Nice clean place. Fred was so helpful. I didn’t get there until twenty minutes before they closed. He showed me a couple of units and then did the paperwork and the. Helped me again at the unit to make sure I knew how to unlock it. He was probably there an hour after hours just to make sure I was taken care of properly.

I rented a storage unit from the business in Cherry Valley. The phone assistance I received was above and beyond expectations. I was in a bit of disstress from some very sad happenings in life and needed to get my Declaration of Insurance page to the Cherry Valley facility. Not realizing that each of these are franchised I stopped by one on East State Street. Needless to say the assistance that I received there also was more than helpful and above and beyond. I had never rented a storage unit before but if I were to again I would highly recommend CubeSmart! Very polite, friendly, caring and thorough!

The storage unit facility and campus was especially clean and neat. It has very good security with gated access (a code is needed to get in) and security cameras. The lockers are clean and in fabulous shape (they are new or near new). The locks on the doors are a little tricky to figure out at first but once I got the jist of it, they are easy to operate. The gals in the office are very knowlegable and helpful.

I had a unique situation where I had to cancel rental i prepaid less than 24 hours earlier. The manager was very sensitive, and polite and informed me that it may be too late to get a refund, but she would do what she could. I returned home and in less than an hour i got a reasonable portion of my payment credited to me. This is a very positive resolution, and well handled by that manager. We both communicated politely and I really appreciated the manner in which i was treated. Thank you!

Units are clean an easily acceptable yet gated to provide some security. Impressed that the day after I moved out I received a phone call asking if I was done using the unit because she noticed the locks were gone and the unit was empty. It would be nice though, since I have paid for the full month, if it is rented you would provide a refund for the double renting.

The website consistently malfunctions. The call center got the date wrong and my reservation was cancelled because I showed up a day later. The call center recorded my phone number incorrectly so the local location was unable to contact me and cancelled my reservation. The manager at the local location, Vandiver Rd Rockford, was great and fixed everything.

I loved how kind and sweet Vicki was from start to finish. It is spring break so I had my two elementary aged kids and my toddler. Not once did Vicki complain about their energy level. Setting up a reservation online was easy. And when I arrived at the office to finish the process Vicki explained how everything works. I appreciate that this storage unit does month to month based on the start day in the month.

This was by far the best storage experience I've ever had! Easy to find, quiet location, super clean, fairly priced and the managers were helpful and friendly. Mrs. Cooksey was super! She made us feel like family and addressed each of our needs/questions. I wouldn't recommend any other storage company other than CubeSmart. I was so pleased and impressed that when I moved to my new state, I rented a CubeSmart here too.
