These ratings are bogus. They may have two decent staff members now but the fact of the matter is is I have had a storage unit here for less than 2 years and my unit broken into twice. my unit was tossed around once, without anything stolen. I was advised by CubeSmart only after I asked about it, that there has been break ins and people jumping over the tops of the units to steal stuff out of them. I’ve since arrived to find the code and garage door broken “out of order” and wide open - which they are currently - bc again there were break ins. Now this morning I was called in to find out the lock was off my unit…. And every tote/ box I had in it was stollen. Save yourself the money, the disappointment and the loss, and get one at a different location. I can’t even tell you how many “sub” employees that were temp working at this location that told me this location was a disaster and that they would move their stuff elsewhere if it were them. I lost so much stuff that would have been worth nothing to someone else but it meant so much to me. I am devastated.

They can not seem to hang on to staff, their pipes leak into the lockers, and they hike their rates at their convenience. I have been hit twice in less than six months by added fees. I would look elsewhere.

Nasty facility full of cockroaches and insurance refuses to do anything about my stuff. I'm talking multiples crawling all over in hallways as the lights come on. Now I have to spend money out of my pocket to replace or treat everything I had right before Christmas! All of my Christmas decorations are ruined. Don't store here unless you wanna pay to have your stuff broken into and full of bugs!

I was very disappointed that I was not informed when I reserved the cube online that I was required to provide insurance on the unit. This was NEVER STATED ANYWHERE, and the manager even agreed with me that it is not right, as others have had the same experience. In addition, it never stated that I was required to provide a lock for the unit either. I am going to ask for the $12 insurance to be deducted off my next month's rent due to this irresponsibility of the website to leave that little bit of information off the charges. I could have provided my renters insurance if given the notice prior to my check-in.

I rented a Uhaul for no reason because I got to the storage unit and the elevator was locked for Nee Years Eve and Nee Years Day so I had to recent a uhaul again and NEITHER number I called had an answering service. Heather's customer service was exceptional the day I was moving in. After having my day start stressful and dealing with a different storage facility with less than par customer service, she made my reservation and move in go smooth and she did it all with a smile on her face.

When we first moved in, everything was fine. Phone calls were answered, voicemails were given a call back. Then, the app wouldn't work. I couldn't set up my account on it. Then the facility got broken into. New management took over and it all went downhill. The increases in rent went up TWICE in the less the time I had a unit. Phone calls never got answered or phone calls back. People are living inside the building. We went the one day, and there were people walking around that had NOTHING in their hands to load or unload. But they propped the back door open while they had their cigarette, and then walked right back in. A phone call was made to the office, as it is VERY ILLEGAL to let people live in the units. You have NO IDEA what could happen. They could steal, the could bring bugs, etc. The manager doesn't seem to like the customer service part of her job, which is a major part of what she does. I was so disappointed and in shock to see people just doing laps in the facility on a Sunday. Needless to say, we moved our unit to a new location and couldn't be happier about the decision. Cube Smart on North Main needs to step up their game by a lot to be where some of these other facilities are. I don't care what part of town you're on, you are responsible for keeping people's belongings safe and they are definitely not doing that. Take some pride in what you do, or find a new job. Oh yes, and they don't clean. The hallways have the same garbage sitting on the floors for the last month. Bathrooms are sooooo nasty. And after reading reviews, I know how I came across a roach in my home!!! Yuck. Again, take some pride.

The unit I rented was climate controlled, very safe, well maintained and the staff has always been great. My complaint is with the website and Cube Smart pricing. (Not a local issue) From the time I rented in November until I closed it out, the price was raised twice. Additionally, when I tried to use their website to change payment method, it threw me out, even though I had an account. Then my user name and password wouldn't work. Would not use again because of corporate issues.

Juan is very rude and disrespectful and unprofessional. I had talked to him on a number of occasions and he is not pleasant at all. Now on the other hand Phyllis is wonderful to work with. Just a heads up they do not take your money when offered to make a payment if your a couple bucks short. If you are a month behind they fee you so bad that they make it hard to pay to keep up. Then they deny payments and They sell all your belongings and lie to you straight to your face. I would not recommend this facility to anyone and beware of your belongings. This facility is over rated and they sell your stuff even when you want to pay them. They are just pathetic and they are thieves and your whole life could be gone with in a day. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE.

