If you can avoid storing here, avoid it. Every time I go up, there’s never anyone available at the office despite me going at various times during the listed store hours, and we were late on payments so they decided to cut the lock on our unit, a week before anything went to auction, despite me calling in advance to let them know I’d be paying my late account before the auction date. They said I need to pay for a new lock, and it had to be in person, so I went, guess what? Doors locked, lights off, right in the middle of the day. No note, no sign, nothing explaining why. They’ve changed prices and charged me extra without explanation or notification and cited they can do that per their contract, which is just nonsense. They kept telling me they sent out emails and notifications well in advance for the switch from Public Storage to CubeSmart and they didn’t, then my account got messed up because of the switch and it took several phone calls over the course of the week to finally get the late fee off my account because they failed to port my information over, and still overcharged me and just said that’s their new pricing. They’re impossible to get ahold of by phone as well. I’m considering moving my stuff from CubeSmart all together because of how many issues I’ve had with these people.

THE ELEVATORS DON’T WORK! Do yourself a favor and don’t rent here. What was supposed to be a simple task turned into a huge inconvenience. The manager is not on site and it took her 2 hours and about 10 phone calls for her to get here. Then she had the nerve to have an attitude. Talking about it’s her day off she has people coming over. My movers had to carry everything down 6 flights of stairs. They loaded what they could,went to their next job, and had to come back to finish the job.

Elevators don’t work, Only one works and the lady in the office is so damn lazy. Why can’t the outside door be held open if we are moving things in? Why do you want us to continuously put a code in to open the door when we can keep it open. It’s make the move hard especially since you turned off one elevator when there should be two working. Do your job and fix that elevator! I’m going to call the fire department next because that elevator hasn’t been inspected since 2022

Public Storage sold to this location to Cube Smart and everything for my account has been messed up since. Attached below are emails from public storage telling me I had only owed 90 dollars for June and my next upcoming bill of 135 dollars. I made an agreement with Public Storage to pay 135 for my space until September. Without any notice the location was sold. Now Cube Smart is demanding 396 dollars, which is full months rent for both months for June and July although I had already paid 70 dollars for June and July was to be reduced. I have yet to hear from the Manager regarding my account. If you are the manager reading this please reach out to me in regards to this matter so it can be resolved and I can update my review. In addition to this, the location is very poorly maintained and always has been so oncoming renters beware. Homeless people live in some of the empty units and as a result they lock the bathroom doors. The entrance doors work on a good day and theres not many good days. It is not worth the 186 dollars that they want for a 10x15 and its the reason why Public storage was willing to reduce the price.

Update: I’ve been calling and emailing for a week with no response from store manager or district manager. All I’m trying to do is get a refund and cancel my rental. Corporate is unable to make any agreement changes or issue refunds. I’ve been a CubeSmart customer before and have never experienced negligence like this. Avoid this location! Would give 0 stars if I could! Terrible experience! Both elevators are broken and I couldn’t get to my 4th floor unit. Should have never even had the storage unit available for rent online if you couldn’t get to it. No one will return my phone calls or emails. Another renter I saw while I was there said elevators have been down for 2+ weeks! Beware of these scammers.

Public storage took an online reservation for a storage space even though they had sold that location to another company. They even charged me for it. When I went there I found out that it was no longer a Public Storage and I had to make a new reservation with the new company CubeSmart and pay again. I called Public storage to get my money back and they said they couldn’t do anything as they had closed my account. Despicable behavior by a business!

Customer service in GA on a whole I’ve learned is unfortunately pretty much extinct. But here this is not the case!! I have had wonderful experiences with the staff here namely, Tim and Bre. They both go above and beyond to accommodate as well as timely and justly rectify any situations that have come up in our time here renting. They keep a very clean facility compared to others I’ve seen and are really top notch in my opinion. Continue the Great work guys! It’s valued.

