DO NOT BE SCAMMED into taking their insurance!! The employee who opened my account and the onsite manager told me that my own renters insurance policy was unacceptable because it did not include offsite coverage, and required me to take the CubeSmart policy. That was completely untrue. After reviewing my personal policy, speaking with my insurance agent and doing research, my policy does provide coverage for storage facilities. Their contract specifically states taking their coverage is optional if I have insurance, but they insisted I had to take theirs. They said they will credit me for insurance they charged me. I am giving them two stars because the units are nice.

I called the facility in Hanover Park to inquire about a space to store my vehicle. There was a space available and was able to hold the space until I was able to come in later in the day to complete my transaction. The manager of the facility was very pleasant and friendly on the phone and even more pleasant and friendly when I came in a few hours from my phone call. She was very knowledgeable and helpful on the phone and in person.

Bad experience. Bought carpet from a nice salesman , we agreed on price and then waited for carpet day. Day came and installers were very nice. However door stop was missing and ran into 2 spots on stairs that had a sharp object stick out causing skin puncture. Also I didnt realize how thin the carpet was and I upgraded padding but do not notice any extra cushion. Also maybe its just the thin carpet but many areas show a space between the bottom of baseboard and the carpet. And finally I got overcharged!!

This place is a bunch of thugs! I had my car recently stolen and I now live out of state of my unit. I told Catalina about my situation and scheduled to change to a cheaper/smaller unit that I could afford since of my circumstances. Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the appointment since I was dealing with the stolen car situation which ran late, so I could no longer switch units while I was in town and I am trying to pay the month of September (which is late) but I told them October payment would be late. They said they would not take payment unless it was full and WILL NOW CHARGE 110 FEE LIEN UNLESS I GIVE THEM FULL PAYMENT. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE BILL IS LITERALLY DUE TODAY. THEY'RE BASICALLY THUGS HOLDNG YOU AT GUN POINT SAYING PAY UP OR GET LOST

Perfect customer support from Cathy yesterday and today. I stopped by for an RV spot and was told they were all taken for. But If I wanted I could add my name to the wait list and behold I got a call back from Cathy In the morning letting me know they had a spot. I instantly came in and she had the perfect spot for me. The Bartlett CubeSmart is fantastic:..I’m so happy I chose them during my “in between moves”. Kathy is tremendously kind and helpful—she makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. When my movers unloaded, we realized the largest unit still wasn’t big enough but Kathy was on hand to guide me through renting an additional smaller one right by my main unit. She also helped me rental of the moving truck from the Streamwood location—the manager there was equally friendly and helpful!

I was affected by the GLOBAL PANDEMIC ?? and my rates still kept rising. I had to shut my business down but they didn’t care. I tried to make payments to catch up when I fell behind but they said no Instead they added more fees. I asked them sincerely to work with me and they refused. Saying “ we don’t do that”.... they will allow you to pay 75% of the balance they have inflated to get your belongings that day before they sell them at auction. I was able to find the same size unit that offered to work with me on everything. I almost lost my family memories because they REFUSED to work with me. SHAME ON THEM.

I’ve had this storage unit for quite a few years. I must say I’ve always found the property neat and clean. Over the years I’ve found the few times I’ve interacted with the personnel at the facility, to be courteous, helpful, and a pleasure to work with any concerns I had with the unit. At no time did I find any issues. It’s been a pleasure to work with the people at this facility. I would still have the unit but, I’ve decided to retire and no longer have a need for a storage unit. I have been going to the CubeSmart on Devon in Bartlett, IL for a number of years now. Honestly, the reason that I go back every year is because of the General Manager, Kathy Hibbler. I can’t imagine anyone being more courteous, friendly and professional. I store all of my patio furniture each winter and Kathy always anticipates when I will be back and takes care of all my storage needs. Plus......Kathy has always told me about any promotions, the latest being the first month’s rent free or 25% off the monthly rate. Having those two options available is a great idea and depending on your length of stay, one may be better than the other. In my case, the 25% savings was more advantageous. This year, Pamela Donald, Manager took care of all my paperwork and took me to my new storage unit. Just like Kathy, Pam was so helpful, kind and courteous and very professional!! As long as I live in Bartlett, I will continue to use Kathy & Pam’s CubeSmart for all my storage needs!!!

