I recently had a terrible experience with this storage facility. The gate to the property is constantly broken, making it easy for unauthorized individuals to enter. To make matters worse, poor security system. My unit was broken into, and the management was unhelpful and dismissive when I reported the incident. I would not recommend this storage facility to anyone who values their belongings or needs reliable security.

My stuff is there and front gate is broke so it never closes doors from exterior are open and don't close very poor maintenance and someone got in and jumped over the top of units and broke a bunch of stuff when I informed them they said that has nothing to do with them smh

MIL rents a unit there. She called me because someone had broken in. Person clearly climbed from unit to unit as they are all open across the tops. Side gate with keypad was open the whole time we were there, a keypad box had been pried and another box had a wire cut inside, a gate on the other side had a chain with an open lock through it, a unit inside had been cut into. 2 other renters arrived and both of their units had also been robbed/damaged from over the top. One woman said that management specifically told her that they have cameras across the top to catch anyone who might attempt that. No after hours number to reach owner or security. Not sure how this person or people were able to go through all of these units, taking time to open all of those bags and boxes, without being seen by management or whomever is reviewing the cameras. Also, clear that unhoused individuals have been hanging around the entry alcoves (food, drinks, clothing).

Went to rent a unit based on a friend's recommendation. The Manager, Abby, seemed clueless and couldn't answer what I found to be basic questions. I immediately left and went somewhere else in town. Not sure why my friend recommended them.

Do yourself, and, your possible grieving family, a favor and do NOT rent a unit from this company. They are now harassing my fiancé for a late payment for a storage unit that was his deceased mother’s unit. He was listed as an EMERGENCY CONTACT, and before you wonder, no, he never signed ANY contract. I called yesterday hoping to resolve this issue, as we had told the company that she was deceased and yet, we received yet another letter in the mail. The GM, of all people, was highly critical of our situation and very inconsiderate. So before you decide to pick this storage company, who harasses grieving families…within days of the first year reunion, don’t. Pick literally any other place else, ANY. OTHER. PLACE.

This is a good storage place. The units are easy to get to but the price is kinda on the high side. The rent went up a couple of months after I rented my unit and then they were bought out by this new company and prices went up again. I have had a few problems with the auto pay. It keeps unenrolling me from this service and has resulted in a few late charges.

Way too expensive, By the time you pay their $60 a month plus their insurance you can’t have any other insurance it cost around $70 a month for a 4 x 8. That’s not much room.

this is overall a decent facility HOWEVER!! we storaged 90% of our things due to moving and we moved out today and found 3 COCKROACHES. 2 were in the hallway of the facility and one in a box as we were unpacking. we did NOT have roaches before putting our things in this facility!!!!!

Long term customers beware, had to move to increasing larger units to accommodate belongings. With each change came a price hike plus the hike every few months...The last move was because of a water leaking in the unit this happened twice..so the olny unit left was the biggest they had...each price hike was 20 dollars... this last one was $36 dollars. Save your money , rent short term by stay away from these guys. By the way, my bank statements and the office records don't agree.

I started out at some introductory price, immediately jumped to $75, $95 and now $112. (weird, random amount) I don't use anymore space. The unit isn't any warmer or cooler. The Access gate at the Meridian location is usually broken and open. I guess as a storage unit, it serves it's purpose. I just don't understand why the price has to increase every year.

Great place to keep your storage. Never had any problems. Staff is nice and very understanding. Only downside is that the price of rent went up $10.00 since we first started renting in March. They gave a good notice of the increase of price! Would recommend to anyone though, especially if you have items that you don’t want destroyed.

AVOID THESE UNITS! The receptionist is extremely rude even when we first got the unit! (red flag should have definitely just went elsewhere) They had an issue on their end (was told multiple different things like their system needed updated or they needed to manual reset my code) So I was unable to access my belongings for 3 days. The reception was first telling me there was nothing she could do almost refusing giving me Corp phone number. I was able to get ahold of Sarah who told me $6 would be the credit she could give me. I did have to go out and buy art supplies that I had in my storage unit just so my daughter could do her assignment. $6 was no where near what I had to spend to REPURCHASE Things I had In my unit. Oh they do have an after hours number you can text… I did that they told me everything should be fine and go up there at 10am the next day.. but because I worked I was unable to make it on their Business hours. This place is extremely unprofessional. And YES I Was rude when I went in because she had an attitude acting like it wasn’t her issue. Definitely not willing to help!

Tiffany was absolutely amazing to work with. We first went there to just view a unit. Tiffany was so accommodating and made us feel right at home. We left there with the intention of viewing a couple different places but by the time we got home we were so impressed with her customer service we decided to rent the unit. We called back the next day and told her we wanted to move in at the end of the month. A few weeks later we decided we needed the unit before that time and we popped in on Tiffany on a Thursday and she was more than willing to help us out. Even though she had another appointment she was able to squeeze us in and get us situated with the rental of the unit!! I will absolutely refer all my friends there for their storage needs!!!

Good customer service. Fixed issues from customer service when I needed to sign up by phone. There was lots of miscommunication but it was handled smoothly and Jess Rexroad did her best to get me the unit in a timely manner given the short notice. The property manager has excellent customer service skills and after speaking with her, I am a satisfied tenant of my belongings.

I called in to see about my due date and then I was interrupted by an important call I had to take so I had to end the call quickly, The customer service representative I was on the phone with Tiffany sent me a text with a picture of my bill and when it was due. My unit price went up by almost 15.00 dollars waiting on the email where I was sent saying the amount would go up as of January 2021 not even a year there and the price goes up from 163.00 to 172.00 wow four months later and the rent goes up I wonder how often they raise the rent?

Friendly and helpful staff. My belongings were safe after 6 months of storage, unlike U-Haul on 13th Street that accidentally deleted my account after the first month, and would do nothing about a missing computer tower stolen out of my unit. U-Haul wouldn't even View surveillance video since it was within two months.

Moving out of my home, I hadn't planned on needing a storage unit.... but last minute, I did! Multitasking by loading furniture and searching for an affordable storage facility (unplanned expense), I found Affordable Family Storage. At the time, there was a current move-in special so I was able to lock in my unit, pay the costs online, and while submitting payment, Tiffany called. I explained my time constraints (U-haul rental) and the need to get in right away, she assured me everything would be ready to go once I arrived, emailed the contract and upon arrival she had the contract signed on her behalf and my copy printed. The only thing left for me to do was purchase a lock, which she charged my card while I hurriedly unloaded and attempted to bring the lock to me, but another customer walked in. You'd expect this place to be expensive from the looks of it, but it isn't. The customer service I was provided by Tiffany, no one in Wichita can beat! I 1000% recommend this facility for any storage needs.
