This is my first time actually renting a climate controlled storage space, I like the idea I’ve been able to pull into a heated parking garage, And be able being able to use their four-wheel carts very helpful but I gotta say thank you very much to manager on duty Her name was Pat. The facility was fine and the employees were good, but the company increased my rate from $89 per month to >$200 per month over just four years. That's insane. I'm sure that's just their business model, because they know most people would probably just pay the higher rate than have to move their stuff out. I also suspect most other storage companies do the same thing, but it seems kinda predatory.

I've been here almost a year. The manager's name is Miss Pat. Facility is always clean and orderly..This is the first storage unit , where I can say I've had no issues with the upkeep or security. :-) She is wokes well with people with disabilities... all kind of disabilities... She is also very big on security she has a security guy come through shortly after 10:00. To make sure that everybody's off the lot. Also she's used the camera in the morning time when she gets in to make sure that nothing occurred throughout the night that all of her customers things are safe and the property as well... I only wish it was there was higher than five stars...

Facility is clean and seems to be secure. Unfortunately that doesn’t negate the fact that I was lied to about rate hikes. I was told that I would not see one for at least 6+ months and that I would get a notice beforehand. Here I am 4 months in; and my rent went up a good 30-40%. With no such notice sent to me. But I’m actually glad the rest of you seem to be having a better experience. It gives me hope that one day I could possibly have that as well.

She quickly helped us secure another unit, went over and cleaned it, and then brought us all the equipment we would need to move our current stuff so I could find my documents. A year and half ago my girlfriend and I got a storage locker together for our things. We just recently broke up so we had to separate our stuff out as I moved out. Pat helped me get a new locker of my own just a few lockers down from the current one. She did this without judging me. I was able to get everything moved over in a matter of 2 days because of this and my card wasn’t charged an extra month saving me $150 bucks! I really appreciate Pat and her amazing customer service. I’m extremely dissatisfied. I was lied to on the phone, bait and switched, and charged $116 more than promised when I arrived. I had to leave town after the worst day of my life, and had to overdraft my account to get the storage and make my flight. The phone people said to talk to the store manager, and she said to ask the phone people. I just got the run around and got screwed. I plan to ask a manager to review the recording of my call and find SOMEONE who can refund my bank account. I’m truly furious and waiting for that manager before I start posting further reviews and calling the BBB. I’m not a troublemaker, but I’m beyond offended.

Pat exemplifies true customer care to the highest standards each and every time I come to Cubesmart. Pat treats her customers as if they are her family. I liked the facility were the units are located, I just wished that it had been with the office attached. It was clean and climate controlled. I also liked, Pat, that helped me with the process of renting a unit. She's terrific. What I don't/can't understand is the making you pay for fire insurance, which is their cheapest insurance, when the place is made up of brick and mortar. I feel that I'm basically giving them $11 dollars more per week for nothing. That is just not cool and it sucks, when every dollar of my money is carefully budgeted.

My storage unit was broken into, and no one said sorry or cared it happened. They emptied out half of our stuff! So much for a secure location, with the Cubesmart lock, and cameras. Get your things out before they are gone—- broken into with lock intact and no visible sign of forced entry ?? Update: insurance we pay for from Cubesmart say there’s nothing they can do because of no sign of force entry to our unit. So these people knew this information, went into our unit stole our things and got away with it! The employees know this information, went in stole our things and because they know insurance company doesn’t follow up or do an investigation- think they got away with it. Here I am still making payments on some of those items for someone to steal and get away with it! Do not rent at this location - unless you want your things stolen!

I just want to start this review by saying Pat McClendon - Jones should defiantly be the manager of this facility. I have had interactions with her in person twice. The first time I had to go into this facility to take care of some business after the loss of my husband. She was very professional and knowledgeable as well as helpful and caring. She gave me her card and told me she would take care of me if I needed anything to call her. The second time was 4 months later, also a very bad day for me, but because of the OUTSTANDING customer service Pat provided 4 months earlier I went back to this facility to obtain a second unit, again Pat took care of me in a timely manner which was a challenge due to a a system update, everything was being done manually. Then she followed up with me two days later to reassure me that my code was working to get into my unit. I really think she should be running this facility. I have been in customer service for at least 25 yrs. It is VERY IMPORTANT to me. I will keep using this facility and refer this facility based solely on Pat McClendon - Jones being employed at it.

I havent moved in yet but I wanted everyone to know that the General Manager at this location is awesome. I made a reservation and within a few minutes I received a call from Griselda. She had a great personality and offered me to take a tour of the facility. I did that today and let me just say it is extremely well kept. They have indoor bay areas to stay out of the weather conditions and inside is all climate controlled. With this heat it was nice to be inside. She went over all my options with insurance and all the moving supplies they have available. She made me feel so important when i walked in. I rented a storage unit with this location for a little over 3yrs now. I am a hard person to please as a customer because I am very particular about customer service. I am a strong believer that the employees take on the attitude of the manager in any business. Haven said that, this compliment is not only to the employees of cube smart for their great customer service but mainly to the location manager Keith Hampton. He made my experiences there well worth it. Every time I called I can tell he was smiling while talking to me as he was sure to be very attentive to me and I NEVER had a problem with him following thru on what he says or giving me incorrect information. After being in communication a few times he knew my voice and name by heart without being given the acct. info. That for me was impressive and gave me a feeling of my items being overlooked by a close friend or someone I trust. I DON'T TRUST. So that says a lot. THANK YOU KEITH for all your help and for being a 'down to earth' person towards me. YOU made me sad to have to close out my account after 3yrs. lol YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BEING A CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINER I would hire u to train/manage my customer service dept. in a heartbeat. So I hope they show u THE APPRECIATION U DESERVE. Talk to ya soon!
