Our unit was broken into. The manager looked me in my face and said it was impossible bc the lock wasn’t completely cut. But it had the cut marks on it & was picked to get into. When I asked about cameras, I was told they didn’t have any where the units are. A joke!!!!! But you have them in other areas.

Was signing up for rental of storage unit was asked how long was i plan on rented told her at least 3 months. Told me i did not qualify for the first month free. Facility is lacking adequate carts for the size of the facility. Came to unload items into unit. Unit still had company lock on it. Had to wait to next day and leave load on truck. Came back again to off load items at unit and the keypads to get into my section were inoperable. Call number. Automated system does not have option to talk to customer service. Selected another option and got a actual person. For what good that did. Said they would put me in touch with someone that could help while they would see what they could do from their end and they would call me back. Never got that phone call that day

Horrible customer service! Rates are crazy! They are constantly increasing rates without warning! Supposed to be climate controlled, but it was always hot in there. The units aren’t the cleanest! The manager was nasty, she didn’t answer phone if she see ur phone number. She was not nice to costumers, nasty nice! Wouldn’t recommend this location, or company! Their rates are ridiculous

Not customer service friendly. Constantly going up on rent. Temperature of climate control unit was too warm. Not enough lighting to work in units. Specifically had problem with roach infestation. I immediately advised management of roach infestation the day I discovered someone moved into the unit directly across from mine (had to have been the night before or hours before my arrival). A pile of dirt and crawling roaches were found. Staff came with a can of roach spray. Staff said they had no way to contact renter and make them allow for unit inspection. Really!?!? So, I advised that I was trying to move my items out of storage by the end of the month but due to my advanced age and physical limitations I now would have to ensure debugging of my things which would extend my rental time. Unpacking and repacking my items is what I’d have to do. Didn’t want to take roaches to my recently renovated house. Asked for a minimum of one free month to get it done due to the possibility of infestation of my items. Manager never responded to my several attempts at contacting her. Stay there only as long as you absolutely need to!

The cubesmart falsely advertises the size of the units and it was a foot shorter than quoted. They also raised their prices within 4 months of moving in. I won’t be dealing with them again. I tried to talk to the management about the sizes and they said move out if you don’t like the size after I already moved in there. Tried to negotiate the % difference in size to advertised size but flat refused. Only offer was to move out if you didn’t like size of the unit. I tried looking at other units in the climate controlled area and they were all the same. All 1 foot or 15 square feet shorter out if 150 square foot quoted and advertised. 10% size difference. I couldn’t understand maybe less than 6 inches to round up to 15 feet, but not what is actually there. I had a 14-6” item I needed to place in the 15ft climate storage and only way was to put it diagonal restricting my ability to access the whole unit.

I originally started off at this place paying $109 a month by the time i left i was paying $180 a month thats a rip off ! Also they need to invest in cameras for someone to break in to 30 people storages and they know anything about is unacceptable! All i can say is thank god only 1 un important thing was missing out of my storage. Also the customer service for the people who work in the zachary location is horrible. They are rude and have no empathy for people situations. I got deployed in July 2023 and the worker said it dont matter you need to find someone to pay your stuff if not its gone be treated like every one else.

Tika and Marlon were awesome in assisting me with locating the right storage for my use. The customer service at CubeSmart was absolutely the BEST ever. All transactions were expedited right on time. Marlon and Tika went out of their way to make sure i got the due date I needed and placed a hold on the locker i wanted to make it happen! Great customer service and quick/simple process. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a clean, secured and convenient place to store your valuables then you need to go visit CubeSmart in Zachary. On top of all that you will get the best hospitality from Tika & Marlon. Before signing my lease I was able to view the unit I reserved to make sure it was what I needed. They are very knowledgeable so I received on the spot responses to my questions. By the time I left (even when I first got there) I knew my business was well appreciated. Thank you Tika & Marlon.
