For 3 1/2 years I had four bedroom furniture in the 30 x 10 storage unit. It was dry. I just moved to a new home and unpacking all of the items worried but I found them in the same state as nearly 4 years ago. Thank you for keeping a roof above my items Leak-free and bug-free. Just got my storage unit. So, so far I don’t have much to add. But I will say signing up online was deceiving. It showed me what I would be paying when I came in. Which was $40 and sm change. When I got there, it ended up being $81! 1st the app showed the lock was supposed to come with unit but I was charge and then I had to sign up for insurance. I asked if it was mandatory and I was told yes The gentleman at the counter was very nice no complaints there but it would have been nice if all questions and charges were added when giving the quote so I didn’t feel deceived. I figured there would be at least a little more tax to pay but not $40 dollars of more charges.

Your gentlemen worked very very hard in the East Peoria business site. I ended up needing a unit on an aisle has ended up being a semi to deliver the load that needed to be stored. Had to purchase a larger one, but because I had already reserved a smaller one my credit went away for the first month only administrative fee. But he worked and worked to accomplish getting it unloaded before closing time

So I guess you need to put your stuff somewhere and you need it under constant lock and key and constant security. And maybe you would even like to have it be a little bit of a climate situation as well. Well honestly look no further than CubeSmart which is located in a couple convenient spots in Peoria and East Peoria Illinois. That's right folks you'll get into CubeSmart start renting and watch that price climb. Especially when you got the next size up for "free". They're kind of lairs.

Clean, didn't smell bad when I moved stuff in or when I moved my stuff out a week later . Reason for 4 instead of 5 is that it cost me $129 for 7 days without an offer to reimburse for unused time since I was given different unit. Original was $32 for month. If I have to use a storage unit again I will choose CubeSmart because of climate control and cleaness of units, but will get more details first.

They have raised their price consistently every few months. Even after recent break ins and no guarantee your stuff is safe there. Plus the whole place is an actual spider city. For the price I would assume they could afford to spray their property occasionally for massive spiders.

There's absolutely no security, gate stays open 24hrs a day. I had my unit a week and a half. Someone broke into my unit and stole over 5000.00 worth of stuff.

Nice and clean facility and guy at counter very helpful. Wasn't told before arriving from out of state that I had to have a letter from my insurance for coverage or had to buy from them. Take your own locks as well as they charge $15 for lock. Also wasn't told about $25 sign up fee. Half off first month on a $48 a month fee turned into over $90 to sign up. Nice place but ask for complete details as they said nothing to me up front.

The manager was very helpful, even when my reservation did not go on file. She made sure that I got the rental that I needed, even though I arrived 10 min before closing time. She was wonderful and made sure that I was able to get the unit opened and locked while being safe as it was dark. This is my second storage unit with this facility and I greatly enjoy it.

I know this isn't considered a charity but they really saved me when I needed it and were incredibly helpful and so kind! I only needed a place to put my things for a few months but it was everything I owned and was precious to me and I'm not rich so decent pricing and good customer service was absolutely imperative to me. Even when I was late on the first bill, I called and Christina spoke with me and was incredibly understanding and helped me take care of it right now. I have used other facilities before and this one is by far my favorite. Please use Cube Smart if you are shopping around!

The unit itself is decent. Very clean. Nothing got damaged from being stored there. However, their customer service is terrible. We had issues with our gate code two nights in a row, after being promised it was fixed. I then felt I was inconveniencing the staff member who I was instructed to call with any issues to fix it. We get a notice in the mail saying they're raising their rental rates. How could they after such terrible service? We got our stuff from the unit and when they called to ask if we were done with it (because they were out to lunch at the time we got our stuff) I asked if they needed anything from me (because we had the lock and keys) and the woman had the audacity to say "A good review would be nice." You NEVER ask a customer for a positive review.

Very manipulative, borderline criminal. They quote you a price, then when you show up with a uhaul full of belongings and have no other choice you are informed of the other $30 to $40 a month you have to pay that wasnt mentioed. For example forcing you to buy thousands of dollars of insurance on your belongings from them no matter what you have or if you dont want or need it. And god forbid the chsrges iffyour one day late on payment. And much much more. A very manipulative untrustworthy company taking advantage of peoples situation and misfortune.

It was not actually i who rented through them but i split the cost with my cousin and had a few items inside.... I told her to go else where to begin with... And wish she would have being ex military family ive learned to go through the self owned storages theyre usually more helpful then places like this... The insurance you have to have on the storage is just a rip off no where else has ever said we had to have insurance and she was a week late on a payment and they put a red lock on the door... Give me a break a week late and yall put a red lock on... Anywhere else would have been 2 months late... Like i said ive had a lot of storage units lol... And at times had forgotten about them but they where no where near as rude and quick to jump as these f**king people.... Go else where never rent from these people when we got rid of it we seen a few rows of red locks... Its just not worth it.... Stay away and go somewhere else if anything duke storage is decent and not too far from this area... Id go anywhere but here.

My initial view was that the charges I was expected to pay were not fairly represented by the firm. I was told I could rent for $61.00 a month initially and by the time you tack on the required insurance and fees, I will be paying $71.00 a month. The pass code provided did not work and if someone would not have been leaving as we made our first drop, I'm not sure what it would have taken to actually begin using the storage unit.

I would not recommend using this place. If you pay rent and vacate the unit before the next due date they will not refund any of your money. Save yourself time and money and look for another place!
