Onsite manager and customer service Heather and Erica are exceptional, with a consistent smile, helpful and patient attitude and expertise in CubeSmart operations. Beyond this, the facility is well run, and offers a wide range of storage sizes. Onsite parking is convenient and two large freight elevators make it easy to access upper floors. Central Baltimore city location. Climate control throughout.

I've been renting here for a few years, plenty enough time to witness the building upgrades & improvement of customer service with the new staff. Since 2023 they've only gotten better: climate's well controlled, both elevators work well, restroom's presentable; they've seriously improved from my very first month renting! Heather is a catch & more informative than the lease itself, and Erica is so beyond patient with irritated customers that I caught myself having to apologize to her lol. Great service for a great price.

This store is truely great. I was able to sign the contract and pay online. I can see how the price is broken down in details for today (rent+ first time fees: admin fees+insurance+padlock) and the recurring charges. Everything is very clear and within my expectations. The manager is so kind as well as all the other staff. She called me about my arrival time and was there to introduce me to the facilities. There are many handy tools (cart, lifter, elevator and so on) to use for free. That makes heavy lifting and everything go so smoothly! I personally like that you can't get inside the building with out a pass code so your belongings are in a very safe environment. They also fixed the air conditioning so it's not so hot anymore. Everything is clean and organized. Even the outside.

I love this storage unit they just added energy efficient lights so it’s much brighter in there. The ladies in the office are very helpful. And also the maintenance lady. I have rented one of these unit for over a year and today is my happiest day. I finally packed up and move out of there, I’m already pretty tired of the fact that the worker is constantly absent for a break, the work schedule has days off opening at 11:00 am and it’s very hard to pay rent every month. You need to come in person to do this. I have no idea what the owner is thinking, but he needs to learn how to use the Internet and read reviews for a long time.

Had to apply the 1 star due to my experience at the Pleasant St. location. One of the elevators wasn't in service for close to 2 yrs. The floor that my unit is on had the AC out for a year or more without me being notified. THEY RECENTLY DOUBLED THE PRICE OF THE UNIT THAT I'M RENTING!!!!!! The price is great compared to other storage facilities but...the elevators are always down, the staff allows ppl to block the single entrance/exit instead of having them use the part of loading dock where steps are ( they still have access to elevator)-if its working. They could also allot a time for ppl to block that space. Once ppl start to utilize the entrance/exit space you have to back out into downtown traffic to exit. Not always the safest thing to do! CubeSmart could also have the area at the steps (near street) redone just for the purpose of loading or unloading trucks. This would allow access for everyone.

I had the pleasure of using CubeSmart for over 2 years while waiting to move into a house I found myself homeless. I had no security related issues or service complaints at Cubesmart. At the start I had my own lock and key but for extra protection I decided to choose a lock that the store offered and recommended for sale Safe to say theft was never an issue. Overall purchasing a storage unit made my life so much more easy by knowing that my valuables and personal belongings were safe. It gave me more wiggle room to move around in downtown and metropolitan Baltimore safely not being bogged down with heavy suitcases and unsightly and random bags . The staff was so kind and compassionate always willing to lend helping hands in times of need with cocerns issues or complaints and amazingly remaining 100 % perfessional at the same. I think the staff are heavenly gifted.I have to mention Sue and Randy for being memerorably outstanding people. They kept me feeling safe and protected at all times Truely decent people. I highly recommend the damp rid moisture control product that cubesmart has for sale in the front office for an extra added level of protection for your storage unit. It last for months and keeps your belongings fresh, clean and dry for just a small fee. It's well worth it. God Bless you.

I came in with my mom to look at storage units. We were undecided on which size we would need. The young lady behind the desk named Kim told us about the different size units and showed us different sizes as well. She walked us thru the whole process of renting and how much it would cost. The prices aren’t too bad at all. She was very professional. She made my mom feel very comfortable about renting as this is our first time and she’s downsizing from a three bedroom house to an apartment. I told Kim we would think on it because of the access hours and my work schedule don’t work well together. But all in all it was a great experience and probably will rent despite the hours.

They were agreeing with me while they were in my face but then tell my insurance company that they don't think that somebody broke into my storage unit. I do not recommend this storage unit

Great prices, but issues with elevators, hours and not prorated for the moveout month. Had to move out a different date due to both elevators being out of service and still had to carry everything up and down the stairs. Used an extra 7 days and charged the whole month.

Had a good experience with the staff. Joey Bowen was pretty helpful. My only complaint would be how tight the parking inside the facility is. I suggest you park on the street if you can.