**DO NOT RENT FROM STORAGE FACILITY*** Upon move in was informed that I would receive a refund for storage lock that I am now unable to use. Upon rental of unit, Property Manager Bre advised me of this information. Unit was rented on-line, lock was purchased at facility. Facility new and clean is now dirty, and have liability concerns as entry door is broken along with elevator is broken/ needs repairs. Facility has gone down hill. I would not recommend facility at all due to being lied to. I was a valued customer never made a late payment and was on auto pay. Will be contact corporate and taking my concerns up the corporate ladder until I receive a full refund for lock…

I must say I have been to a lot of storage units and the manager at this location gave me the best service out of all the storage companies I have used in the past. Bre (on-site manager) really worked with me to make sure I understand why the price had increased but not only that she worked with me to upgrade my unit to a larger one for the same price as my new increased premium. Now saving me money on a larger unit that I was inquiring about when I came into to find out why the price had increased. It could not have worked out any better. In addition to her helping me she was helping someone else that came in after me with the same great customer service. This facility is very nice and very clean but if I had not received such great customer service I would have left because I didn’t know why my rate went up.

Today I have to share my experience. Seldomly lately do I encounter ppl happy to do their job when working with the public (it's more about a check to them then a service they provide). Today Al at the Lealand location in Cobb Co GA showed excellent customer service. He took the time to answer questions and listen to my concerns. I felt accomplished after leaving there. It's already stressful enough needing this is one thing I can comfortably check off my list.

This was a terrible experience. Purchased a unit for my moving date. When I got to the location the door to get into the units was off track, to where no one was able to get in. Also, even though their store hours said they are open there was no employee there. Because I was moving and had a whole uhual truck I had to go find another public storage nearby and purchase ANOTHER unit. Called customer service and they would not reimburse me the $29 fee and lock fee for their mistake.

Sharon talked so down on the young fella that was working on my contract an turned around an screws mines up more than what “it was” which was NOTHING ON HIS BEHALF. This is the absolute worst storage experience I have ever encountered, bar none. It's atrocious. As of the end of July 2022, there are two huge window panes to the main office of the facility that are completely shattered. It's been this way for at least 2 weeks. The doors to the facility are almost always wide open...like locked open. Anyone, renter or not, can waltz right in. There is no gate on the property. I was there on 7/28 and the facility was closed. Completely closed! I've been renting since 7/18 and been there maybe a half dozen times. There was no notice posted inside or out. I didn't get a notification on the app, I didn't receive a phone call, I didn't receive a text, I didn't receive an email, a fax, a smoke signal...They just shut the place down one day and denied access to everyone with ZERO notice. I want my time and gas back. I had to sleep in my car with it loaded with the stuff I needed to move in there. I had no where to go. I called their customer service and they couldn't offer me any explanations, alternative, access, there was barely an apology muttered, I received no compensation for them breaking the contract after only 10 days, and one of the customer service reps just straight up hung up on me. There is limited access (you only have until 9pm to access your unit), it's in an inconvenient nook off I-75 tucked after one of the absolute longest left turn lights I've ever encountered, and they charge you $30 for the privilege of paying them rent. On top of this you have to use their proprietary locks on your unit, and you aren't even guaranteed access during the times they promise. If you're in a bind and MUST use this place, use an AMEX, or Discover, a card with robust consumer protections. Visa only refunded me for the one day I couldn't get access, even though it put me way out, cost me tons in fuel and time, and it could have been prevented by them with advanced notice...in addition to their contract stating I would have access before 9pm. If you're not in a bind, do NOT be tempted. It's clean and well branded, but it is poorly run with a horrifying lack of concern for your property or time.

The unit I rented here is exactly what I needed and I couldn't have been more pleased with the price. I was also very impressed with the quality of service that I received from Nashaly. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and understood all the details concerning the property. She definitely deserves to be recognized for her efforts. I have a few other storage units around the country, but I'd definitely label my experience here as the best. Highly recommended!
