My Stuff was stolen by wires being cut from the top of my indoor unit. Front desk did not help with video footage to help my police report. Stay far away from this place. Your stuff is not safe. And they will only reimburse you a fraction of what you lose.

The climate control is 77° & humid/musty. The facility is dirty old & in need of maintenance. Bathroom if it's unlocked is dirty. Very difficult to find the attendant on duty. Customer service is poor. The prices kept going up & the quality kept going down. Not worth it go find another storage company w/real climate control, clean facilities & friendly customer service...I did just that & moved out!

I got a phone call most people wish to not get. But unfortunately today was the day. My unit door was not secure due to my negligence. I truly appreciate the person who notified the front desk. Going up every few months....lost thousands of dollars due to flooding and although I was promised by the DM George that I would be taken care of,I was not at all taken care of!!! Staff at the location was fine. Facility overall is well taken care of.... restroom still closed to the public.... Just clean it and let customers use the bathroom!

This company has failed to take any accountability for the leaks and mold in their units. $50,000 worth of personal belongings have been damaged, and that’s just from one unit. On top of everything they refuse to respond to any of the owners questions / claims. This company neglects its customers and does not care about the valuables they are trusted with. DO NOT USE.

BLACK MOLD, ROOF NEGLIGENCE Thankfully I did not have my personal things at this facility, but I saw the damage firsthand. I assisted my brother in law in moving his family’s belongings out of their black-mold infested Cube. Not to mention that my sister and brother in law have been fighting to keep their child with lung-disease alive for the past year and a half. They paid Cubesmart thousands to keep their stuff safe, and Cubesmart failed them horribly. Think of the heartbreak of stepping into your paid-for storage unit only to find your first-home's Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn and antique furniture un-salvagable and molded through because of a water leak that came through the roof. What’s worse, Cubesmart wouldn’t even help them hire someone to inspect the roof, so my brother in law had to take the initiative to climb on the roof (with a Cubesmart employee present). The video he showed us is awful. The roof looks like it’s been cheaply patched up, and Cubesmart has gone completely silent on whether they will fix the roof damage and whether they have notified the residents (which we have confirmed has not happened). Cubesmart, do the right thing! You have insurance to help you fix these situations. If Cubesmart wants to respond to my Google review, please confirm that you have first replied to my sister Grace’s email sent to you on 9/1/22 at 4:23 pm EST.

This facility has a major roof issue, which caused the destruction of my family member's belongings in under two years of storage. Water that got in through Cubesmart’s roof caused black mold and mildew to ruin TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of their belongings. Cubesmart hasn’t notified other customers of the leak, which is truly disheartening. People are trusting this place with their most treasured items, and Cubesmart is NOT disclosing crucial information about the safety of their facilities. My family even purchased TWO types of insurance for their possessions, including an insurance policy offered via cubesmart. This facility is not being considerate of the extent of the damage done to the items, and because of it, my family members have been hit with a bear $50k loss, even though they have two babies and are still looking for a home. Just because you have good marketing or a clever name, doesn't make you a good company. Tell your customers about the roof/leak and save families the heartbreak and tens of thousands of dollars this damage will cost them!!!!!

Negligent maintenance of roof. Rent hikes. Aside from rent nearly doubling since we began our storage (2 years ago), we are facing a mold nightmare. We purchased TWO insurances to cover our items, and Cubesmart sent a check (via their insurer, Greater American) to cover our policy… which maxed at $2,000. $2,000 to cover their negligence of a roof that caused nearly $50,000 of damage to our belongings. So now we have to hire litigation or start a gofundme to help us offset this massive loss. Our daughter has progressive lung disease and has lived in the hospital most of the last 17 months, so this stress on top of everything has been immense. It is bewildering to me that Cubesmart has not taken a greater initiative to help us. They give me the run-around anytime I try to ask specifics about their greater insurance policy or their roof repair history. They never actually hired a roof expert, my husband was the one that had to get on top of the roof to see what actually happened. Which by the way, the roof looks very neglected, so I am curious if any other unit has experienced water damage. Instead I’m just getting late fees while I try to figure out where to dispose of and relocate our belongings. WE are the ones that have to pay to dispose of and relocate everything. Oh and yes, our other insurance won’t cover it because it’s seen as preventable damage. Preventable by Cubesmart. Anthony, the GM, is a kind guy. Unfortunately, the company seems to only be covering their backs and could care less about the devastation this has caused, to a one-salary family of four that nearly lost a child this year, no less. After trying to figure out where to put our belongings and asking for free rent while we figure out where to put our things, the Cubesmart area director had the audacity to tell me that he was doing us a service by giving me a month of free rent and waiving the late fees. That he was really extending too much to me. Giving one month of rent, for $50,000 worth of damage ??. Just a truly devastating experience. Buyer’s beware ??

CS has increased their online payment fee from $1.95 to 2.95%, an ungodly increase. The manager is managing five other properties and is often not on the premises. The CS website is not working and online payment is not possible.

