Beware of incompetent people that work here That don’t know how to do their jobs or not properly trained . Especially if your an auction buyer on a storage unit . I won a unit called the store made arrangements for pickup paid for the unit on Saturday called again Monday morning to let them know I was driving 2 hours away and making sure their was no issues like (customer hasn’t paid or made payment because that knocks u out if paid before u get there to pick up the stuff) and that I was coming to get it emptied out . When I get there spent $110 in fuel and she can’t find the paperwork in the system finally fiqured out customer made online payment earlier this morning. Which knocks me out to get it . Keep in mind I’m pissed off because I called 2 times Saturday and Monday morning to make sure and they say we’ll see u at 12:30 there is no issues ! This is not doing your freaking job !!!!! And costing me a full day and $110 in fuel to go through this is stupid when can just do their freaking job !!! !!!!!!!

Despite having the room for a POD the attendant would not allow a pod placed to be filled. If you’re thinking of using a POD down the line don’t store your stuff at this storage facility. They are not interested in their customers. Poor customer service!

We just moved out things from a Public Storage unit to CubeSmart and the experience has been drastically different. We have been using this facility for a while now and have been very pleased by the cleanliness of the facility and availability of trollies to move our boxes. No experienced employee, 1st month I did auto pay and I got pas due and I went down there and they said it wasn’t auto pay on the system. Later I asked if I can move out before past due and they said I can pay full payment and they will refund as soon as I moved out for the rest of the month. It’s really annoying to pay these rates and not have carts to carry your items! Two weeks ago the only cart was held up by who appeared to be an employee cleaning out a unit. After waiting about 10 minutes, I ended up lugging my stuff, heavy I might add, myself. Today…again only one cart already in use. After waiting TWENTY MINUTES the cart became available. Then to top it off, there was a sign on the cart to return to the front. After I’d walked back and forth multiple times already since my unit is in the back. I returned it but I wasn’t happy about it!!

Just go to the uhaul storage up the street. Trust me. It's no way with as much as y'all charge, y'all should be so nonchalant and unconcerned about not having ANY available carts whatsoever. Also it wouldn't hurt for one of y'all to sweep the halls or the filthy elevator once in a while. I have been walking past the same Cheeto crumbs and old face masks for two weeks. Get it together. Update. $213.00 was snatched off my card after I have been gone from this unit for almost a week. It’s nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to refund my money, I keep getting redirected and told nothing of substance about a refund. This place is the worst I swear. I will reach out thru email, but I doubt you will get back to me any faster than the responses I have been getting through phone.

The continuous price increases associated with Cubesmart are completely unacceptable to me. After being told by one of the employees that rate increases never occur more than once a year my rental rate was increased twice in less than 12 months and that's completely ridiculous! I will never recommend Cubesmart to anyone I know and I strongly encourage other people to consider other companies if you're looking for a long term storage facility as was the case with me.

Always clean and staff was helpful. ONE PROBLEM-only 4 carts available in whole place of over 200 units. Often there were no carts available. The night I moved the last of my items out there were zero carts at front or back entrance. Luckily I had my own rolling device and was able to move a large table by myself and onto elevator. Todays date is 5/22/2021. This is an independently owned business managed by Cubesmart, and unusual for that reason. The insurance this business has chosen requires you buy a lock from them and the prices here are lower than other storage companies. Reading the contract carefully is important so you'll know what's going on. They have great specials for moving in but of course there are small built in fees not discussed upfront. It's a fair contract based around protecting the building, items in it and preventing problems. I don't like the ambiance because the lights only turn on directly overhead as you're moving down the isle, not a problem during the day but spooky at night. The entire building has a metal roof with visible nails sticking through it. In the contract reporting mold is mentioned several times, so maybe the owner is concerned it could be a problem for this building in the future. It's very dry inside, no mold and clean. The staff is helpful. Due to Covid customers have to use a small hall bathroom, which has been a dirty mess without soap. We visit later in the day so maybe it's clean in the morning. This building doesn't have visable fireproofing spray, in contrast to other storage units we've had. I wouldn't keep anything delicate or very expensive here longterm but it's good for people who are moving. They also store vehicles in a fenced lot next to the building. That being said it's not in the best area of the city. I was told they have good security and carefully watch the cars. I've never had any problems with this business, and they treat customers well. No frills but it's a fair contract, a good value and gets the job done. I rated this location three stars due to the building construction, lighting and location when compared to other storage companies.

The lady on the phone was so helpful and patient with helping me to get my storage set up, she helped me send a message to the store so that I would meet my deadline.to get the size unit I needed.and to have Calvin to remind me that Saturday was the last day for the sale. Today, I was provided excellent customer service from the manager, Calvin. I had reserved a smaller unit; however, it was not available so in turn, Calvin researched the system and I was provided a larger unit at an affordable price. He was very knowledgeable in CubeSmart's services/products, very professional by wearing a mask and following the company's safety protocols, and extremely courtesy in explaining the process of renting a storage at the Clarkston location. I would recommend this location to any one who is wanting to have a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment for your personal property along with excellent customer service and staff who are adhering to the safety guidelines placed on every business. Honestly, this is one of the best experience I have had with a storage facility and I have moved over 6 times throughout the years! Calvin, you were outstanding! Thank you again for your hospitality!

Calvin WAS AAAAAMAAAAZING!!!! I had been calling CubeSmart since 10 am to get a unit. I needed a unit with a truck rental. Customer service told me the Peachtree Industrial location had one. 3 reps told me it had one and I had called the office for 2 hours straight and no answer. I finally found out there is no truck rental at the location so I rebooked at Church st. Calvin helped me in 15 minutes in and out with efficient customer service and extra advice. He later told me that there was a unit with truck rental 1 minute away at another CubeSmart location that customer service never mentioned was available. I appreciate Calvin for helping me. He did an awesome job.

