Amazing! So helpful, customer service is a one. Any time I’ve had a problem a quick phone call clears everything right up. Units are immaculately clean and extremely nice. The specials that they run make this place worth trying and once you have your belongings there they genuinely care for you and will take care of your stuff, if you don’t have a lock on your things which mine broke one night and I didn’t, the staff was promptly on it right behind me, placing one of the rental locks on my unit . Before I even had known what happened I returned to find my belongings stored safely behind a rental lock. The locks are super helpful as you can login online with your unit number and create an account so you and the landlord can set and reset pins on the locks through this website. A very interesting and helpful amenity. I’m grateful to have found this place when I did knows what would have happened had I had to wait until the morning to find another unit. I was able to reserve and move into my unit virtually all at 2 AM from the comfort of my home and Was able to move in later that day. The only thing that I would say it was a down for is not being able to gain access through the gate after 10pm. Overall very good experience!!

I didn’t know where to start when we needed a storage unit last minute. I was so happy to come across Hearthfire! I was able to reserve and pay for a unit in the middle of the night and use it the very next day! It was a hassle free and secure experience moving in AND moving out after we didn’t need storage any longer. I would recommend to everyone!

The entire customer service team is first cabin. On-site caretaker, Mike, keeps the grounds spotless. Units, inside and out, are clean. Ease of access is the best in the region. Fair pricing. I love Hearthfire and often recommend to people who ask about storage space in the County.

This bogus company buys up all the local storage units, and just keeps hiking the rates!! Straight price gouging! Almost double what I signed up for and I love how the same size unit I have is being advertised for significantly less than what I paid orginally and currently, I was paying $95 two years ago? Now its, $150?! How are u going to advertise my unit for less than you charge a consistent customer?! Save yourself the headache they will come for your money at every angle possible!

Conditioned Units are very clean, dry and up kept. Negatives is very expensive, and rent keeps going up. If your traveling from a far, be aware you may arrive to a gate that won't open and be told, try again in another day or two. Overpriced and no-one who will come out when you try to get to your personal property and their gate isn't working. Found a unit only 20 min. away same size easy to access and $50 cheaper.

Their facility is well maintained & the spaces are very nice. The one small problem I personally have had is calling in to a person for my area, to pay my bill or report a problem. Other than that it's a decent storage place with indoor and outdoor spaces.

Only 4 Stars because you don't actually have 24/hr Access. Otherwise Fair price, good moving in special. Did everything from my phone but there is also a kiosk on site. Very clean, a few potholes but nothing serious.

I had some household items from family members stored at Hearthfire for about a year. We didn't experience any problems at this storage place. The units were clean upon move in. The entire property is very clean. Plenty of space to drive a trailer through. Easy to access my unit anytime. Friendly staff that addresses any questions or concerns that I have. Auto pay monthly is nice! Update 3/30/31: Just got moved out of 2 of these units. No issues at all. Was able to do it via text message, then manager called and double checked that we were all moved out. He then closed the account. Simple, like it should be! I would definitely use Hearthfire Self Storage again in the future, if needed! Thank you, Hearthfire!

We have a couple units with them. One 10x10 unit accessible from the outside and one 10X20 climate controlled unit. The overhead door to the climate controlled unit came off of the side bracket (due to me accidentally slamming the door up one visit) and had to be fixed. When we called, Mike was really pleasant to work with and was very professional throughout the whole thing. After coming out and diagnosing the actual problem he quickly figured out it was a job for the pros and called in an overhead door company to get it done. The service and experience could not have been any better! We will continue working with them for as long as they are in business. Great company!

What a breath of fresh air. The new owners are WONDERFUL and on top of everything. Very personable and respond to emails quickly. We had things stored while living overseas and the units are dry and kept our things safe. I am glad about the change of ownership because despite the quality of the units, the old owner was HORRIBLE! Rude, crabby, mean—you name it. If you read through the negative comments from when it was under another name, those were from the previous owner. The new owners have their act together, which the other one did not.

BUYER BEWARE! Owner is very rude, gave him my credit card which carries a zero balance at the end of each month. Still locked me out (he must’ve just entered me for a one time payment I’m guessing) called to speak with him and he was unable to help until the next day. I am a business owner and keep inventory in my unit so I needed in. Called him the next day and proceeds to yell at m and say he’s not arguing and charges me a late fee and whatever else. Not to mention the pad lock that I bought from his kiosk opened my neighbor storage unit as well!!! (I forgot which unit number was mine, either 066 or 065 but the key opened both!! Stay away from this poorly ran business!

