SEPTEMBER 2024 UPDATE: They double-locked our storage unit (red lock) so we couldn't access it even though I have never missed a payment and had already paid for the month September. Their response? Oops. Our bad. - That's it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO STORE YOUR BELONGINGS. ------- If I could move my stuff out sooner I would. When I signed up the storage was around $180/month. My bill for January? $304. (December 2023's bill was $266.) They have ridiculous automatic price increases every year. I used to have a 2nd storage cube (non-AC). The wing it was in was hit by burglars. They charged US for new locks. Even the police officer laughed when the manager mentioned putting it on our bill. If you do choose to store your stuff here, I would avoid the outside cubes at all costs because they are not safe and CubeSmart does not care about offering any type of help, apology, or partial credit to your bill for the inconvenience. The inside (AC) units are more secure, but are they worth $304/month with rates rising another $40/month next year and then again the year after that? (It's not. lol.) ----- EDIT: I followed the (owner's copy/paste) instructions to email support. As suspected, there was NO reply or acknowledgement. All of these 5-star reviews are from people *signing up* to rent. The process for that is great! They're personable and make it seem like you're getting a great deal. (They're not going to mention the insane ongoing rental increases each year.) ... But once you have all your stuff stored and you're locked in, that's where you'll start to see what the negative reviews are talking about.

Teeka was absolutely amazing. I looked at several different climate-controlled storages, andI had made my decision. However, passing by CubeSmart on my home, I decided to pull in and check them out. Teeka was so personable, patient, and knowledgeable. And even though, they are super clean, well-lit, and well-maintained (which were the base requirements for me), Teeka was the deciding factor! I was not notified about how I can save money on renting a storage by using my homeowner insurance until after I was charged and the contract was signed. If I was told that when I first spoke with someone about renting a unit, I would have brought my declaration page in with me when I signed the contract. I didn’t realize she charge me for that until the next day when I look at my receipt. I was under the impression that I would be charge the following month if I don’t bring my insurance declaration page in before the due date or submit online

I had a 5X10 storage unit being charged for a 10X10 after CubeSmart took the place over. I went to get a few things out of my unit and ended up throwing more than half away because rats had gotten in my unit leaving droppings all over the place. I even found rats living in some of the cushions of furniture I had in there. All gone. If you can find another place I highly suggest you do so.

Stopped at the Zachary, LA hwy 19 location on 5-29-23 to pay my rent. Unfortunately Ms Cathie was faced with a phone and computer offline situation and was unable to accept my payment at first. She was dealing with customers coming in, bosses calling her personal line to see what was going on and at the same time trying to deal with the the IT technician who was working to get the phones and computer back online. Through all this commotion and stress Cathie kept her calm and showed total professionalism. I don't know what she gets paid but I am pretty sure it is not enough. Just being able to overhear the way her boss was talking to her on the phone would have made me quit! When the system came back up I was able to get my bill paid around closing time. As I was leaving I learned there were items remaining to be done before she would leave. That is dedication, people. One does not often see good help nowadays.....Cathie is good help. Kudos to Cathie!

Do not use this storage facility ever. The workers cut the lock off my storage unit and lied about mailing my key to me. They broke my items in my storage unit too. This is a shame. The district manager does not care about his workers and the customers who are violated by the employees going through their stuff.

I personally don't have a storage at this location, but I was helping someone move their things to their unit here, I have to say it was very clean, no issues with anything! And surprisingly pretty easy to get in and out of being right on the main Highway.

As a former member of the military, I have used storage facilities many times in many different places, but none were better or easier than this one. Facility is very clean and welcoming. Never had any issue getting in and out of the facility and this location seems to have more room than other similar storage locations to bring in trucks/trailers. Office manager was very accommodating, friendly, and thorough. Did not take long at all to get set up or to get it closed out upon move out. Very helpful and good experience overall.

As a military veteran, I have come under so much stress and challenges in the last few months. I have been ordered to go overseas; but due to logistics changes and my rank, I was not required to leave, but still had to perform my orders here in the states. In this event, I have had to contact Ms. Vivian and Ms. Sarah to ask them to give me extensions on my storage because I either I was going to end my contract with Cube or remain under contract: I hope my point is well taken. These two women are rare women, because they sincerely care about veterans and with compassion, accommodated me and did not put any more stress on me. I would HIGHLY recommend any veteran, serving or who formally served, who have any access household goods to consider Cube; especially Hwy 18 Cube, because the management there is superior.
