We had a great experience with Tracy. We live out of town and was in Wichita there on business so our time was limited. We needed to get into our stoarage but lost our keys to our lock and needed it cut off. When we arrived at the office, Tracy greeted us very politely and very professional. She walked us down to our unit where she cut the lock off and replaced it with a new one we purchased. We didn't have a cart to use and she could have just left but instead she tried to locate one for us. She went above her duty to help us. Before leaving, she politely asked if there was anything else she could help us with. I find it very refreshing to encounter a person like Tracy, who is very friendly and willing to help with a with a smile on her face. Tracy keep up the good work. The world needs more people like you. Look forward to seeing you on our next visit.

Pleasant experience with the facility located at 21st and Amidon. One thing I didn't like is that when I obtained a second unit, they charged me for renter's insurance even though i had insurance for my other unit. I was told they "couldn't find the proof from my first unit" to transfer to the new unit. I provided proof for the second time within 2 hours or less of opening my second unit and they never refunded the charge. Was disappointing.

I have been renting with them for going on 4months and I am pleased with their services. Not only do they go above and beyond to see that you get exactly what is needed it is more affordable than the others would say that they are. I was attempting to switch just because of accommodation for September but the other storage place "Great Plains Self Storage" overcharged me 11days and and is still attempting to charge me after I moved. Cubesmart on W. 21st street also known as affordable Family storage not only care about your personal belongings but your personal well-being. I' d like to say thank you to Tracy she has been a sweet peach in the sour patch of my dealings. I will continue my service here and recommend them as well.

Out of all the storage experiences I've had in my life, this was by far the most pleasant. I was met with warm and efficient customer service, I was able to access my unit moments after signing the agreement, and the facility is very clean and well-lit. So just for the record, I used to work at a different storage unit facility, so I know how things are supposed to be done and let me tell you how absolutely happy and satisfied I was with Tasha. She's knowledgeable, professional, takes her time and doesn't rush you through the process. This is a pretty decent sized facility and having the carts available is super convenient. It was clean and easily accessible. 10/10 I would recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke. The store manager is also incredibly rude. She told me if I so as leave a pillow or paper (anything for that matter) she would add a charge of $100 to my payment because it’s not her job to pick up anything, not even tiny things. She pointed outside to a small pillow someone forgot and told me not to be like “them”. I was also told if I moved out in the middle of the month my payment could be pro rated since I was no long using the storage unit, so I did, left the place spotless clean and they still refused to give me back my money, basically I paid for a service I was no longer using for half a month. I called to let them know of this issue and they said they had no managers to help, then magically changed their minds and transferred me to a manager who said she needed to talk to the store manger to get “their side” and has not called me back to settle this issue. This was over a week ago. Save your time and money and go somewhere where you’ll at least be treated decent.

Good customer service. The storage area is aways clean and is safe and secure, even though they seem to be doing some remodeling, which is honestly a good sign. They have sensible rules and regulations that they appear to uphold very seriously. Which, in my experience, is better than many of the storage facilities I've used/been to before. (There's nothing worse than stepping over a pile of food trash, covered in rats and roaches, when bumping into the meth cook who lives in the storage closet next to where you store your mom's antique china). Bottom line: nice people, clean, climate controlled storage, in a secured location.

I love this place for my storage needs. The office manager is very nice, and helps with anything within reason! I had to move to a smaller unit, and Natasha actually gave me 4 days to move. I was very thankful for this act of kindness! I would recommend this place to my friends and family! The units are big and very spacious. UPDATE 10/27/2020: Since you decided to give a very corporate generic lie for a response. I have two quotes here that are much lower and closer to my original rent. Raising them because you can is what you really did. Because nothing changed. You got greedy. Raising above 20% from where it was is just a joke and super sketch. Cant wait to get out of there. Dont wear a mask man. UPDATE 7/30/2020: Been in here roughly 6 months. Just got an email saying they are raising my rent from 115 to 149 and i have 2 units. F this place. They are using the virus to extort more money from people that dont have much choice. Either I get all my s out or get fd on the price. Do not rent here. Do. Not. It is a decent place. Im parking my stuff here till i get a house for it all. Not crazy expensive. Not dirt cheap either tho. Climate control.

affordable family storage is a great place to store your things high surveillance good security and great quality service as well as the staff was very nice and polite to be helpful with my needs I would recommend them to anybody else plus if you do direct deposit with payment the second month is free for storage, also if you decide to go with affordable family storage and do a review with them directly or write a review like I did they will take $15 off your 3rd month whatever your amount is, I'm very pleased with they're corporation of business

Overall good experience. The first unit we were shown was not at all what we asked for. It was very far from the nearest door and down a ramp not to mention it had a huge pole though the middle of it. Thankfully the gal that helped us was able to find a slightly larger unit on the main floor much, closer to the door. We were very pleased with this result. Only complaint is the bathrooms situation! Couldn’t use the restroom without a key, which you can only get during business hours...not a huge deal just an inconvenience when you are there unloading a moving truck for 3 hours. Facility seemed clean and secure.

As a military spouse traveling to a new location, customer service is a must. Affordable Family Storage has that and more. Mrs Sara helped me so much over the phone! Was super kind. Tiffany was amazing. She helped us pick the right size storage unit and helped us save money! Its little bit of a drive from where we chose to live, but we will keep our storage unit with them the remainder of our time here in Kansas :)

I recently started service with Affordable Family Storage almost a month ago. I noticed that the company had several advertisement for great promotions which offered a convenient payment option that new customers receive one month free when auto payment with an active credit card on file. Although the beginning process was a bit Rocky, challenging,and upsetting due to several mis understandings an employee by the name of Tiffany gave me assurance and empathize with the situation at hand and resolved it rapidly and made sure all issues were corrected to the best of her ability which made me feel like a valued customer. With her assistance and knowledge about the company she is employed for I was able to be satisfied with the arrangement put forth and I decided not to cancel and choose to relocate to a different storage unit. Tiffany did an amazing job and I'm very much so appreciative of her job well done of pure excellence and decided to stay at AFS & now a happy customer. In addition my storage unit was very neat and clean and up to par with my expectations of a storage unit with multiple accessible moving utensils for my valuable items. I'm hoping for nothing but the best in my future experiences with this storage company because when you put important expensive valuable items in the care of a storage facility you want to be comfortable and feel like you made the overall right decision.
