The exit door is always broken. I’ve rented from this Cube Smart Store before, and often found the exit door not functional. Today, a lot of customers were moving in and out with really big trucks. The exit door not operating properly caused safety issues! March 1, 2024 I was very happy to see Jeffrey at the storage facility today. He explained the reason for the exit door not working. I’m sure he’s on top of the problem!

Title: Terrible Experience with Cubesmart Storage Company Review: I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Cubesmart Storage Company, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with others. The level of service I received was far from satisfactory, and it is important for potential customers to be aware of the issues I encountered. First and foremost, the customer service was abysmal. Upon arriving at the facility, I was greeted by rude and unhelpful staff members who seemed disinterested in assisting me. They were dismissive of my questions and failed to provide any useful information about the storage units or the rental process. It was clear that they lacked basic knowledge about their own services, which was incredibly frustrating. Lastly, to make matters worse, the security measures at the facility were inadequate. I did not feel confident that my belongings were safe and secure, especially given the lack of staff presence and the general disorganization of the facility. In conclusion, I strongly advise against using Cubesmart Storage Company. Their terrible customer service and inadequate security make them a highly unreliable and untrustworthy storage provider. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and look for a reputable company that values their customers and provides a reliable and secure storage solution.

Updated Review: Exceptional customer service. I worked with Jeff in securing my unit and he exceeded expectations. HOWEVER, there is an apparent rat infestation problem. Our household belongings were in the storage for eight months and when we retrieved our items, there was rat feces EVERYWHERE, and the smell of rat urine on all of our furniture, even though they were wrapped in plastic. Rats ate through couch cushions and our clothing. We ended up having to trash several of our items as a result. They need to get this figured out.

The layout of the building great idea. I like how you can drive right inside pretty much right up to your unit. Now on the downside of things customer service needs work. They gave me the wrong lock code 3 times before I got the right one. Hung up on me once and told me unfortunately they couldn’t do anything for me. Mind you I’m a business owner who is about time and money which at this point I was losing on both. Lastly, I was told the District Manager was going to reach out to me after 2pm yesterday never heard from him. For this to be my first experience with this location I was not impressed at all.

Each time I had the pleasure of working with Yvonne, who exhibited the utmost in customer service. She explained the prices and showed me actual examples of the various sized units available. She even offered tips to help ensure a smooth move in experience. The amazing thing about all of this is that she usually had to navigate answering the phone, acknowledging other walk in customers, and handling various administrative tasks at the same time she was assisting me. Did not have a single positive interaction with the employees at this place the many times I was there. The facility is ok. Climate controlled is a stretch…it is still pretty damp and very warm inside the storage warehouse. The inside is very large though and super easy to get a truck in and out…if the employees will let you. I had a Penske truck full and booked this location specific for the drive up and climate controlled access. However, the employees wouldn’t let me in stating my moving truck was too big for their facility! They opened a tiny side door and made me tote everything through that instead. Added several extra hours into my unloading time… so frustrating! Then when I returned I used a smaller truck. But that time the employees told me I was driving through the facility the wrong way. The lady told me to make a U-Turn inside the facility…inside the facility! This place is a joke! Do not recommend!!

The huge exit door to the indoor storage units has been broken for several weeks, at least for the last 3 months I've been coming. It's very difficult to get in and out. What's supposed to be a smooth one way traffic has become a two-way nightmare. Safety is a major concern. It's no wonder I see so many huge dent marks on the walls where cars have crashed into. When I called to politely ask when they eere going to fix the door, I received a very unprofessional response from the manager who had an attitude. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. How many doors are broken at this facility? Major red flag & a huge concern. I was calling with a legitimate conern & her rudeness was uncalled for. Safety is obviously not a priority at this facility nor is respect. They choose to ignore the well-being of their customers & continuously inconvenience them.

