I rented a truck from Penske to pick up here at cube smart so that I could move across country. We were told the truck would be ready any time after 10:30 AM, we arrived at 11:45 to find the front office closed. After calling around to find a number where someone could get us answers we finally find out the woman who works in the office won’t be back until after 12:30. So we waited. Then the internet in the building went down. Because no one was in the building when we went to get the truck we have been behind on our entire move by several hours. This could have been avoided with either better communication or by people being where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there.

If I could sue them I would 100% And I still might contact a lawyer at this point This is costing me a couple thousand dollars minimum ?? and now I have to rent a 2nd U-Haul to move the stuff to the dump I'm livid I rented a unit for 2 months and when I moved my stuff yesterday it was COVERED in Rat/mice dropping everywhere ?? I had to buy a steam cleaner to try and salvage my $2k couch because it smells like urine Not to mention throwing away items that had to much rat droppings and was chewed up! Turned a stressful move into a mess and I'm having to wash everything that was in storage Finally unpacking and that's my trash pile so far that I have to trash because of nest and destroyed items And thought I was done but NOPE because they are also in my dressers full of clothes This is now costing me thousands of dollars And cube smart called and said I'm so sorry we will refund you last months rent which still hasn't showed up on my account Thanks for the $73 refund (I haven't received) doesn't even pay for the steam cleaner to salvage my couch Literally a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff destroyed

This is absolutely the worst place ever. My sister has a stroke and they were beyond rude with her. Not understanding and obviously can care less about their customers. She tried to make partial payment to keep her things from being auctioned. They refused. She then tried to pay over the phone. They refused. Like seriously, someone suffers a stroke and almost loses their life and you can’t take a payment over the phone for them. Hell she can’t even walk 10ft but you want her to come to your office to pay a bill that can easily be accepted over the phone!! People don’t want hand outs but at least be sympathetic to situations. Horrible customer service and experience!!!

Raised rates every year to point of going up almost 25 percent this year. They had a multiple breakins several years back and didnt notify anyone. I found out by reading about in paper. Ive been over there multiple times this week and gates been wide up with absolutely no security. They lost a customer being greedy.I always paid 2 weeks in advance btw. I found same size unit in Shreveport almost 50 percent of price. If you stay long term expect yearly increases.

Ladies at the facility will litterally sit behind the desk without doing any leg work and harass you bi-weekly. I was contacted about my truck being in the wrong spot & my vehicle had been at my home for 3-4 days. Stop being lazy and look into things before calling someone at work harassing them! I am extremely satisfied with my experience with CubeSmart Self Storage on E. Texas St. I needed storage pretty quick. I was able to reserve my 10x10 online and promptly received a phone call finalizing my reservation. Once on site they had everything ready for me to finish my rental. I was able to get my stuff into the storage unit within an hour of reservation. The staff there are very courteous and explained everything. You will love this place if you like paying additional fees. I had originally placed a request through the website. I received a call almost immediately after I hit submit. I was actually impressed. They confirmed the rate and I agreed to meet them to set up the rental. They NEVER mentioned the admin fee and the required insurance rider. Yeah, it's in the contract but that should be stated up front. Now, a month ( and apparently 7 days) into the rental and I get a call that I am late on payment. I am CERTAIN I agreed to auto pay on my credit card when I signed up. Now, I am out another $20 for a late fee. I don't plan to continue renting past this month.

I was asked if I needed a lock or would I provide my own without them saying a price and when I looked at my lease the one lock Was $20. Only 2 keys and nothing special about the lock. I was informed that I could not get a refund after I had paid for it even though it was still unused. Would recommend but customer service could be better in informing customers of the prices of things offered.

This is by far one of the best storage places and truck rentals in the area, I would even say the best in Shreveport/Bossier. The receptionists are so friendly and very understanding. They will answer any question that you have and will work with any issues, if any. Seriously, customer service here is AMAZING, and they prices are very reasonably cheap. Definitely beats out any competition around. I strongly recommend anyone that needs a storage unit or a moving truck to come here!

Moving is BEYOND stressful so it was nice that moving some of our stuff in storage was the easiest. Toya ensured this was a smooth transition for us and was extremely accommodating. I looked at several different places and this one was by far the cleanest. We also rented a Penske truck from here so it was extremely convenient putting our stuff in storage and dropping the truck off at the same time. Thank you so very much!

I started out with a 10' x 10' unit, graduated to a 10' x 20' unit, and now am downsizing to a 10' x 15' unit. This reflects changes in my needs and in every case I have found CubeSmart employees to be helpful, friendly, and on the spot in taking care of my needs. My last change requirement was rather abrupt in happening, but Jennifer jumped on the situation and had me set up immediately to accommodate me with no problem. If you haven't grasped it yet, I can't say enough good about how I love the people I deal with at your facility along with the superb condition of the units that are very well maintained. Thanks girls!!!

High prices on materials if you purchase those. The rent has gone up twice, I believe, since we started renting our climate controlled building. There has been a high turn over in management and some ladies who just didn't make the cut on customer service for me. Medeocre overall and wouldn't really recommend. Also, parking storage was ridiculously priced last time I checked...that may have changed; but I doubt it.

Amazing service. I’m very picky on how people handle customer service and I received very great service. Not everyone loves their job but when you act like you don’t, it really affects the customer. Jennifer was who I dealt with and she is great. Highly recommend this storage facility. They also offer Penske moving trucks which makes it easy just to leave the truck there when you’re done.

I ordered my truck online showed up at the time I was supposed to pick it up they held the paperwork ready and I was in and out in 15 minutes or less when you get done you just drop the keys in the mail slot easy

I have nothing but positive things to say about Alexus. We were traveling cross country and not sure we could arrive during working hours but Alexus stepped up and made it all work for us. She understood our time restraints and made a possible untimely situation perfect. By her going out of her way, we were able to move our stuff and stay on schedule. She definitely understand customer service and makes it a priority. Thank you Alexus for being a "perfect gem." I would recommend Cube Smart to others without a question.

The Best Customer Service! In a time where good customer service is almost non-existent, it was very refreshing to meet Ms. Alexciya. She was super nice, professional and extremely courteous. She went above and beyond to assist me with my rental, a flat tire I had on the day I was to return the truck and gave me the best customer service. I even changed my rental three times and, in the end, had to pick up the truck on the same day I called the third time. She found a car carrier for me and called me back to let me know. Everything was hooked up, parked and ready to go when I arrived. Alexciya is a great employee and employees are the face of any company. So, right now, CubeSmart is looking really good;-)

If you like your monthly rate jacked up 10-18% every 11-12 months and dealing with leaned over entry/exit pads that are hard to reach while you drive over cracked and divot laden cement - this place is for you. Believe me, there are better facilities available than this.

This has by far been the worst experience I purchased a unit on 7/15/16 never used it exactly 5days later I called the manager about a refund she contacted their corporate office and was told they could refund me via check about 60 dollars of the 120 I paid. I haven't received a check or a return phone call from a manager or anyone from the corporate office.

Made my reservation online and received a very friendly call asking if everything was ok on the reservation and if I had any questions. Later on I did have to contact the office and spoke to one of the nicest people. All my questions and concerns were answered. I recommend this business to anyone needing to use a storage company.

Moved into the area a few months. Having a need for self storage on the budgeted side, we found CubeSmart. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful when looking for the best option for you.
