I’m looking forward to vacating my unit at the end of summer due to many reasons. Here’s a few: 1). Exorbitant rent increases. 2). Train tracks that cause additional traffic back ups and time getting to this place. 3). People smoking cigarettes and weed on the property and NOTHING being done about it. It’s been reported numerous times. Your stuff will be damaged from the smell, not to mention the possibility of a fire. 4). Poor upkeep of the property itself. Broken doors, trash and discarded items in the back lot weekly. Sliding door inside has been broken for 2 years. They’re too cheap to fix it. Fire and safety hazard. 5). People loitering in the back lot, making me feel unsafe. Not sure who they are and whether or not they’re renting here. 6). No restroom access before or after hours. If you need to use the restroom you better go before you come. 7). They’ll lock your code out after 5 days past your due date and not tell you. Inconsistent policies and practices around this. 8). Warehouse and trucking school next door and across the street. Good luck getting through. Absolute nightmare. 9). Random semis from warehouse and trucking school parked in the back lot, running over the grass and causing potholes as well as coming dangerously close to your parked car (this has happened to me twice). No security gate to prevent this! Disgraceful. 10). Indifferent, condescending district manager who doesn’t know how to speak to customers. This is how you lose customers and your occupancy rate goes DOWN. Best of luck in this place!

I attribute my positive experience to the quality of the facility and the professional, courteous, and respectful local Office Manager (Jacqueline). With so many options for storage facilities, it was a pleasure to meet Jacqueline who extended professional courtesies starting with the introduction of storage options and has been accessible throughout my rental period to address any and all concerns related to the facility. The facility is well maintained and gives one a sense of comfort and security from the moment you walk in.

Won some storage units at auction here. Ms. Brown was very polite and accommodating in making arrangements and finalizing paperwork. Very large maze like facility. Very well lit, extremely clean. Carts are a little hard to get a hold of. Clean restroom. No dumpster on site. Drive up storage units are one way in/out, and you can not squeeze two vehicles next to eachother so if someone is there already good luck getting to your unit. Inside loading area quite large, can fit a pickup and 12ft trailer with no problem. Can have a great deal of traffic on Narragansett depending on time of day, which sucks if you need to make a left and go North on Narragansett. Rent is a bit steep due to how close to city, but you get what you pay for if you need reasonably distance access from the city. Metra tracks are steps away from facility- great if you have a toddler like me that loves trains. No complaints from me.

I have been doing business with this place for several years. No complaints really.. I recently made a change to a smaller unit. The customer service people were fantastic. I basically dealt with a young man named Cordae and a young lady named Jacqueline Very nice, very professional. And on top of that, I will be saving money. Parking is good and the units are well maintained. Best storage place. A lot of people use it. Oh.. this particular Cube Smart is located on Narragansett, by the train tracks. ??????

I like the location of this facility. I do agree with one of the reviews posted. There is a staff member name Sam who NEVER wear a mask when interacting with customers. There is a signed posted on the door to ware a mask. We are in the middle of a PANDEMIC. I have complained about this before and still he does not wear a mask! There has been several times my security code would not work after hours. Each time I was told that they have two computer systems that control the codes and sometimes they don't talk to each other and this can randomly happen. What? Fix it! Being locked out of your storage in the cold with a truck load of stuff and having to wait for someone from management to come and reset your code after hours is very frustrating. I am now looking for a new storage facility. It's been over a month since I wrote my review. I sent my contact information to the email address indicated in the owner's response to my review. I still have not heard back from anyone. Wow! :{ Update 07/25/2023 I have decided to leave this company since my last post. They have increased the rates on two different occasions without notice. If you decide to rent from them, review your statement before your due date. I was luck enough to have sufficient time to find another company.