I was subjected to two price increases of about 18% each during the 16 months I had the unit. I was not notified of either increase and only knew about them by receiving the monthly invoice/bill.

I rented two units from this place. Heads up you have to have a circle lock or you will have to pay $18 for theirs. You also need to have renters insurance or you will be upcharged for theirs. I closed out one unit two months later by showing a photo of the clean unit. The other was cleaned out after hours. That's when the problems began. New manager and I played phone tag for a week: phone and voice-mail apparently don't get to him. Again he let me know he was new. He was 'new' 2 months ago. Then I had to wait for an email to prove I returned a lock I didn't use. So much hassle that it didn't need to be. Unit#1- 2nd floor: clean, smelled fine Unit #2- 1st floor: clean, hallway had a very musty smell, door kept falling down and hitting us as loaded/unloaded

This was my fist time getting a storage and it was the worst experience I will never get a storage again. I paid for 2 + years until I moved into a new house I had mattress, dinning tables, TVs, pictures, clothes and it was all ruined due to a rain storm. I purchased a weather safe unit inside storage but all my stuff was ruined it was moldy and unusable. I paid extra for insurance which did nothing because they haven’t given me my money back for all my valuables. I complete waisted my money for this expensive unit and didn't get anything out of it. Never again!

The only thing that would have been nice to know up front is that insurance is required and not included in the monthly cost listed when first booking. Our unit experienced water damage over the weekend and the manager, Stephanie Whitaker, called to give us the bad news. Went out to survey the damage and get advice on how to proceed. Came back the next day and Stephanie was simply awesome in every way! She set up us in a new unit in just a few minutes. She came down to our old unit to check in with us to see how we were doing. She made the process seamless. We knew that she had to be under some pressure since our unit was not the only one effected. Kudos to you Stephanie! Thanks for all your help.

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Stephanie the store manager called in a very disrespectful unprofessional tone in regards to an error she made based on lack of duty. Not only that she threatened me and said nobody "Dictates her walking the site premise". Her failure to perform her job resulted in misinformation and she inappropriately added charges to my account. Simply, I am appalled and disgusted by the treatment I received as a customer on the very 1st day! Stephanie literally called hours after my movers completed the storage move in. This situation needs to be addressed immediately and my account should not be fraudulently charged. Please reachout to me immediately as I am very concerned about the safety of my property; as well as other customers being bullied and mistreated.

I used this location from the time it was Champion Self Storage. Naturally, I was a little concerned when it became CubeSmart, as the former had been flawless. I have to say, each and every time I've called, they have been nothing but helpful and friendly, along with timely responses when requested. I had a unit here for approximately seven years and was NOT disappointed, and I work in the storage industry. The facility is clean and well-kept, the personnel friendly and professional, and I would recommend them over any other storage company around.

I was headed to another storage place and I happened to go to CubeSmart first. I got there and missed my turn and noticed how difficult it was to get to the facility. It's clean it's secure, and I felt confident storing my things there since the last storage place I used, I was stolen from. Tanisha the manager, was very helpful and she gave me all the details and peace of mind that I needed. I would recommend this place anyone.

Its was the best storage facility I have ever used. The thing that made it the best was the Manager there Nora Lewis. She always went above and beyond to make me welcomed and that I was getting the best service. I advise if you have to use a storage facility and you live in the Duluth Norcross area, use this location. It was always clean and well kept.

I had a great experience at this Cube Smart Self Storage. I was going to have to move my storage due to the monthly fees. After mentioning this to agent Nora Lewis, she advised me of a unit that would be in my budget and big enough to hold all of my items, Nora was very professional and knowledgeable about her job. Nora even followed up with me with a thank you card. She displayed excellent customer service. I would recommend this company to others.

Michelle Wow'd us!! Michelle was awesome. From the minute we walked in the door looking for some storage for overflow from our house. She showed us the units and made the whole process simple and easy. In this day and age I feel that customer service is a dying breed. Michelle is one of the few people that knows how to give good customer service. I was very pleased with the whole process, not to mentiont the pricing. Public Storage wanted almost double the price for the same size unit we bought at Cubesmart. I will definitly recommend Cubesmart to my friends and family.

Nora is the best, and makes you feel at ease when you are stressed out about moving. She took the time with my wife, and asked about our needs, rather than trying to upsell us into something we didn't need. She also has a GREAT memory, knowing right off what units we were in even three weeks after we had rented them.

My husband and I recently relocated to Norcross from Dallas, TX and were in immediate need of storage. Nora reached out to us moments after we secured our unit online and was beyond wonderful from the start. She was extremely professional and helped us secure the unit and supplies that we needed while entertaining my 5-year-old so we could get all of the paperwork completed. Best storage facility and friendliest staff in the area! I have rented from several companies and this one is the best - hands down. Courteous staff, clean units, 24 hour security and use of a moving truck. That's right - you can use the truck to move in. An excellent added bonus! If you have storage needs - please go here. I won't go anywhere else.
