Very unrealistic rent increases and poor grounds maintainence (primarily snow removal). In a pinch for a very short couple month rental term maybe, otherwise I would not recommend.

The interstate location needs to update the equipment. It took a few hours for my code to work. The manager provided great service but the problem was out of his control. After a few hours, he was able to fix the gate code. However, the buttons don't always work and there is only one way in. I have rented at other locations and had no problems. I would definitely avoid this location in the future. Especially if your on a schedule and paying movers by the hour. This could have really been a nightmare if I had scheduled the movers for the day. I reserved the unit online a few weeks in advance, so technical issues should have been worked out.

The pricing could be better but I am upset mostly that the area you drive in is not salted, my boyfriend fell while moving stuff into the storage unit and the lady I talked to said she would salt it but we went there the next day and the day after and they never salted the areas that need it the most but otherwise it’s been okay.

Accidentally, reserved a non-climate controlled unit online. When Doug called to confirm the unit he was able to get me into a climate controlled unit. No problem to switch the online order. I rented a climate controlled unit this spring in order to prepare my house for sale and a pending move, during the "Stay at home" period in 2020 due to Covid. Henry, the General Manager could not have been more cordial to me and everything was arranged over the phone and email. Cubesmart's Covid 19 plans are great! This morning I stopped at the office to purchase a moving kit and I met Henry. I told him this storage unit has been a great thing and a great value for me to use while clearing out my house for showings. One again, he was very cordial and professional. Another employee was also very kind and loaded the kit into my car. I highly recommend this location for your storage needs.

If I could give more than five stars I would! Clean facility, love the climate controlled units and having a cart inside made loading and unloading so much easier! The manager, Henry, is the real star! He knows customer service inside out and was always there to lend a hand, no matter what we needed. They don't come much nicer! Most people don’t write reviews about storage units positively because honestly what is there to write about? It’s a space for junk you don’t want to keep at home. Henry however Henry however takes the time to break the mood in unique ways and makes it feel infinitely more personal. Well worth selecting this place over others if for that reason alone. But it’s up to date and clean if that wasn’t enough for you!

I have been working with the manager Henry Taylor on a couple of units and he has been beyond helpful while we have been using the units. They were all clean and ready to go when we needed them. Would recommend this location and Henry to anyone. Also like that the location is gated for extra additional security. MAJOR UPDATE 3/6/21 A year later my wife and I are moving out finally. Henry and Doug have gone way beyond call of duty to help us every time we asked. Today they cleared ice because we were in from out of state unexpectedly. We were able to get in/out no problem. Both of these guys are professional and polite every time. AAA+

I cant imagine renting a cube from anyone else!! My niece just moved to the area and needed to store some items since her apartment wouldn't be ready for almost 2 months. Searching a new area for storage can be difficult. There are a few things I hold in high regard, which are safe area, clean facility, price, and customer service, and Henry Taylor delivered on each one perfectly!! The decision was easy. The building was well lit and housekeeping was impeccable. I was thoroughly satisfied with Henry's customer service, professionalism, knowledge of needs, and his ability to relate to all of my concerns. I am very happy with my decision to keep my niece's items here with no doubts or qualms in mind as I have done with previous businesses. I can rest easy to know Henry has our best interests at hand.

I was in a real pickle and I needed a huge storage unit fast. I went online and found a great deal on a unit here. The team running the place are so friendly and easy to talk to! They had everything I needed to get going fast. It took about 30 minutes to sign up with them, they walked me to the unit I would be renting and made sure I was happy with the size and location. Easy location and clean grounds! Definitely recommend!

We recently moved and needed some extra space to store our belongings. We found Cube Smart and decided to give it a try. As soon as we came in, we were greeted and the manager opened the door for us and shook our hands. This manager didn’t work at this location as she was helping out. She was friendly, welcoming, and informative. She gave us a lot of information and went through everything step by step. The unit she showed us was not fully clean yet, so she went outside right away and cleaned it for us so we’d be able to come back the same day and store our belongings. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and the experience was great! Thanks!

