Extremely easy to set up. The staff is friendly and the location is very well kept. I really would highly recommend Cube Smart. The code was emailed to me. Once I entered the location there was a bag in the unit with a lock and keys. I didn’t even have to go out to purchase a lock which was great. I am glad I made this choice. Thank you!

This location is beyond awful. There is no one ever there. Kathy keeps lying that she is there all the time, walking the storage area. I have been multiple times across the last month and there is no one in the office during normal operational hours. CubeSmart offers to make a payment minus the online fee in the office but how can one do that is there is no one in the office? I would not recommend this location to anyone. Stay far away

pretty decent, aside from the required insurance at a minimum of $12 added per month if you don't have your own property or homeowner/renter insurance and the $18 lock fee if you don't show them you have your own. i would highly suggest getting everything set up in office and avoid being charged $50+ without a breakdown with your first month free

This place is a bunch of thugs! I had my car recently stolen and I now live out of state of my unit. I told Catalina about my situation and scheduled to change to a cheaper/smaller unit that I could afford since of my circumstances. Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the appointment since I was dealing with the stolen car situation which ran late, so I could no longer switch units while I was in town and I am trying to pay the month of September (which is late) but I told them October payment would be late. They said they would not take payment unless it was full and WILL NOW CHARGE 110 FEE LIEN UNLESS I GIVE THEM FULL PAYMENT. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE BILL IS LITERALLY DUE TODAY. THEY'RE BASICALLY THUGS HOLDNG YOU AT GUN POINT SAYING PAY UP OR GET LOST

I was pressured to leave a 5 star review when I met the new managers. I now regret that. The facility is clean and well maintained. However, I got stuck in the elevator on the first day I tried to move in. Even the firemen who eventually got me out of the elevator were annoyed with the manager (who became a bit unhinged). Two days later, the elevator is still out-of-order. They offered me a truck to move-in. After one follow-up phone call to say they would notify me when it’s available, I have heard nothing since then. The $25/month discount price is only good for 4 months. To maintain the discount rate, you need to pay for a year in advance. The manager kept pressuring me to pay in advance, right after I was freed from their broken-down elevator. I did not find that appropriate. All told, it’s a decent place. I’m just not as impressed with the new management.

Rent goes up significantly every year. I'm now paying over $100 more per month than a new customer would for the same unit. Awful website, too; won't even allow autopay from a credit card. No lights in units, and they have the outlets locked up now. Avoid CubeSmart.

This CubeSmart location is conveniently just off the Elgin-O'Hare on Irving Park. The facility is clean and we'll maintained. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. My second-floor unit was convenient ly serviced by a nearby freight elevator. I would have kept it longer but for the frequent and sizable price increases.

This storage facility was just what I needed for a couple years. I had moved from a larger home to a corporate apartment until I could find my permanent home. The people that run this facility are very nice. You get a good storage space for the money. They are professional and when a mistake occurred they rectified it immediately.i just picked up everything today and the woman in the office ( Jennifer, I think) got up from behind the desk and opened the door for me before I was all the way up the stairs. She was pleasant and helped me close the account right away. She just needed to check that I had removed everything. This place is convenient, kept clean, has great hours and a wonderful staff. I have been renting here for 6 months and it was great. The old manager I would talk to was very nice and helpful, the location was not very busy, the storage spaces were mostly clean on move in. However, the new manager at this location left me sour. I came in with questions on a new lease sent to me through the mail due to a change in the system cubesmart was rolling out. The manager proceeded to state he did not know anything about the new system and could not answer a single question, but that I should sign the lease. I attempted to simplify my questions to get any form of answer but instead of doing the correct thing of looking up the answer or referring me to someone more qualified he got very defensive and proceeded to cut me off every single sentence with contradictory statements, raised his voice, gave no more information at all, and finally flat out ignored me until I left. The deals are decent the space is fine but literally every storage space is competing in those prospects. The only thing that makes them different is things like customer service and policy. The customer service was terrible so I'm taking my money somewhere else and I recommend you do too.

I appreciated the suggestion to lay out my contents at home and measure to determine size needed (I would have guessed wrong). In one of the units we rented, our boxes got dusty as a result of some concrete repairs. Lesson learned is to cover contents with a plastic tarp/painter sheet. I would be a repeat customer.

I was impressed with Deitra's knowledge of not only the Schaumburg facility where I rented a unit but also other facilities in the area! She is friendly as can be. The only issue I had was the website showing 1st month rent free on certain units so when I chose a large unit which I overlooked that it didn't have the same offer. My bad! My oversight. I just honestly want to say I've never seen an employee make a customer so happy in my entire life like Stephanie in the past two times total of two years i've rented from cubesmart. I only come back not for the price but the good customer service i receive. Stephanie tries to do her best to make anything and everything work for her customers.