I usually don’t do this but I had a great experience today and I had to elaborate on it. So I already had a rough week with the whole moving process and the procrastination of others with my time which put me in a bad space. Well I had booked a storage unit while I was in Louisiana trying to accomplish my task at home and dealing with a traumatic family situation, I had booked me a storage unit at the last minute to speed the process along. The online booking was very quick and effortless due to the corona virus. So i end up driving back to ga Sunday morning to go straight to the unit I just Prebooked because the movers where waiting on me. Get there and with my luck my unit is to freaking small. Oh my gosh another head ache with all the other problems going on with my life. Which will just cost more money with the movers. Not knowing if I the storage facility open today I called highly frustrated but got a manager on the phone name Calvin. As irritable, mad, and discouraged I was he was calm and comforting to talk to in regards to me as a customer. He was understanding considering the fact it was so early in the morning and it being my fault as to the measurement misunderstood He didn’t over talk or be rude. He was willing to help by any means. Which makes me happy I became a customer at cube smart. We need more individuals like this. I feel business will be very very generous. I want to say thanks Calvin at the church street location.

I really want to give a good review because the facility is clean and nice. However, the manager is the one of the rudest I have encountered in a very long time. The first issue is that he was eating lunch when I arrived and WOULD NOT open the main door for me to enter. Just kept sitting there like I was not standing there. He could have waved or something to acknowledge me but just looked at me and kept on eating. When I finally got in and told him my wife reserved online, he said there was no reservation. I had the confirmation on text. Then he started to aggressively explain to me that I didn't tell him the reservation was in my name, so he didn't know. He did not know either one of our names but simply said there was no reservation. He was so confrontational that I finally had to ask him to breathe. I had to say it multiple times before he finally caught on that I was not mad or being confrontational with him. Everything this guy said to me was snappy and sassy. You would have thought we knew each other prior to this interaction. After all of this, he left at about 4:00pm and did not return for the remainder of the day. I had a couple of questions that could not be answered. There was no one there to help customers. I rented the space because I had stuff piled on a truck but if I were not in that situation, I would have moved on to the next storage unit. I pray someone in upper management takes an opportunity to provide this guy with customer service training.

If there was only ONE reason to rent a storage unit from this location, it would be because Calvin is employed there. This CubeSmart is very modern and up to date compared to others I've seen across the city and I felt at ease leaving my valuables at this location. I've had to use this location twice in the last 3 months since I've downsized from my home I've owned for the last 22 yrs. He provided recommendations for a moving company that I actually used. As much as he gives, I would hope that places like College Hunks and whoever else he's putting money into their business with those recommendations that they "give back" to Calvin or their organization! Even if something is your "job" and you're paid to do, Calvin rose above those requirements and provided great customer service! He was well informed, patient and above all kind! It is rare to find people in this day and age who take pride in their jobs!

Cost is deceptive. Upon checkout Im required to buy an additional $12/mo of insurance, then had to pay a $24 admin fee, and buy a lock for $18. Uhaul seemed more expensive at first, but didnt require insurance so was actually the same.

The sales people at the national call center said move-in fees would be waived, they were not. They never gave me a price that included taxes or the required insurance. I reached out after Cubesmart responded to this review, but they offered no remedy. I won't do business with Cubesmart again.

Did you know that in the state of georgia , the storage facity automatically has a lien on the property in your storage unit the second you move in ? If it should come to having to auction off your goods , there is no reqirement to go through any legal process to take posession of your goods and sell them, except to send you a letter telling you that they're going to do it . Are you also aware that at cubesmart , you are forced to buy one of thier locks , because they have a master key to the lock you purchase from them, allowing them to over lock or unlock your unit with the lock that they've sold to you. Please don't mistake this for sour grapes my goods were not auctioned off however there was an administrative lien placed on my rental account which is completely gratuitous and unnecessary because the facility already has a lien on it the minute I moved my goods into the storage locker this is just another profit Center that they use there is no need for this and there is actually nothing that they do there's nothing filed with the court or any paperwork that says they placed a lien on your property it's just a made-up term and a made-up fee so they can get another hundred bucks out of you. Additionally if the storage facility is going to place a lien on your goods they have to give you notice that they're going to place the lean and assess the fee prior to doing it the CubeSmart facility that I rented in did not follow the law and give the notice that they were going to assess the lean and the fee before they did it The whole thing is just super slimy and not transparent at all it seems like they'd rather be in business to take your stuff and sell it than they actually would to rent you a storage space. If you're renting a storage unit please read through the contract and understand what they can do if things go sideways and what's your rights are if you have any at all in this particular situation

Calvin was great! This was the first place I went to find storage spaces to move items from my apartment. He showed me two different spaces. Once we located a good one that fit my need, he give asked if I had movers. I informed him I didn’t. He gave me two recommendations of companies to use. Fast forward two weeks - he gave me a call yesterday letting me know CubeSmart does lock checks, he discovered my space wasn’t securely locked. Of course I returned today and I made another user error. He called again. This time showed me how to actually lock my unit. I’d refer him to anyone! Best space I could have rented out. This CubeSmart is new, very clean and accessible. The manager, Reuben, is fantastic -- very accommodating and knowledgeable. We just entered into the contract, but I feel it is going to work well.

Calvin is awesome!! He has such great customer service. This place is a new storage facility and it is very nice. I have a 10’x8’ and it is perfect size for my small one bedroom. Thank you Calvin and CubeSmart!

It’s a brand new storage facility. It has all the cctv, high fenced gates (not the chain link type) and it presents to be very secured. It’s right off the I-285 interstate, which is very accessible. The office sells moving supplies like tapes, boxes, padding, and etc.
