We moved from SC to GA and needed a storage unit. After sifting through the different options and reading the reviews, we decided to go with the 10'×10' unit CubeSmart. When we arrived at the office to sign our lease and get our unit, we were greeted by Penny. She was very kind and answered all of our questions before we even had to ask! Penny showed us how to operate the gate, she held the gate for me while drove out moving truck through, and she even accompanied us to our unit to show us how to open, close, and lock the unit. I can't say much about the actual unit because we've only had our stuff inside of it for a day, but if the customer service is any reflection of the unit quality, I'm glad we chose CubeSmart on Atlanta Hwy. I have had a unit for 5 years now. They have always been very patient with me the times I had fallen behind, so I wouldn’t lose my stuff. They make sure they make their curtesy calls, leaving voicemails and even emails before your payment so you don’t forget. Ms. Penny is a wonderful lady!! Without her, I probably would have definitely lost my storage a few times. She works hard and dedicates herself to her job. She is very caring and completely understanding. I found CubeSmart by searching for self storage units in Winder and Jefferson. I ended up picking this one because of the rates and the security. I booked my reservation online and Penny, the general manager, immediately called to confirm. I needed to move up my move-in day, again, Penny immediately called to confirm. On move-in day, I met Penny in person. She was extremely polite and professional, yet carried on a lot of great small talk. This is customer service at its finest. I was looking for a storage unit to place household items and I was so fortunate to meet Penny Sears at CubeSmart in Winder. She asked questions, listened to my responses, told me about the options available, showed me several units, suggested the unit size that was perfect for what I needed. This IS a very clean storage unit, Penny IS a very helpful person, who can be stern at times, but is VERY accommodating. I've had a unit with them since January. I have been late paying my fee for past 2 months and had to pay the $10 late fee which is completely reasonable considering other storage units can be up to $30. The reason being that I gave 4 stars is because since I downgraded from a 10x10 to a 10x5 every time I've gone to my unit there have been grand daddy long legs crawling in the very front of unit, none seem to be in any boxes, hopefully when I move my boxes out there won't be any unwelcomed "guest" ??

Both people were very friendly but when I brought my insurance letter with coverage far exceeding the amount I needed and having their address the guy said it wasn't acceptable because it must have three random words I don't remember. It felt like a way to get up-charged for overpriced insurance. The woman there who I had talked to on the phone initially did say it was fine but she wasn't in the room initially. The guy may of been honestly confused but 5 starts are for perfect(reasonably) experiences. I had to get another unit last minute and I believe her name is Penny? was expedient and I was pleased. I must say I was impressed how clean the office was for a storage facility. I would recommend them to a friend or family member.

Penny is awesome! Always pleasant and helpful. After one of their routine checks of the storage units, she called to let me know that our unit had not been latched properly (which would’ve allowed it to be opened). Every transaction I’ve had with her has been great. Even though we no longer need the storage unit, if needed in the future, we will rent here because of her.

A great storage facility! I rented a 10 x 20 unit to store my car and felt very comfortable leaving it there. The units themselves have a built in step (a couple of inches) to stop rain water from getting in; and they have an individual who sprays the outsides of the units for bugs. The grounds are very clean and whole rental process is a breeze. Penny was always available to answer any of my questions I had. They always seem to have deals going on, so be sure to check out their website before renting. I'd recommend this location to anyone. A+ all around!

This is by far the best place to store your vehicle. Penny Sears was the best! she was super nice and took care of everything for me. I've been to other storage places in the past and was never happy with there service. Completely different story with CubeSmart in winder GA ask for Penny!

Excellent service. Was able to get great information through the internet and then follow up over the phone. When we arrived from out of town, Penny was able to make sure we got in the right size unit. She was very friendly and helpful. Able to give us a lot of information about the area that went above and beyond her normal duties. Highly recommend them.
