Very very excellent customer service. There was a lady that helped us out me and my boyfriend we were looking for a storage unit a half and hour before close she showed us gave us a tour of the place and was very entertaining to listen too and explain everything to us. Then after the tour we said we would call her in a couple days and see for sure but we were positive that we were going to get it. We showed up 5 mins before close and she rented us out a unit. PublicStorage was jacking up my storage unit rate effective 4/1, and after 10 days of haggling with their “customer disservice” department, I finally called CubeSmart on 3/31. What a difference…it was just like that scene from the Wizard of Oz when after the tornado, Dorothy walks out of the house and everything is peaceful and in beautiful color. Great price, great faculty and great customer service! Property Manager Jonelle saved the day and got me into a new unit in about 20 minutes! She worked so quickly that I still had time to vacate the old unit on 3/31, saving me $180 per month for the next six months!! ????????. Thank you so, so much CubeSmart!!

The staff were great. I went in the first time asking about sizes and prices, and they were very helpful. I went in the second time to start service, and they made it very quick and easy. Very responsive on the phone for calls. The unit itself was in good condition. I visited once when it had recently snowed a lot, and it was cleared pretty well.

No hassles, did exactly as I expected. My one complaint for this particular location is the placement of the keypad to enter the gate. It makes no sense, logistically, and is a pain to pull up to. I cannot enter without going into reverse 2-3 times.

I was asked to give a review and I agreed because I appreciate a company that helps keep their employees safe. We stopped here to check out some options for shelter for my husbands collectibles or as I call them Junk! Unfortunately they didn't have the size we needed but we will be back! I was very happy with Jonelle she was Fun and Professional! She was wearing a mask and gloves. The place is clean and they have plastic windows up in the office to protect the employees and from what I understood from Jonelle they were GIVEN masks, gloves, and cleaning supplies from the company! It makes you appreciate a company more when their employee speaks highly of them and is appreciative. I have worked in many places that can use a few pointers from here. Keep up the great work Jonelle and CubeSmart!

The Cubesmart staff - Jonelle & Chris are wonderful. The problem I have is they require you to have insurance. They could easily have you sign a waiver; I think it’s a scam to add $12 to my monthly bill. The things I’m storing are really not worth insuring.

Over the past month and a half I have bought a total of 4 or 5 moving kits. They are the best deal. They come with different size of boxes and tape and even buuble wrapping. Everytime I come in Janelle and Chris are happy and helpful and ALWAYS carry my supplies to the car for me. Stopped in here with a list of dimensions. Jonelle was very helpful with helping me find the right size box to ship some items to family members. While there I had told her that I seen them cheaper at Public Storage on Roosevelt where I currently have a shed. She pointed out that Public Storage boxes may be a little cheaper but these are thicker and also have handles for easy carrying! I had to buy them after that comparison and honesty! Lol I may be back to get a shed here as well.

We decided to rent a small unit to help declutter our home in preparation for putting it on the market. I submitted an online request, and a short time later received a call from Salman (the site manager). He explained the cost of the unit (and the additional $24 initial administrative fee) and I arranged to visit. When I arrived he was very friendly and welcoming, showed me the unit (clean, easily accessible, and convenient) and *very* clearly explained everything I needed to know in light of using the rental. It was very easy to understand, and everything was up front.

I stopped in last month looking for a storage area. Just googled and saw all the great reviews for Lombard IL location. It was pouring rain out and Mia was the lady that helped me . She took me to outside storage lockers and I just didn't know what or how big I needed. Then I asked her to see the inside ones and we found a perfect fit for me. I am sure I drove her crazy but she was very kind , helpful & patient with me. I have always used Public Storage before and even had a appointment for the same day. Cube smart was very clean and could not of been anymore accommodating. I still stopped at the "other place" and by far Cube smart was the cleanest and priced the best. I have been using this location for the last 7 years. Over that period I probably switched units a few times either because I outgrew the space or repairs needed to be made. The managers have always done a great job keeping the place clean and well lit. Whenever I had an issue it has been addressed in a timely fashion. It's a great location just off 2 main roads. I would recommend them for short-term or long-term use.

CubeSmart is amazing. From my first-ever experience on the phone (I wish I could remember the guy's name because he was HILARIOUS and so so nice) to move-in literally 12 hours after reserving my locker, I had an amazing experience with friendly, knowledgeable people. Joshua helped me locate my locker and even offered to help and gave me some advice. The prices are ridiculously affordable and I know my things are safe here. I has 2 storage units at the Lombard location. They were clean, dry and affordable. Lina and the staff at CubeSmart were professional, courteous and efficient. They recognized me at their facility, knew my name and even called me at home when they noticed the lock on one of my units was not fully engaged.
