In all the years I needed a storage unit, this is by far the best one out there. A convenient location, great price and the best professional staff you can ask for. Tori had shown me 2 units that would've fit my needs but than she said she had another unit with a bigger door which was the perfect one for me. Crystal Lake CubeSmart facility was well maintained, fairly priced, and staffed with a helpful crew! I used the facility in between a new home search and moving to a new home for about 9 months and my experience was great. I experienced one price hike, after my new customer deal pricing had expired, and otherwise paid exactly what I expected. The facility was easy to access even for my movers giant truck, and open during more than reasonable hours for access. On the corporate side of things the app was smooth to use for getting to my information and seeing my automatic payments go through. Great experience overall!

Gave me a unit that was leaking water. I discovered it on moving day. Went to office to have it changed and they said they open in 15 minutes when I had movers waiting to unload. By the time they opened and exchanged my unit it cost me an extra 30 minutes of moving time.

Was told over phone our trailer had to fit inside the spot we where renting. I get there an they have a rv sticking out past its spot an wanted to give me the spot kiddy to it. No way could anyone get out of that spot if they park someone next to it. When you set rules Honor them.

Don’t trust this place. I ended my contract on 9/23. I was fully paid up as of this date. I emptied my unit with the exception of one item. A few days later they locked me out which was their decision. At this point I spoke to a gentleman at the location and informed him I was done with the unit. A few weeks later I received an email stating that they had a reservation in my name. I never setup a new reservation. Then they charged my card $411.00. I did not authorize this $411 or have an active reservation.

I have had two different units at the Crystal Lake location since 2018. Great experience with both. The staff have been great. The first unit we moved out and into our 2nd (larger) unit. Before I even had a chance to contact them, they acknowledged the closing out of my smaller unit and they returned my payment for the month (auto payment). All without my asking them to do so. They are quick and responsive. We just closed out our larger unit this weekend. They caught me at the gate to confirm I was moving out and had an email confirming closing of the unit by the end of the same day. If I need a storage unit sometime in the future, I would definitely return to CubeSmart on Teckler in Crystal Lake.

A different storage provider failed to show up for my appointment so I was in a pinch. I found CubeSmart online and they set me up within 5 mins of me registering online. Within 15 mins of me finding them online I was in front of my new storage unit. They were super helpful and I would definitely recommend!

Stay away from here, they don't care about you as a customer or the property you entrust to their care and pay! My trailer was moved by a customer and the supports for it were not put back, possibly causing damage. The ownership cared so little about it that they didn't even bother to call me to let me know it happened. I only found out when I went to check on the trailer, and at first lied and told me that it had not been moved. Once I presented the evidence of it's move, they admitted they knew it was moved but by a customer and they didn't care. They don't care about your property that you trust and pay them to store. Stay away, STAY AWAY!

First of all, I rented 2 units and then only needed 1. So, I am still a satisfied customer. The staff was always helpful when I had questions or needs. When I indicated I could use a couple of palates to make things easier for me they were more than willing to help me acquire them. And when the billing for the first and second month were not right, they told me not to worry, they would get it straightened out, which they did very promptly. SO, I could say the staff was helpful, friendly, courteous and kind.

I had a storage unit here for almost 2 1/2 years. I couldn't be happier. Tori is one of the nicest people to deal with. I've had to get my gate code multiple times because I'm an idiot, have had to ask her to cut my lock, missed payments due to debit card being frauded etc. Every issue the folks here make you feel welcome and are always helpful! Good prices, clean location, secure, and 24/7 cameras. If I ever need a storage unit again I would not hesistate to call Cubesmart!

Rented a space out here for about 6 months. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I did get my rent raised once while here and received a letter warning me of the increase. When I was going to be leaving it was a simple phone call.They didn't try to convince me to stay or give me a hard time. I've never used to storage facility before this is my first time but I will say customer service is top-notch. Both managers are superb with customer service. I had my lock brake and they help me fix it free of charge. The nice gentleman working there has even helped me lift things and my storage unit which is not part of their job. They are always attentive and kind. I couldn't say enough kind things about the people who work here and the storage unit was clean. I was in a tight situation and they even let me squeeze in my unit 2 weeks early!

I had all sorts of problems finding a large size storage unit for a reasonable price as my deadline to secure a unit was coming to a close. That was until I called CubeSmart in Crystal Lake. I spoke to Tori who went the extra mile to help me. She assured me that she had the size unit I was looking for and was willing to hold it for me. The price was better then any of the others I had checked and the unit itself was really well built, and the security looked good. What really impressed me though was Tori. Her professionalism and willingness to help accommodate my situation was above and beyond anything I had experienced with all the other companies I had contacted. The Manager:Torie of this facility is outstanding, very helpful with our reservation, very friendly and accomadating, knowledgable, showed us around, even gave us ice cold water on very warm day when we moved in. She keeps the facility very clean, deserves a raise!

Didn't know what to expect walking into the office. This was the first storage facility that we tried and went in on it after the woman helping did a wonderful job explaining how everything worked and even got the first month fo free!

We had never used a storage place before, and didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Tori (the manager, I believe) was not only very helpful but VERY friendly! Definitely would recommend!
