They helped me and my wife with every question we had, demonstrating excellent communication skills. We’re moving from Houma, and have plans to rent a space with this storage facility. The storage grounds are kept up really nice. I only gave one stars because my initial sign up, the young lady in the office had a bad attitude and seemed as though she didn't want to be bother. The AC doesn't work it blows warm air, so the climate control units are hot, my storage unit was burglarized 2 weeks after signing up. Police report was done & I was informed that over a dozen break ins were reported within a month. I was told possibly an inside job. Reported to Manager who seemed to didn't care. I'm sure other tenants have had a positive experience, I'm just sharing mine.

I would give zero stars if I could. Beware that property isn't secured with a front gate because it has been broken for months with no information about the issue or repairing it ever shared. Anyone can drive in at any time. Is the gate fixed now? I don't know because I've called dozens of times and left multiple messages asking for a call back but have never received one. I understand that things happen and it takes time to repair them, my issue is with the complete lack of communication about the issue. I tried again to call and cancel my account but had to leave a message and ultimately had to call the customer service number to cancel my account. The store manager could have kept a customer with the smallest courtesy of returning a call.

Not Customer Friendly. Would not open gate so I could safely park truck and trailer while completing the paperwork for a new lease. I had reserved unit on line, but canceled when I had to back up my truck and trailer into traffic because they wouldn't open the gate before paperwork work was done. Then on another trip to empty my brother's unit, as he also canceled his, a guy who was in his unit, but parked in a way that blocked access to my brother's unit, became unhinged when asked to move his truck to give us access to my brother's unit. Had to call JPSO as he refused to move and threatened both my brother and myself just for asking him to do so.

Helped me very much so upon retaining my unit however failed to disclose that at any point in time the monthly cost of my unit can rise if they chose to do so. Came in to pay my unit and found out my monthly premium had went up with no warning from the company. The general manager was well aware of this and told me it could happen anytime but had nothing to say when I told him they should disclose that information when someone comes to seek information or purchase a unit. It's just very unprofessional not to.

First, Corrie, the manager, is outstanding. CubeSmart as a company will nickel and dime you forever.. Make sure you know your dates. It is not a 30 day rental. You have to pay an extra fee in order to pay them. You have to click agreement to their privacy policy. Good luck trying to find it and don't expect it to be clear and simple. You don't need to get insurance from them if your homeowner's insurance has a contents clause that covers offsite. The measurements are not exact. You can't put a 5 foot object into a 5 foot locker. It seems to be impossible to get two answers the same to a question from the customer service people. Wish there was an alternative.

Dee is excellent! She went above and beyond! I get off of work in New Orleans at five and Cube Smart office closes at six. I arrived at 5:50 which was not enough time to show the unit. She even had a dinner date with her dad that she canceled so she could show me and get me into the unit. We talked for a good long time despite it being so late. Most managers would try to get you out and rush you out. Not Dee. She really understands the true meaning of excellent customer service! I would recommend this particular location to anyone! My experience with Avondale Self Storage was absolutely all positive. The staff is straight up friendly and professional. The place is super clean and secure. I have been with them for two years and have no complaints at all , they let you know if something is wrong or out of the ordinary , they ask any questions you have fast. And they are very secure and good at there location , highly recommend them.
