First, about the company in general, the CubeSmart Assitance Mangers are awesome! I talked with Sean and it was possibly the best costumer service I've ever received. Second, this specific CubeSmart location is pretty much as good as you'll get with a storage facility. It's pretty well maintained, clean, and properly climate controlled.

Needed a storage unit same day. The other place I tried closed 10min early but this location was open and Alex was really helpful. Quick 20-30 min process. Storage unit was clean and easy to enter and exit with an app!

Beware of the very low introductory price and then a few months Cube Smart raises the rate substantially. In my case it was over 30% Classic bait and switch!!! When I inquired about the increase I was basically told “too bad”. Not the customer service you’d expect. As for the facilities, the door to my unit didn’t line up with the lock and makes it challenging to lock. If I could do it over I’d definitely look elsewhere.

The website was super easy to navigate, and the follow up on my requests for info was nearly instant. Then once I was actually in front of the store manager, Mike, he was a complete pro to deal with, and a great guy all around. This location is easy to access. My issue is their non sense policy. I was trying to upgrade my unit to a bigger one. The staff is telling me they can't honor the discount on the website. I'll have to move out and come back as a new customer. Great way to keep long time customers here! ?? And please cubesmart don't reply asking me to contact you, there r so many other storage spaces in the area. Also, BE AWARE.... if you are trying to complete the registration process on their website, you will get charged for a lock and insurance. There is no option to change these options even if you already have both.

We used this location with Michael the manager for three years. Michael is amazing and helped us so many times when we needed help with our unit living 4,000 miles away from it. We learned there is a big difference service wise with Michael compared to other storage units we have rented over time. thank you Michael for making the whole storage experience wonderful!

Michael is a true asset to the company. He is helpful to his ability, however the company is the epitome of greed and their long term customer retention model is non existent. I rented from may 2020 until May 2023 and my rent started at $128 in 2020 for a 10x15 unit and was going to renew for $266 in 2023. A 100% increase in 3 years because their occupancy is at 96%. I tried to stay and move to a different unit and as a current customer I was unable to receive rates for new customers. In other words they valued new customers vs. exististing customers. It makes be scratch my head. As a result, I moved to another facility for the same size and $140 a month. Again, no problem with Michael --- his company is just greedy. I can't imagine I will be back!

Check in was easy with Michael; he was a nice guy. Everything was explained thoroughly. The storage unit was clean, and if you don't have a lock for the unit they offer one for a small price. Side note, thankfully he had an eyeglass repair kit because one of the screws fell out of one of the frame arms. I definitely recommend this place to others.

I've had nothing but a good experience at this Cubesmart in Plainfield. Michael has been very accommodating from start to finish, especially when I needed a few pallets and help opening the gate. Michael, the manager of this location was great to work with, he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the space and that it worked for my needs. One word of caution as you secure the unit, I reserved online but as I got to the location the monthly cost was $10 more than I remembered, I was able to print the reservation screen to a PDF showing the quoted price and emailed it to Michael later that day. He adjusted my monthly billing to the correct price. No fault of his, more of a CubeSmart issue I would imagine but he made it right.

When we went to cubesmart on industrial dr in Plainfield, we met Michael smoczynski. We told him what our problems were because we sold our house really quickly. He showed us what he had available and advised us on what we would need. Not only was he completely right, but we had about 4 feet to spare. Michael was always pleasant when we went in with questions and always a good word to cheer us up because we felt so overwhelmed. Michael is definitely a major asset to your company and he should commended for all of his efforts. Michael the manager at the Plainfield, IL location on Industrial drive is by far the most customer service oriented individual that I've encountered in a long time. I had to rent two different storage bins on 2 separate occasions where both times, I was on a plane trying to get there prior to the movers arriving, and Michael saw to it that everything was delivered and intact. I would absolutely use CubeSmart again and again because of Michael and his way of making you feel absolutely looked after!! He's the best!

If you want a clean facility to store your items, superior customer service and convenient access, then Cubesmart on Industrial Drive in Plainfield is the best place to get a storage unit. I have a unit there and oversee a relative's unit at a competitor's(national chain)location and Cubesmart is undeniably the best! The manager,Mike Symocynski, and his staff are friendly, courteous ,knowledgeable, accomodating and very efficient. Mike has assisted me on several occasions offering me the best solutions to my storage needs. I won't go any place else because of the customer service. I cannot say enough about this place....it deserves 5 stars and more. Update I moved out of my 2 storage units. I was on a short timeline to get my things out. Mike Symocynski and Nikki provided OUTSTANDING support!! They helped me in many ways; from suggestions as to how to donate some of my things in short notice to being available for my designated helpers when I was out of town. Mike even helped me on his day off!! Mike has been a blessing to me throughout my item's stay at Cubesmart; so helpful and kind. As I move out of the area ,I hope that I can find someone half as nice as the staff at Cubesmart on Industrial Drive in Plainfield. Thank you Mike and Nikki for everything!!

Went in to the other Plainfield location to get the space I reserved online. Upon inspection, found the space to small. The young lady there, I believe her name is Pam, graciously offered to help find the space I needed, since she didn't have one. She called Michael at this location and he helped me get the one I needed, even though it was almost closing time. He was more than happy to stay beyond closing to finish the paperwork and show me the available units. I will be highly recommending both locations to everyone I know.

In all my years of using storage rental facilities, the Cubesmart on Industrial Dr. has by far provided me with the best experience. Site manager Micheal is extremely welcoming, friendly, highly informative, and willing to go out of his way to meet your every need. This location provides climate controlled and non climate controlled units. The storage units are all in good shape. Password entry with a brand new entrance gate is a plus. A standard sized 4 wheeled flat bed push/pull cart is also provided for convenience. If you need a storage unit definitely call in advance as this is a very busy location.

The Manager Mike, was very professional, all details covered on the reservation, reminder day before and the day of the check-in. It was a pleasure to work with him on the rental. He is ambitious and focused on efficiency in getting the customer in and out as quickly as possible. Though I did not need all services, Mike was very good at suggestive selling and explaining why a customer may want to consider some of the elements in addition to the basic contract. Thanks to his service, I did elect to purchase additional packing materials at his site, normally I would have gone to a larger retail outlet to look for a better price. The pricing was not outrageous in comparison, so for convenience I purchased as he suggested.
