Mary was extremely helpful and friendly. I had lost the keys to my locker and needed to have the lock drilled. She asked if I could wait, as she was waiting for a customer. The customer never showed up and after 45 minutes or so, Mary put the “ back in 15 minutes “ sign in the window and went to my locker to drill the lock. I even returned to the office while she was working on my lock, no one was waiting. Not only was she committed to getting my lock drilled, but she was aware that another customer also needed her attention…

I had a storage space at public storage in Naperville that left a bad taste in my mouth. When I found this place online, I assumed the tasteless experience would be the same. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. The sign up was seamless and the ladies in the front office were extremely professional and helpful throughout the process. Not to mention, they always spoke if I came by to check on my items making me feel my stuff was in good hands. I don’t remember the other lady name. But that Mary customer service was exceptional and she always went above and beyond. The inside is clean and well kept. The elevators didn’t have left over debris or nor was it all stinky. I personally don’t like carpet in storage places. However, the carpet at this facility didn’t smell or look bad. I checked out today and although I’m happy I don’t have to pay monthly for a unit anymore, I’m going to miss the friendliness and the experience this place offered. Overall, my experience was superb and if I ever need to rent a unit again in this area or if I know someone in this area or if you’re looking for a unit, this place is #1. From the quality of service to the units. Leave your belongings in good hands.

I moved here from another location down the road and it is a night and day difference, cleaner, better lighting, and climate controlled. Bambi was friendly and very helpful with everything. This is a great place for storage. Not only is the facility, clean, dry, and secure, but the staff are amazing. Both Mary B. and Bambi work in the office and have been extremely attentive. Facilities were spotless, with good deals for climate controlled units, and the whole place was designed to make it easy to store things there (a garage to pull into, easily accessible carts and elevators close to the door). This place has an awfully rude rep in the office. At the beginning when we were looking to rent a unit she was somewhat pleasant but once it was eented the next day she did a 360 turn and was rude every single time we had a question. We have rented in the past but it had been awhile so we had questions and let me tell you..we were sorry to even ask. I had to go in and ask that I needed the light fixture on our 10X30 fixed and it was like asking for the sun to be brought down. She made a face and said:"noone complains about a 2nd light". Which to my response was, then why is there a light, plus since we have a bigger unit I cannot see the items in the back without a light. Needless to say she was bothered and said: "well I'll call the handy guy and I don't know when he'll come but you have to come when he's available or you have yo leave a key ??" I agreed to get this convo over with but 1 week past by and nothing. I went back in to remind her and it clearly looked like she had forgotten and NEVER made that call and just said:"I haven't gotten a response I'll call again". ?? a few days later it was fixed..no apologies or nothing. It was dreadful dealing, asking that lady a question. Another time when i asked when the special would be over, if i was able to get another deal she quivkly responded:"no, you pay full price". I asked: "what about if my son rents out a unit"..she quickly said: "ill flag your account. I can flag you right away and if you dont pay, ill have your stuff taken out!" ?? We were asking questions to see if there was any ways we could save some money after our 2 month rental in case we needed more time, but this lady started going off and assumed way too much. I believe in Customer Service and that place does NOT have it. The units itself are ok but half if the time when we were moving our stuff, we noticed that the AC was not working. Perhaps they turned it off or had it low but it felt more like a fan running. There were 2 more new reps when we were moving out of there, so hopefully that awful rude person is gone. But if you care how you are talked too..youll avoid this place. Needless to say we moved our stuff to a different storage area with kinder reps. and saving more money because the other rep is willing to work with us after our 2 month rental in case our garage is not finished.

