could be turned on and off. When my mom went over to pay for the unit, neither problem was fixed. The other manager promised to take care of the problems before my long-distance mover arrived with my goods - nearly three weeks after the transaction. Yesterday, the hauler arrived. Nothing had been fixed. But, worst of all, the manager who originally showed me the unit claimed she knew nothing about the problem. I reminded her she was with me when I saw the unit - she showed it to me - but she insisted she knew nothing; didn't remember, etc. Then, she claimed that CubeSmart won't fix one door; they wait until several doors need to be fixed. Preposterous! I trusted her; she lied to my face - three times - first, when she promised to fix the unit; second, when she claimed to know nothing about the problem; and third, when she denied her promise. And I imagine she also lied when she said CubeSmart won't fix a broken door until there are some number of broken doors to be fixed. I reported by experience to CubeSmart Customer Service. Hopefully, the two reps I spoke with yesterday and today did as they promised and passed on my complaint to the district manager. And hopefully, the district manager acts to ensure that storage units are functional and managers don't misrepresent them. I rented three units from a competitor - same day. All clean. All functional. No junk.

Been a customer for over 15 years! (in good standing) Recently their accounting system has been a bit out of sorts. Trying to make payments they tell us we have a credit then a few days later we are later and there is a new fee. When we try to handle the situation there seems to be a lack of understanding basic billing and how to reconcile accounts. Escalated to upper management with no additional knowledge of basic math. In trying to get a total to pay for the bill (we had to wait while they calculated, 2 more days) additional fees were added because we had to wait on them. Do not use this service! If they treat a 15 year customer this way how would they treat someone new they have no vested interest?

Toi assisted me during the process of moving my goods from another state to here. She was extremely helpful on all fronts! From honoring the promotion I was initially given on the phone to making sure I got things in my unit and in my apartment okay. She rocked! The Storage Facility itself is good. Gate Access, cameras up and running, good hours to access your unit. Only a few places to park by the climate controlled building but it's not too much of an issue.

Talk about GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I walked in one day needing a storage unit for my family member and the next day was informed by said family member the unit was no longer needed. The manager and assistant manager went above and beyond their position to get me a refund. I doubt if any other company would consider my situation and try to help me. I love this place! We have used cubesmart 3 different times in the past 18 months and the staff is always awesome. The store manager Toi was especially awesome. When there was an issue, she handled it in less than 2 minutes, and she remembered me over the phone. This means a lot to me as the staff sees probably a good dose of folks in a given day. I give this location five stars without hesitation. If I could give them ten stars I would because they desire it. I moved here from out of state and was lucky to find this storage unit location. They were so accommodating. With all the stress of moving from out of state everything that could go wrong went wrong. The Manager and staff were so accommodating. This local office was closed at the time I arrived at the storage unit. When I say I was late getting there we were about four hours past the office being closed. I got stuck in traffic due to an accident on the highway on a Sunday night but they made it so easy for us to drop off our items. Most businesses would have said sorry the office is closed, you have to drop everything off tomorrow. They opened the office for me and allowed me to drop my items off in storage because I had to get back on the highway to close on my house which was out of state the next day. Troy was/is just GREAT!!! I had so much stuff I had to get and additional unit and he worked it all out.

This was not an good experience at all. They will nickel and dime you and waste your time. Please ensure that you get all the info before you rent. I reserve my unit online and on that deadline of needing the unit I had to go with it. I would have went with another storage company if I had time. First they don't tell you until you there that is an admin fee for the storage of $22 dollars and $10 dollars then they tell you that you have to purchase there insurance for an additional $12 dollars. I had there truck for 4 hours and they held me up for 30 min on the first visit because they left there lock on my unit. They additional 30 min because the lights was not working in my unit. But they wanted to charge me additional $20 for going over on the 4 hours on the truck. But was instructed to Take my time that no one else need the truck. But again I was held up with there process. They the manager she lacks any knowledge of her units and had to call several times in her cell phone because she had no sheet on the cost or avaliable units. She claim that the truck was full but how do you burn 1/4 tank going 41 miles and I even put $10 back in the tank so they hit me with an $25 re fuel charge and she claim the tank was full. Even the general manager agreed but of course she didn't wanted look bad in front of her boss and look incompetent in doing her job which she already prove that several times. Anyway be careful who you do business with and get all the hidden fees before you rent there. You can rent an truck and cheaper climate control unit without all the nickel and dime fees. Buyer beware !!

The only good thing about this place is customer service. I moved my furniture to the storage unit, with no damage. My property grew mold and not only does the company refuse to pay for damages they continued to bill me while getting the situation straighten out. They wont even admit they did anything wrong. there is no way anything randomly grows mold unless the temperature was NOT controlled. I am not the only one affected other units have mold damage so that says it not just me. Save your money and your property and DO NOT STORE HERE. they are overpriced and only care about getting their rent, the insurance will not cover mold either so stay away and find another facility that will at least own up.

We have a double unit we use for our buiness so we are there on a daily basis. The service is great and everyone there is helpful and friendly. We have been with them for over 18 months and I have no complaints, heck the put up with us! They all willing will go out of their way to help no matter what it is. Also during these 18 months I have NEVER seen them have a bad day or bad attitude. 6/30/17...2 years later and management has changed a few times and so has the service and not for the good. New folks got attitude and the rent has gone up almost 50%! They don't keep the restroom clean which I have posted the pictures. We will be moving one of these days. We could rent a small store front for what they are charging now. That too bad as we like the place and location but clearly time to move on.
