Just left cubesmart and the ladies that work there are awesome. One of the best places on the Westbank. I have rented from 2 other places in the past that was horrible. I do not recommend working with this company. I rented with a CubeSmart that was bought out and turned into a Box Self Storage in Metairie. When I moved out, I noticed several items missing. When I notified the front desk, they told me the reason CubeSmart sold this property was because the manager was aware of on-going theft for 10 months and didn't do anything it. CubeSmart has a reputation of being shady, not notifying its renters if there in an on-going safety concern, and then ghosting you when you try to get in contact with them to deal with the missing items. Additionally, their locations have safety/security measures that makes it easy for theft. There's room for people to fit over the top of each unit and get in and out. Units are NOT secure if there's access to get inside.

They do not explain to you that the storage is not climate controlled. My furniture has mildewed and they will not compensate me . They won’t even let me get my personal things out of there . Why would I pay for a unit and I have lost 10,000$ worth of furniture! The storage unit is 277 the payment wasn’t an issue but If she would have said your furniture has a chance of mildewing because there’s no air or heat control I would have went somewhere else . Do not I mean do not choose CubeSmart ! The gates are broken the whole thing is just trash!

CubeSmart appeared to be clean when I moved in and than I noticed my furniture and other things were definitely destroyed by rats. I than began to move my furniture out and which I had to dispose of it because it was too damaged to keep. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with CubeSmart. Depending upon the day and time you may experience issues with maneuvering in and out of the facility due to exiting gate being broken and only one of the entrances allows you to get out of the facility. There is no place for you to put trash at this facility.

It was fast, easy and informative. I've never had a storage so Karla (manager from another store helping out) showed me different sizes and explained pricing. She had a positive attitude. She made sure to follow Covid policy by only allowing one person insidd at a time but kept checking to make sure the person waiting was ok. Would recommend. Update: I went the next morning around 11 to get a bigger size and no one was in the office. I went to my storage and their lock was still on my storage. I kept calling and left messages. I waited 40 min and had to go to a different company because the movers were finished. She called me back around 1 asking if I still need the storage. I was understandably upset. After requesting a refund I was told their policy is to email the district manager then wait for him to email back. Not Sure what was being emailed or why. I then received a call at 4 saying if I returned the lock I BOUGHT from them I can get a refund in a few hrs but if I do not then I would have to wait 2 weeks for a check in the mail. Why do I have to return my property to get my money back?! ???? Make it make sense! Currently waiting for the district manager to return my call!

I went 20 miles or more out of the way and passed by probably 50 or more storage for a low cost storage and had to put heavy things upstairs, no way to get the things upstairs except going up the stairs. Oh I don't want to forget the 3 or more suprise cards that came in the mail of the continue storage increases. I would recommend get a storage near you, instead of letting the low price pulling you in. It is a shame and I would not recommend cube storage to anyone.

I've been with them since 2015, and it's when the price was reasonable. Now they try changing you for a storage that's small and hot and your furniture gets messed up in there. An they are not reasonable for your things if it gets messed up.

Rented a unit online and went to the facility to finalize the details. Mr. Kentrell Roberts was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I came in the office today to check out some storages for my mother. When I arrived a young lady name Ciara opened the door and greeted me. I told her I was shopping around for storages but didn’t exactly know what i needed for my mom. I told her everything that my mom was putting into storage. She told me no worries as we headed to the door. Ciara showed me 3 units with no problem, it was a breeze she even showed me how to use the lift incase we decide to get the upstairs unit. She also wrote down all the prices and sizes for me to take to my mom