Juan was very helpful. When I came to sign all the paperwork, he told me everything I needed to know and how to get the door open and how to get around everywhere in the building. The storage I originally got was smaller then I expected. Juan was very nice and helpful and showed me the next available size up. I would definitely recommend!

Juan Campos was incredibly helpful! Moving can be really stressful, but Juan made sure that we were taken care of, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. He checked in on us periodically to see if we were doing okay, and if there was anything we needed from him. Great guy! Super impressed with the professionalism at this location. Just rented self storage at CubeSmart and I was overly impressed with the high quality of service I received. It started with my first phone call inquiring about available units. Phyllis got back to me with in a couple of hours and provided me with the on-line discount. When I went over the following week to sign paperwork, Juile was the manager on duty. She was awesome. Totally took the time to show me the storage center, how to use the keypad and loading dock and then showed me again where my unit was! Amazing customer service!

I can't bring myself to give CubeSmart one star simply because they did fulfill their obligation on some level. My items were stored in a relatively safe location. I had access to my items. And most important, I had an easy place to put things that I didn't want to get rid of, but couldn't quite find space for in my house. Unfortunately, CubeSmart did not satisfy my requirements for being a patron of one's service simply due to their lack of perspective from a consumer standpoint. When I searched online for affordable places to rent storage space from, CubeSmart appeared to offer competitive prices. As an web designer and online marketing advisor, I will admit that the ability to sign up and manage my account online was attractive to me. As a busy person, any extra tool that utilizes technology to save time and simplify things, is much appreciated. In order to initiate my rental, I was asked to come into the office and provide my billing information. I was greeted promptly and given a tour. My trouble started when I received notification from a CubeSmart staff that my bill was past due. Although it was never directly explained to me, I have now gathered that automatic payment is a service that one needs to opt-in to beforehand. You also need to provide your billing information a second time. The default billing arrangement is a manual deposit using either a credit card or cash. I was told that I could opt-in to the automatic billing service through a link that would be sent via email. In my limited free time while at my desk, I was unable to properly give CubeSmart my billing information (for the second time since I initially registered) due to an error related to the website. I am responsible as a consumer for making sure that I understand the fine print in a lease before signing it. I am responsible for making time around my other obligations to manage my finances and ensure that my personal obligations are being fulfilled. I would never waive responsiblity from a disagreement with a company because of a set of terms that I agreed to. The main reason for my discontent with CubeSmart is their approach to customer service. As a long-term family business employee and now a sole-proprietor myself, I always try to calibrate my effort towards providing quality service to the customer. I appreciate every time an individual chooses to spend their money on my services over another. I strive to produce work that exceeds one's need for quality. I could never see myself arguing over fine print in a contract and demanding late fees because of a misunderstanding. I see value more value in a happy, long-term customer than I see in some quick cash from a fee. As an online marketing consultant, I see the value of spreading my experience with CubeSmart in a forum such as Google Places for Business. It pains me to give such a negative review because I know the damage that it could produce. I'm not writing this because I intend to save a few people a headache by avoiding CubeSmart. I see feedback as very valuable to a business. I hope reviews like this can help shape this location into a better managed CubeSmart location.

I have just recently moved to Florida, and decided to leave a good portion of my belongings at CubeSmart for the next few months, until I know where my permanent base is going to be. I've rented a unit at this same location in the past and decided to use them once again. Both Brian and Shane are very accommodating. It's nice to have some piece of mind, as it pertains to the way the facility is designed. It's a temperature controlled facility, with an elevator for the second floor, and flat bed carts to move one's stuff. They have many different sized units and have a docking situation to where a moving truck can be flush with the outer curb of the building. This makes for an easy in, easy out situation. My only recommendation would be to increase the number of carts, as the weekends or week nights can be a little busy and some times there aren't enough available.
