Easy to set up. The manager answered all of our questions and made the transaction very easy. Only thing that I didn't like is that we had to back a moving van down to the storage cube as there is no place to turn around where my cube is located.

The process was pretty easy. I was frustrated by surprise mandatory fees but even with the fees they are less expensive overall than other storage facilities. I also read how to cancel their mandatory insurance if you have your own insurance.

Was looking around for storage units and had my eye set on a company that seemed to good to be true until I talked to Shane (international customer service) who was GREAT and took care of all my questions and reserved my unit at CUBESMART. I never leave reviews because it’s not worth my time honestly. BUT! I will always give credit where it’s due and Jamie at the Loves Park location off of Forest Hills Road made the process even easier than my phone conversation. Took care of everything we needed. Was a very quick and painless process. And explained everything just as the other gentleman that helped me. Left nothing out and laid it all out on the table for review and we signed the line. Thank you for the fast and easy process to have a place to store our things ????

DO NOT GO HERE. Mold in unit caused me to loose every item I had. Insurance offered by Cubesmart does not cover mold. No reolution offored by cubesmart to move units/treat mold in unit or anything. had at least 3 managers in 6 months, did not file the incident report they were supposed to do.

Gave them another chance this year because I had nowhere else to go and thought the bad unit was a fluke. It turns out "vehicle storage units" = unit they were too lazy to fix the leaks in so they charge you less. That was never told to me during the purchase. It leaked on my car every time it rained and water pooled up. I expected it, it was a 10 x 25 unit like the one I had last year. However I was told by management "they fixed the leak" and that my rent would go up (I don't think you should upcharge me for fixing your problem) but that never happened. Something worse did, they told me that it was fixed (it wasn't) because shortly after being told it was "fixed" it was still leaking everywhere. I was then informed that they were shutting down the unit "until further notice" so I was thrown out for something that was not my problem. I asked them for a similarly sized unit that could be price matched to what I was paying ($150 a month) and they refused. They offered me a 10x20 for the price of $270... I left and went to another place that offered me a 10 x 20 for $130. That was very inconvenient. I do not recommend.

My furniture was infested with bugs. My mother killed and almost got bit by a brown recluse . When I contacted manager she was very rude . I was told by another manager that because of the situation she would have a couple guys go through my stuff to make sure there was no more , the other Manger stated she wouldn't put her employees at risk . I then asked her if I was bit she said it wasn't their responsibility. Very rude uncaring of their customers. Their is a fence as a ceiling so anything and everything can go from unit to unit . I wouldn't recommend these people to anybody!

Extremely Disorganized. Spent over an hour when I went to sign lease, only to find out that someone was already in the unit we had a reservation on for over a month. They refused to upgrade us to the next size at the price we had agreed to, but asked us to downgrade. Seemed like a logical and fair ask as it was their mess up and not our and the smaller unit wasnt enough space for us. WIsh we would have looked elsewhere..

Was bad enough having to move in the winter but first time ever needing a storage unit after price and location hunting to best suit our needs we found cube smart.. Best in location and best on price but after signing for storage unit and paying we found out our unit was all the way in back and wouldn't be a problem but nothing was plowed to get to our unit and had to bring our own shovel to even get in our unit then had tons of cars trucks campers and other people's property parked off to the side that made it even harder to drop off loads to our unit!! Not very happy about that!! And on top of that got a nail in my tire of my truck dropping off a load that was I'm sure in a pile of snow we had to drive threw to get to our unit... All those united and enough money they make they NEED to at least have the storage unit property plowed for customers!!!

The only good thing about this place is that they are reasonably inexpensive. But otherwise the lanes are way to narrow, and they don’t plow in the winter. I unfortunately had to walk through 2 feet of water (from melted snow) last winter to empty my storage unit, my feet were soaked and freezing . Also they make you have storage insurance not sure if that’s standard or not, but just be aware that you need to have it to rent a unit with them.