This was my very first time renting from Cube Smart in Loves park on Interstate and It has been a AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! I've been in my unit for two years after moving out of state and I've never felt so comfortable with my things being out of my reach but Rudy and Diane ARE HANDS DOWN THEEEEE BEESSSSTTT!!!!! LOCATION CANT BE BEAT. the Interstate Blvd Cube Smart in Loves Park is the best Cube Smart in the franchise. I did not think that the Service by Rudy and Diane could be topped. Rudy and Diane were long time on site managers and were stellar. Henry and Doug are friendly, efficient and an absolute pleasure to work with. They always go the extra mile to make sure that things are clean & organizedThey greet me by name and even have held doors. The fact that they hold a Key and are able t accept delivery for my work packages is fantastic. They are looking out for their customers and truly building loyalty. Diane at CubeSmart is always great to work with! The only reason I gave them a 4-star is that when the power went out over the winter, no one contacted us to let us know. Thus, when I went over to get my car out of storage for the spring, the battery was dead. I had a battery tender on it for the winter, but without power...since then, she has kindly been proactive in transferring me to another unit that became available. Update 9/4/2020, 5-stars. Henry, the new General Manager, has been even better to work with. His enthusiasm is noticeable with each interaction. He is pro-active and seems willing to help with all my needs, especially when the tornados came thru and damaged the door to my unit. Great guy! Nice plus to the already handy storage place. Thx

As a new customer of CubeSmart at first we got of to a rocky start. My access code wouldn't work the first time I went to get into the gate. But I called the 1-800 number on the fence and they gave me a temp pass code for that day. The next day I went in and Diane had it fixed ASAP. I like the unit we rented no smells very clean. What I like most is that its a gated storage unit area, and the managers live on the same property. Thank You CubeSmart. Gated and managers living on property is the way to go. I would RECOMMEND this storage area on Interstate Blvd.

0 Stars. They raise the rent all the time. Anywhere from $20 to $70+ They did not raise me the total they wanted this last time. People in the office are fantastic. But can't do anything about the money grabbing corporation. Cube smarts prices are more than all the other storage places. And the other places don't constantly raise prices on you. No security - cameras have been broken for years. Gates broken, been broken. Have to go through upper management for approval. It's been broken over 2 weeks. Do yourself and your money a favor and go somewhere, anywhere else...

Diane & Rudy are the "best of the best" when it comes to customer service. They are always very helpful. My company has worked with them for many years and they are by far the most accommodating, professional and pleasant managers of this property year-in and year-out. They are truly an asset to the CubeSmart team and a good part of the reason why this location has so many longstanding clients.

I have been a long time Customer of Cube Smart..... Over the Years Diane and Rudy have provided Consistent and Awesome Customer Service. I have also been very impressed with how Well kept they keep the property from planting flowers and landscaping to regular maintenance. When I come in to make my payments Diane is always welcoming and ready to assists me and answer any questions I may have. Overall They have made my experience as a customer at Cube Smart a positive one.

If you are looking for secure storage and great customer service look no farther than Cube Smart on Interstate Blvd in Loves Park,IL Diane and Rudy always have a smile, they are courteous, professional and go the extra mile every day. I have been at this storage facility for 5 years and would only change locations if Diane and Rudy were not managing the facility. They know all the delivery drivers, they watch out for you and are caring concerned and competent at their jobs. The snow is cleared, the lights all work and they know the tenants. CUBE SMART you are luck to have Diane and Rudy.

Diane and Rudy Extremely nice people and that made me even more comfortable wanting to leave my belongings there. My initial contact was over the phone, and I chose this particular facility because of how "customer friendly" Diane was when I initially spoke to her. This Cube Smart is quite a way from where I live, but I chose it because of Diane. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends. Top notch service and the facility is in good shape and seems to be well maintained.

Great people to work with. They not only provided a storage unit they provided recommendations on what unit best suited my needs, movers that people have had good experiences with in the past, and a very reasonable price for storage.