Place is horrible. Elevators always down. Can’t access your stuff. Plus the parking area has poles and you can’t get a truck in to get your stuff out. Very narrow area with poles. May be cheaper but not worth it.

Company doesn't even provide employees with face masks or gloves. This is the second location I've visited without proper sanitation standards. Will not be renting with any CubeSmart anytime soon!!

UPDATE: The people here are always nice, but when I went to move my stuff out both elevators were down, no one emailed to let customers know and I even called to confirm access hours. I mentioned I would be moving all my stuff out, and the woman I spoke with did not mention the elevators were down. So I lost money renting a uhaul when I wouldn't be able to get all my stuff down the narrow stairs (my unit is on the 4th floor.) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I chose this place based on price and closeness to my apartment. It's safe and secure for my stuff. The parking area is a tight squeeze but manageable. The other two things I'm frustrated by are the (sunflower?) seeds that appear to have fallen into my storage unit through the mesh top of the unit, and the lighting! It's almost pitch black in my storage unit and I have to use my cell phone light to see anything, which of course makes it hard to lift and move boxes in/out. It wasn't noticeable how dark it was when they showed me the unit, but with all my stuff in there it's really hard to see in the back. They had mentioned they were doing renovations when I moved in over a year ago, but I've not seen any changes made. Now that I have a full-time job again I'll be looking for a different storage place where I can see things.

It's a decent storage service. It's very cheap, and safe. They don't tell you there's required insurance and your own lock if you don't have one, so make sure to add a few more dollars to your first payment. Other than that, they're really good.

The staff is as far as I've experienced professional and courteous. The facilities seem to have regular water intrusion issues if you look up at the ceiling while on the first floor you can see many points of water intrusion damage/staining the prices are good

Pros: I relocated from another state, called several storage companies and this was the cheapest. Great customer service, friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Awkward parking. My property has been stored there for almost 2 yrs and now I'm about to into my own apartment and still have to pay for a whole month but will not be utilizing the unit most of the month. They will not prorate ??

Convenient location for anyone in Fells or Fed. Staff was efficient and friendly staff. Moving in was painless. We reserved a ground floor unit which was conviently by a slide up door at the loading dock. Our 9 foot uhaul van rental fit in the loading space dock without issue. Was less expensive then any other locations we were looking at. Just factor into your cost upfront that you will need insurance, it was about $12 for our unit. You will also either need to bring a lock or purchase a $13 one from them at check in.

I made a reservation the night before I planned to go. I reserved a first floor unit and went in to the office around 4pm. I found it pretty easily and Sue, the general manager explained everything quickly and easily. The units are not climate controlled, but they are certainly all I need. Signing up was quick and easy too. Great price with an online reservation discount!

I needed a storage facility in the downtown area, but I think I will return to my previous facility. This location is a small, enclosed space with very limited access hours. In addition to the hours, you need to use a lift to move items from your vehicle, to a cart, to the elevated floors/units. Not at all convenient. The online "special" that advertises 1 month free for a unit, is also false...they simply charge you hidden fees. Also, a representative from this location (Sue) is extremely rude. If you are unable to assist customers in a friendly and respectful manner, you should not work in a customer-driven industry.

It was a horrible experience I was miss informed through out the entire process from start to finish. I wasn't fully prepared to buy three locks on one storage unit. They only had one elevator, the floor I was moving was dark, and the hour of operation sucked.

Pleasantly SURPRISED after seeing the location was in downtown Baltimore. It appears this is going to be a good place to store. If I had to complain about anything it would be the way the elevators are set up. They run a little slow although it appears there is a tracking "mechanism" within the system. Time will tell BUT so far so good??

They are rude and ignorant raise my rates told me if I didn't like it get the f*** out everytime I go there the elevators are down to never get to the floor that I need to get to I was told today by their maintenance person that there are bed bugs in the building that management not deal with older humans have wooden beams inside of all of them you will not get your full size unit that you're paying for

I rented a storage space a month ago for a complicated move and so was visiting the CubeSmart facility several times a week. The staff has always been courteous and helpful, and, the few times a problem came up, they were able to fix it quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this storage facility for ease of access, reasonable rates and good service.

Sue and the other employees at CubeSmart were very efficient, friendly, and helpful! I couldn't be happier with my experience. They made it all very easy, and I feel very secure that my property is safe at this location. The storage units are only open when the office is open, and you need a personalized code to get into the elevator, which only goes to your floor. I would highly recommend this place!

I had a great experience at this location! The staff was friendly and helpful the location is great a staff member name April Ient a helpful hand she helped me and my sister move a couch on to a elevator and made the process to rent an unit extremely easy.I would recommend getting a unit here goes to show you all of Charm City isn't soo bad.