I needed to store some extra things that did not fit in my temporary living space. This particular CubeSmart is fantastic! The storage units are new and clean and are not musty or dirty, which I very much appreciate. What was especially fantastic was the very high level of customer service by the on site manager, Bambi. She went above and beyond for me and made my whole experience a pleasure. She was so kind and nice and pleasant to talk she cheered me up tenfold,,as moving anything is not my favorite activity. And she did a terrific job of making sure I knew all the processes and procedures to ensure moving my things into storage went smoothly and efficiently. I cannot stress enough how much how Bambi went out of her for me. If ONLY I received that level of service everywhere!!! Additionally the office was clean and orderly, and the bathroom was immaculate. Next time I have to grab something from my unit, I hope Bambi is there so I can say hello. I very much enjoy her company as she is a breath of fresh air. and a real asset. I highly recommend the Riverwoods CubeSmart location to everyone.

I got the worst service in my life on the day I moved in. The location is 3725 Deerfield Rd, Riverwoods, IL. I was asked to prepay a hundred dollars in cash to secure my use of the reserved truck. But I don't get any invoices. The issue from the elevator was not available due to the size of my sofa. There was a delay of about twenty minutes when I’m return the truck. I was told by the service manager that it was impossible to get the $100 bond that was supposed to be returned to me. What I got answers from her is I need to leave immediately. Otherwise, she would call the polices and sue me for affecting her normal off-duty hours. As a customer, I have never been treated this way. I feel that I have received severe discrimination. So I don't recommend this nice building to you if the manager continues to work at here.

My husband and I kept everything we owned in storage in this facility for the past 18 months. We had a wonderful experience, and are actually sad that we won’t get to see Bill and Jeremy anymore! They have an abundance of carts available for use and a wonderful tall garage you can pull your car or truck into for loading and unloading with ease. This place is brand new, very clean, highly organized and safe. The management and staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and so very pleasant. Highly recommend!

This review is long over due but never the less, here it is... From the very beginning when I visited the location @3725 Deerfield Rd in Riverwoods I was greeted by a friendly Property Manager, Bill. He was very professional and patient and he showed me several units. I should mention that I was already renting a space by one of your competitors down the street from Cubesmart. In all honesty, if it wasn't for Bill the Property Manager, I would still be there! I am very happy that I made the change. This facility is very clean and I feel my items I'm storing are safe. I also want to mention something important..... The other night I needed to go to my Unit quite late. When I got there, I couldn't remember what my code was! I phoned the 800 number for cubesmart and the rep was extremely pleasant and after a few security questions, she gave me the info I needed to know to get in. Thank you Cubesmart for all your help! I have only just moved in to this location of CubeSmart, but have been thoroughly impressed with the level of cleanliness, accommodation, and professionalism. From what I could see, the units and outer areas are well maintained and have easy access from the elevator; after having rented 3 different units in 3 different states, I can easily state that this is the cleanest, with a generous spotless loading/unloading zone and equally conditioned (mostly) gratis rental truck. Furthermore, Bill, the manager, indeed went above and beyond in assisting us in our tricky move. He, and his staff, mollified an always taxing situation (moving/storing). Finally, I will note that the doors to the units swing out (as opposed to rolling up), which allows for more space within; however, the width of the doorway is less than the width of the units.

This facility is extremely clean, and the staff makes it accessible and easy for anyone to use. All my questions were answered, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Friendly staff! Very clean facility and helps to load/unload indoors especially during winter. I've stored my stuff from other facilities, this particular facility is the best I've used so far.

This place is brand new and amazingly clean. Very accommodating. FANTASTIC rates. I am leaving a Life Storage unit to move in here for much less than half of what I was paying to a much cleaner environment and a lovely staff.

I recently moved from a Public Storage facility in Arlington Ht to Cubesmart. My reasons were 1. brand new clean facility 2. Temperature controlled/carpeted floors/free coffee in office/bathroom available/ & a drinking fountain, and 3. It was $20/mo less in cost. The PS facility was dirty and extremely hot on a 3rd floor unit. It was easy setting up the new account. Dave & Sam were more than accommodating . All around good experience. I highly recommend Cubesmart Riverwoods.
