Corporate cube smart was raising my rates at 26%. They were charging new customers less than half of what they were charging me and I had been there for a number of years. It's another example of corporate greed. The facility is quite good. The local management team is good and everything is been safe.

I have used the Cube Smart on Morse Ave in Elk Grove Village since the beginning of COVID 2020. Sadly, my daily commute and living are taking me away from EGV and I will be moving my contents to another Cube Smart April 2023. Dennis does a great job with customer service. He was great on the registration end and was very understanding on the vacancy side of things. The property was always clean during my stint there. Anytime something needed repair such as the front gate or other mtce type issues, they were addressed. Sorry life is taking me away, but....Thank you!

The price increase while still in Covid lockdown protocol forced the issue to vacate my unit at the Cube Smart facility in EGV. Management and staff are outstanding people and went above and beyond to help me in my situation. While only having a few days to liquidate the contents of my unit, Darren who is the General Manager at Cube Smart in EGV, and Shelly the Manager were extremely helpful with their suggestions and assistance in locating Families in need and other facilities that accepted donations. Not many people step up to help others out the way that Darren did, especially in our present situation and I will never forget what they did for me. Thank you Darren and Shelly.

We’ve been customers of this location for nearly 10 years and have always been very satisfied. The main reason we’ve stayed is the customer service that’s been provided by Darren in the front office. He’s one good “son” of gun in our book! He was excellent in helping us find the perfect size storage unit as our needs(stuff) have grown over time. I chose a smaller unit on May 21st then I realized I had more stuff so I went back online to reserve one of their bigger units but I made a mistake and reserved it through another website. So I also reserved one on the cubesmart website as well. The best thing was the gentleman who helped me fix my mistakes was so nice even though I had put 2 dings against his office because he had to cancel 2 reservation which look bad for his office. I've been renting at this facility for 30 years and I have to say that working with Darren for almost half of that time has been wonderful. He is always a joy to work with in any matter (renting a new locker, renting the truck, problems solved right away) and suggests good savings points when he sees them. Suggested I move into a larger unit rather than have 2 smaller ones oin the part and it saved me $40+ s month. Shelly has been a great addition to the team. The upper management team reads these reviews. I received a phone call from the facility manager stating that upper management had seen my review and he was to fix the problem at the facility level. Due to their software change since last year the facility manager had to manually annotate the free month in my file. The software that is being used will not give a receipt for the 13 month as previous software did. The facility manager is and has always been very courteous and professional but the new software would not allow him to give the promotion of the 13 month free on my receipt. Cubesmart does care and is a good place to do business.

Darren and his crew were amazing. I was travelling through Chicago on my way back to Australia and just needed a small shed for a couple of weeks to store a suitcase. Not only were they positive and quite funny, they literally went above and beyond to try to find me the lowest price while still adhering to my needs. I seriously cannot recommend this Cubesmart enough. Even if you are closer to another cubesmart, do yourself a favour and travel the extra distance to these guys in Elk Grove.

Probably the smoothest "onboarding" experience I've had in the 24 years I've used self storage. Keith followed-up with me by phone within an hour of me making my space reservation online and Darren had me in my new unit shortly after my arrival with a working gate entry code and was available to answer any questions I had during the initial move-in period.

This Place was Great, Darren was Great, My Friend Fred rented with me. These are top Notch People. However, some Cube smarts are not good. In fact in Wheeling Illinois and Schaumberg Illinois You probably do not want to go to as the people there are not friendly and just do not understand business or customer service. The 1750 Busse Road place is and was Great.!!!

I've had a storage unit here for several years. Darren has always displayed superior customer relations. A few years ago we had unusually heavy rains causing a leak in the roof of my unit. Darren immediately offered a solution and transferred me to a new unit so the other could be repaired. The facility is always kept clean with maintenance done regularly and professionally. Bottom line; great customer service and professionalism at a well run secure facility.

Outrageous late fees! $43.80 late fee for just 5 days late!!! Stay away at all cost!! They keep raising the rent about 10% a year. They may give you a good rate to start, but watch out, the rates go up! I definitely recommended you look elsewhere!!!!!