I had every hope of giving a better rating. However after storing my RV here for one week it was broken in to and trashed. One of the windows was broken out and the walls were ripped and cut. The RV is currently in the repair shop. I was surprised because security is touted as a selling point. Today I received an email with next months rent invoice. I hope to find another facility who has a better security model by the time the RV's repairs are completed. UPDATE: I canceled my storage agreement with this facility. The owner asked when I moved out and refunded my rental fees for the time the RV was moved to the repair center. In addition he told me they are working to install additional security cameras.

I needed a climate controlled unit with 24 hour access. I was able to rent same day as move in. We had a slight technical glitch (machine gave us 2 locks) which was handled quickly. I am moving out soon and had a couple questions, both were answered within an hour. Excellent service, and unit was very clean. I highly recommend this facility.

I love that this facility is brand new-found very clean, my code always works at gate with no problems, I have 24 HR gate access for$6 extra a month. The self service kiosk is fast and easy for making payments. There is also online pay, prepay, n auto deduct from debit cards.

Since day 1, Bruce has been such a big help. He is wonderful to work with. I actually had my stuff in another storage unit with another company and when they opened up this one in Plymouth I was very interested due to the lighting and the gate. I really feel like my stuff is secure. If you are ever looking to store anything, you have to look here!!!

(DISCOUNT STORAGE) To all considering getting a storage here. I was charged an extra $45 for not having a lock on my unit. I got no notification about this situation even though he claims mail was sent out which I did not receive. I do not recommend this storage facility. The manager Bruce is very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I now understand why friends and family told me not to go through discount storage because they will screw you over any chance they get. They are all about money. Not concerned about customer satisfaction or communicating professionally. I will make sure Bruce Manring's name is known and none of my friends, family, or fellow employees go through this storage facility. I'll make sure they know the truth about this business. I am a very unhappy customer. Please copy and paste to let all your friends and family know this truth.

THIS is truly a neighborhood storage facility. I was ACTUALLY able to talk with the OWNER AND because of that, because he listened, we were able to rent a spot that was REALLY convenient to load/unload. THIS location is TRULY climate controlled also as the ceiling in each space is completely it's "own" and NOT "shared" with the row of indoor rooms. Also, the back of the room has a great way to ensure water CAN'T seep in, so no worries that the climate controlled spaces aren't inside a shuttered super store as is the case at other climate controlled storage facilities. The owner has taken great pains to keep one's possession safe as well as one's person --- excellent camera placement! Also appreciated is giving customers 24 hour access -- excellent idea and well - worth the extra money --9 bucks, I think. Thanks so much for bringing sanity to our move!

Very happy with the ease of rental on such short notice. The 24 hour kiosk and optional 24 hour access made renting a unit and moving items into it so convenient! The property is very clean and well maintained. Bruce was very helpful and quickly resolved a tiny issue that I did have with purchasing a lock at their kiosk.

I love having a storage unit there, it is very clean and well taken care of. The security is awesome, it has a lot of lighting at night and security cameras. The owner is a great person and very helpful. We feel that our unit is as safe as it could possibly be. I love the kiosk you can pay your storage bill or rent one from there which is very convenient.

So I'm moving tomorrow and waited till the last minute and found a storage place open 24 hours. Great right?! So I rent a storage space and we packed up 2 trucks and a car and go there and the gate wouldn't open. Then I get a phone call from the owner. At this time is a little after midnight. He tells me "so you do want the late night? I said I only need to get in right now. And he says well that's not how this works. I don't see how he gets business talking to his customers so rudely. After that second month I'm gone. Not to mention he sends text messages asking questions. How unprofessional from a business. Wouldn't recommend unless your in desperate need.

EDIT (06/01/2022) I just closed out my storage after five years as a customer. I found the process by which this was done very easy. The new property manager (Mike) was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this storage company fully! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am a repeat customer of Discount Storage now and this was largely because of the good value and superior customer service. Despite the automated entry, the owner is always there to support and help you no matter what the need. I wholeheartedly recommend this service!

I have rented a unit on two different occasions. Both times were great. I loved just stopping by and renting space same day. Even bought a lock in the handy kiosk. Some one is always just a phone call away if not on site. Security gate, and cameras. They even have climate control storage now.

Informed owner that could not get into storage due to ice, i pay extra to have 24 hr access..owner tells me that it is not his problem and does nothing....this is the problem with america...all anyone cares about is the money......wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy....