We had the BEST experience with CubeSmart at Narragansett, IL! It was the easiest & friendliest set-up when we rented a cube. We received positive, prompt support any time we reached out during our lease --- truly their team is the best. In closing out our storage unit lease, we were AMAZED at the support we received! Moving from Hawaii to Georgia, and having to do a trip to Chicago to get our furniture from storage brings challenges -- only more so when we lost our storage keys mid-travel..it was stressful given all our flights/mover truck/hired movers were booked for Chicago, but... We were BEYOND supported when right away on the phone, Jacqueline, whom I could tell was really busy with customers, made special effort to hear our situation and call her manger (who was off that day) to see how they could help us out given our situation...she genuinely cared and wanted to help us out...THEN she called back to let us know that the manager, Sam, (on his day off) offered to come in 45 mins EARLY the next day to help us out and cut the lock - since our mover truck/2 helpers would be arriving at 8:15am. The manager, Sam, honored his word and came in early -- just amazing! This is top-level customer care and it is rare to find in a business these days. Both Jacqueline & Sam easily could have said 'sorry to hear but there is nothing we can do' -- as many businesses would have. Especially since we were closing out our lease so it would have been so easy for them to do. We 100% will use CubeSmart again the next time we need storage & I hope that Jacqueline & Sam will be recognized for their superb efforts by the CubeSmart organization. Thank You!!

I was given a tour as she assured me that my storage items will be safe here. In the past at another facility I encountered terrible customer service and I was surprised to see that this facility has been turned into a Cubesmart from Self Storage. I initially was not going to go in but I am Happy I did. Wonderful Service thanks to Jacqueline. From the time I walked in until I left!!

Very unprofessional of staff; called ahead to make sure everything was set. Went thru the quote several times to assure price would remain as quoted. They called me to confirm my reservation. Then Upon arrival they quickly began to add more fees that where not mentioned initially. When asked to escalate the issue I was given a corporate phone number where all managers are at a meeting till the evening. Come to find out, the lady there whom found everything so funny; very unprofessional, was the general manager. Jacqueline whome refused to issue a truck after the reservation was including the use of a truck and was within the time window they offer and all required documents at hand; she said she would not be letting "her truck" out today. Stay away from cubesmart. That is a smart decision cubed..

They try but they didn't seem too concerned with mold growing on many of my stored objects and they provide no service if you need to break down and recycle boxes newspapers etc. This may be because storage is a money maker and providing additional services for patrons is not on their bucket list. There are many of these storage facilities in the Chicago area so shop around ask questions and see if you can find better service especially if you store for 5 years like I have.

Very easy, hassle-free process! Spoke with someone over the phone to make my reservation. Michelle, the manager, contacted me almost immediately to answer all of my questions and set up a move-in date. When you don't thin you would a storage unit but something expected happened... Store Manager Michelle was amazing! She showed the unit and explained all terms and conditions with a smile and ease! Made a stressful day a bit better to see someone smile! Thanks!

This facility and it's staff are wonderful - clean units, safe location, and large. I needed a unit only for a couple days, and they were incredibly accommodating and AFFORDABLE. Plus, for $10, I was able to use their truck to move in and out of my old apartment to the storage facility, and then from the facility to my new apartment. They took the hassle and stress out of moving, and made the experience much more manageable. Highly recommend, and will in the future.

The customer service here is A1. The staff helped me out when I had minor issues, they reached out to me on updates ASAP. They were always very friendly & helpful. I'm so grateful that I trusted them with my belongings than to going somewhere else and I'm definitely coming back if i need a storage.

If you need a storage facility this is the one to use. They are very professional, helpful and informative. Monique is very personable and professional. She walked me through different units to help me determine the size best for me. She is upfront about prices and fees (if any). The 800 number was helpful when I reserved the truck, even calling me back because she forgot to mention something. The local office called to confirm my truck reservation and notified me with full details that there might be a conflict with my truck reservation, giving me plenty of time to make alternate arrangements. I'm very happy I choose this location to store my belongings.

I had a unit here for almost a year. The owner is an incredibly sweet lady. I've even forgotten my password and we had a nice laugh at my expense of trying to retrieve it. It is extremely clean throughout the entire establishment. Def a place to consider if you're looking for great quality at a reasonable price.

I love everything about this place/Pam Schauer! Cleanliness and ease of use are a couple of the awesome aspects of the facility, but the icing is Pam: she makes the process seamless. Granted, I have no other experience renting storage space, but compared to what my friends & family are paying for what they are getting, I could not be more pleased.