I scheduled a move in a few weeks ago for the 22nd. I was called to confirm shortly and all was well until the day of move in. On the 22nd, Phyllis called to say there was snow frozen so high that my unit was not accessible. She said someone would be out to fix the problem that day and asked if I could move in on another day. I told her that was fine but I absolutely needed it by the 3rd, so I would like to move in on 3/1. She told me that would be fine and she would update the system. The day before, I realize I still haven't gotten any communication from the office so I check online and see my reservation was still for 2/22 so I had to update it myself. Red flag #1. Then I call on 3/1 to confirm and Phyllis tells me the problem has not been resolved and there is no way I can get to my unit. Thankfully I hadn't already paid, because I was able to find a cheaper and bigger unit closer to home to meet my needs. If you have a storage unit facility, the snow should always be shoveled right away. 1. There should be no reason the snow got so high and then froze. I wasn't born last night to realize that only happens if the snow wasn't plowed for a long period of time. 2. If your issue wasn't fixed, don't make it my issue! Find a better solution ie. another unit. 3. COMMUNICATE! Had they called me even the night before I would have been happier than only finding out a couple of hours before I was supposed to show up. I would have went up there for nothing. Thankfully I saw the red flags and called but everyone should be alert of this place. I'll take my money elsewhere

So I’ve been a customer with cube smart for a little over a year now and every time that I’m either came to pay my payment or had a question about something Samantha is the one that help me and has been extremely helpful today I had a bad situation and needed to go to my storage and when I got there I realized that I was snowed in on the door and wouldn’t of been able to get in so she help me with a shovel for 15 to 20 minutes freezing so that I can get in after being able to be let in I realize there was a lightbulb out she relentlessly help me carry two different letters until she got the right size to fix lightbulb for me if that’s not going out of your way for a customer I don’t know what is She NEEDS A RAISE!!!!!!!!

well, my unit is musty moldy smelling, and the roof leaks, my floor is moist, the girl said its an old oil stain, its not , its moisture coming up from the ground, and the roof is leaking onto the floor, there are drips there every time I go to use it.

My experience with CubeSmart has been phenomenal from the very beginning when I called the 800 number. It got even better when visiting the store and meeting the managers, Julie and Samantha. Both ladies were so very helpful and friendly in this very stressful time. I even enjoyed just hanging out for a little bit chatting with them about life, etc. I would highly recommend this store to anyone needing any kind of storage, or in any life situation.

Got there after 4 pm on a Saturday and Julie was amazing. My daughter is moving back to Rockford and my little house couldn't hold her suff until she finds an apartment, so I was in charge of finding a storage unit. First thing I liked was Cube's website. It was very easy to navigate. I also liked their office hours - someone is there 7 days a week. As I said, Julie was amazing. She explained everything thoroughly, took me to see different units and helped me decide on a size. She wasn't at all impatient as I ended up taking longer than expected, and we didn't get everything done until after 5, when they closed. All in all, an excellent experience!

I had never rented a storage unit before, we came and looked at a smaller one advertised online but we quickly found out it was too small. The staff at cubesmart was able to get us into a larger storage unit and EVEN kept our month free with No Added Money out of our pockets!!! Samantha was extremely helpful and friendly! It didn't take long at all and the location is very convenient. She took us on a golf cart to show us the unit which was very spacious and super clean. The price is excellent and insurance more than reasonable! I recommend this storage to everyone in need! I give it 5 stars .

The staff is wonderful! They were very courteous and friendly. They made sure to tell us that they had many other units available if the unit I had reserved doesn't quite meet my size needs. Stayed for about 20 minutes afte the transaction was complete just talking about things going on and trading stories. Very down to earth people A+++

I was in very unfortunate, sad situation and Kim and Vicki were so kind, understanding and patient with me; even got me to relax and smile. They asked the right questions so I rcvd storage locker best for my needs.They had it swept and new rubber placed on bottom of door so no water, snow, leaves, etc would blow in, when I returned the next day. I struggle securing door/lock, so taught me till I got it right, alone. They both have glowing, optimistic attitude. Thank you!

Kim and Vicki always do a wonderful job. They are always super friendly and always greet us with a smile. During every winter storms, I can count on Kim having in front of my door clean. They take so much pride in their property and I would highly recommend renting a space from these two girls. I checked out other facilities and nothing compares to this facility and no one compare to the friendliness of Kim and Vicki. Thanks for going the extra mile always for your customers. Kim is always outgoing and super friendly. She always has a smile on her face and is always happy to greet her people. Kim spends alot of time getting to know each of the people she rents to and know each person by name. She always goes out of her way to make sure everyone is alright and if there is an issue it is taken care of right away.