Who knew a storage experience could be this great? Storage is storage, right? But Kathy who runs the Bartlett location on Devon really does make my storage experience really wonderful (and I know how weird that sounds since storage is such a work-a-day need). My business requires me to store paperwork long term, and I've used other facilities. But now I don't dread going. The climate controlled area is amazing - well lit, well watched by security cameras, and I'm always comfortable that my storage area (and myself when I visit) is safe. And I've never come across a more helpful and pleasant storage manager than Kathy. Who'd have guessed it would all come at reasonable pricing? Kudos to CubeSmart and to Kathy for raising a really mundane business necessity to something really pleasant for me!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Kathy and crew. Originally went in looking for a space to park my boat trailer and the snowmobile trailer. I wanted to put my boat and snowmobile in one of their storage cubes. And then Park my snowmobile trailer outdoors. Nikko showed me two different storage units. I honestly couldn't believe how clean they were after looking at other facilities. Others were dirty and beat up that were not owned by CubeSmart. Not only that but I was looking to rent a 10 x 30 indoor space. And after showing up at a couple facilities and finding out that anywhere from 23 to 27 feet was what they were charging for a 30 foot space I was really turned off. I understand with these type of facilities it an approximate measurement. However when your being cheated out of anywhere from three to five feet or more that should be theft in my opinion. Anyhow after doing a quick tour with Nikko I knew this was the place I wanted to be. On the 3rd of July I contacted Kathy and set up a time to come in to meet with her and seal the deal. And boy am I ever happy with my decision! She made it as painless as possible and I'm very happy to be at CubeSmart. Thanks again Kathy and Nikko for your service.

Over the last 10 years I have been a frequent client of the CubeMart facility for various short term and long term storage needs. Even though the need for storage would be different for me each occasion there was always one consistent. The friendly professionalism that was always present from the GM Kathy and her staff. This facility shines because of the respect and truly helpful concern she has for those who come in the front door. Kathy and her staff always demonstrate service that is outstanding.

Kathy and her staff are very friendly and very helpful. I rent a parking spot and their lot is always clean, when it snows they have it plowed bright and early. The entire lot is fenced with a easy in and out pin pad set up. A+

Kathy is amazing. She along with her staff are always so nice and always great with questions. I would recommend this location to anyone. My stuff was stored safe for the few years it needed to be stored. I always felt the staff cared so very much about my personal belongings and understood why i chose to invest in a property that I could count on to jeep my stuff safe. I wish I could give it 10 stars.

Just signed up for my first Cube Smart storage unit. Niko at the desk was awesome! He explained everything to me and showed me the unit. Very friendly too. It was very easy to sign up and I'm ready to move my stuff in there.

Kathy and staff members are great people with great communication . Best price in the area 13 month and me things are save in storage. They are so good that when I forgot to lock my storage door i received a call letting me know the fact. They do there jobs well, so well im worried free knowing my things are save and secure. 6/20/2020 update, kathy is simply the best at what she does her help with understanding is simply the best .

Kathy was very helpful and friendly, She treats you like family. Clean and bright facility, security monitors. I had my new 2017 camper at public storage for 2days.I received 3 phone calls from 2 employees that didn't remember they talked to me. Also they have no security cameras and I was told if anything happened to my property to take it up with my insurance company they are not responsible. At Cubesmart they have cameras giving you peace of mind

Very impressive!! We were looking for a 10X20' unit with drive-up access, and climate controlled. I looked alot on line, and finally found the perfect combination at Cube Smart. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten 2 10-x10 units, which would have given us easier access to things in the back of the unit, but don't plan to move to a different size until we are able to get rid of much of what we have in here. We had a few bumps in the road with our total moving experience, but NO BUMPS at all at Cube Smart. Kathy, the manager, has been terrific both on the phone and in person. I can't think of a better person to run this operation. Thank you Kathy!

I have stored at many facilities previous to finding this one. I have to say that it is the most well managed storage facility that I have ever encountered. Kathy is the most helpful and friendly employee that Cubesmart has and I refuse to store anywhere else because of her! This facility is super well maintained and CLEAN. The security is better than most storage facilities that you will find which makes me feel safe. I have rented multiple units at different times and a parking space from this location. I have never had any problems what so ever and in fact they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me with anything that I have ever needed. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs a quality storage unit.

A Place that always helps and has the best darn manager and friend over the years. Kathy has been a person I met under duress and over the years, a fancy car, too way too much stuff and at times when we talked a good laugh or two. Good business always stems from good people and Kathy is definitely first rate. If you need a service or a person in the trades,a good place for dinner, or a happening in the surrounding area Kathy can help, tell you where to eat, and get you almost anywhere in the town. I can say I have met my fair share of people I have had great business dealings with but Kathy has become something more she has become my friend.