For the most part, we are very pleased with all the interactions we have had with the staff at this CubeSmart location. They are all polite, courteous and patient. Additionally, we would like to offer extra kudos to Kerwin. On more than one occasion he done more than required. One time our moving truck was parked about 70 feet away from our unit and he noticed us unloading it without using a cart. It was obviously going to be long and arduous task for us. Without saying anything to us, he walked all the way to where the carts are stored (which was several hundred yards away) and then walked all the way back to us with a cart. He has a great personality, is always friendly and always informative and professional.

Tracee and the young man were personable, efficient, knowledgable, helpful, and professional. Tracee was patient with me during the selection process for the unit. When I returned, close to the end of her work shift, she did not rush me, she listened to my concern and answered my questions. Tracee even drove me back inside to the storage units so I could change the unit size. Tracee did this, continuing to smile, as we finished up. The site is very clean and smells fresh. I am confident that my positive first impressions and my future experiences, with this location in Clinton, MD, will continue.

I Rented a Storage last Saturday to find out when I got there with my rented U-Haul, my access was denied. So I had to find a family member to store my things as in their living room for a week and return the truck. When I went back to inform them of the mistake they did and the wasted time and MONEY!!!! The manager stood there and didn't offer an apology or a discount. Now I have to rent a truck and reload AGAIN! WOW.. POOR SERVICE!

I had a wonderful experience renting at the CubeSmart in Camp Springs, MD. The storage facility took great care of my possessions and the staff really went the extra mile to help me in my moving situation. Case in point, when I discovered a scratch on the side of my rental vehicle, the store manager personally helped us to remove it. She carefully scrubbed the outside of my truck to make sure that the stain was gone. I have never seen such professionalism and respect for someone else’s possessions in my life. I would highly recommend this place to all my close friends and family! Amazing staff! Great place!

I received the worst customer service experience ever. The first person I came in contact with was wonderful! Age left that store 2 days later and it was downhill from there. I reserved there truck for Sunday because my brother funeral was Saturday and they lady said that's fine. The next day (Saturday) she was no longer working at that location. A young lady named laprelle was the meanest most inconsiderate person I have encountered in my life. She refused to give me the truck because she said they don't lend the trucks out on Sunday even though that was my reservation date. She then said she dont even know where the key to the truck is because she is from another store. I called the store GM and he ignored my call and text because he don't work on weekends so I'll have to wait until Monday but my stuff had to be out of my apartment by the next Friday. I had to pay the movers to come out and I had no truck for them to use because laprelle gave me such a hard time. I asked her can she please contact the GM and he responded to her message. He let me take the truck but I lost it po n some hours needed and some of the movers had left needless to say I didn't get all my belongings out because the truck had to be back by 2:45 and I didn't get it until after noon and I was at the store at 11. By the way she mysteriously found the key but she never asked the manager where it was??, remember she told me she didn't know where the key was.

I had an excellent experience at this location. I reserved a unit online. When I went into the facility to purchase a lock, the staff was very personable and professional. This is the second time that I have used this location within the last seven years. Although I don’t plan to relocate again, I would definitely use this facility again if the need arose.

Today's experience at CubeSmart was exceptional. I reserved a storage space one week prior to move in with Ross who gave me a tour of the facility. When I arrived on my move in day I was greeted by KY Jones who provided a second walk through the facility to ensure that I was satisfied with the storage unit. By far the managers at this location have gone above and beyond for me. As a military member it’s already hard moving every few years. I reserved a unit prior to my published orders and realized I needed a smaller unit. Instead of making me accomplish the same paperwork they did a direct transfer. Which saved time and money. We misplaced the key of our storage unit. Travaun Montgomery helped us opened it after verifying Identification which is a relief. Everything went smoothly thanks to him. He is an asset to the store since we lease there so many manager's have come and go.. I hope they keep him. I didn't provide 5 stars because Cubesmart increases the fee every year which I find unneccesary.

Management here was very rude when I asked for help with a simple issue, I was lied to and a business should not do that. Customer Service is everything when there are other Storage units all around and for much cheaper than their rates. The door also was halfway broken and was never fixed even though I asked. Will never do business with this company again.

I had to change my move-in date last minute, and they were able to get me into a new unit, and set me up for a truck the same day.
